LOVE the visual presentation here. really great concept.

i appreciate stories that jump right into the conflict like pressure cooker does. there's the immediate tension and frustration, and the setup is really easy to immediately understand so it works well. the hatred between these two is palpable, and their personalities (especially regarding how they act in a crisis under stress) are evident really quickly. i also really like how i can feel that theyve been bottling up a lot of resentment towards each other for a long time.

theres fantastic artwork in this. i wasnt expecting the expressions to get so intense.

holy shit, the buildup with the fight and them rolling around on the floor was awesome. i loved seeing the line used again against nicole. i also really loved seeing her give in. that was incredible how quickly she changed her tone. i honestly love both of their personalities and how they handled this.

GREAT ENDING.

thank you so much for making this, so so so so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the funniest interpretation of toxic yuri that ive read so far. what the fuck are these sound effects they keep making me laugh. the worldbuilding details of how people are dying were great, and the dialogue is really genuinely funny to me. joy's genuine anger and frustration is depicted in a very ridiculous and over the top way that i can enjoy it

i also really love the goofy aesthetics here, with the music, text display, and overall visual presentation. i want more games where the characters are just floating face sprites moving around the screen

rum is insane and a fun character. FORTY SEVEN TIMES?

i also think this is a genuinely interesting premise and the conflict is intriguing. i love the disregard for scientific accuracy. thank you so fucking much for making this. genius conclusion. shoutout to kitakawa

AHHHH YOU SCARED ME LOL

thank you so much!!!!

intense and oppressive atmosphere created by the writing style, ambiance, and the illusion of choice dialogue options. i really enjoyed how this was written. the feeling of panic and overwhelm was very strong, but so is the lust and the eagerness to be used and manipulated. when the delirium increases steadily, the descriptions of what bodily sensations are felt are really well done and immersive. i also really enjoy the nonstandard formatting and line breaks used to emphasize the rhythm of the protagonists thoughts

part of what i really like here is the focus on yearning for someone who wants you very deeply. theres also the focus on being a small, petite girl compared to a powerful and domineering partner. the nearly complete lack of care for bodily health in the pursuit of pleasure is very sexy, but the focus on being dressed like a cute doll is also very sexy

ina is really an interesting character, isnt she? i feel a connection to her and empathy.. but wow, zero self-preservation skills make me nervous for her. shes absolutely perfect for this story.

i found a typo in the line "...Is she even a vampire, or is she just lieing to me as she bites me again and again" (correct to lying)

the art is part of what drew me into this story as well. im a big fan of the outfits here and the bloody effects. one thing i would have really loved is for the expressions on demis face to be drawn when she is angry and shouting.

the ending made me sad, but in a good way. also it would be great if the ending screen would lead back to the main menu page.

well done, everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thoroughly enjoyable experience <3 <3

love you as i am thoughts

it might just be my browser since i use a nonstandard one, but the game did not play so i downloaded it instead. my first impression was that i like this music and the GUI is stylized nicely despite being in the same layout as the default settings.

i was already looking forward to the art, but i love taking time to look at the CGs here. sometimes it feels like i am deciphering a map or an intricate mural full of very purposeful strokes and details. every time there was a new CG i spent a while picking it apart.

the writing style really caught me immediately! the first person narration is so intensely intimate that i feel like im reading a diary, or someones most secret thoughts. the obsession and adoration comes across so so well. after finishing the game, im genuinely blown away by how much i enjoyed the writing of this. it felt both realistic and deeply personal and i loved how the themes of self-hatred and shame worked alongside the singleminded obsessive love; accepting self-love conflicted with completely and only loving eumane.

the shift from vara's introduction monologue to eumane returning some of her flirtations surprised me because it started feeling more lighthearted and silly. adding to that with the sudden conversation topic being so silly, there was a big tone shift that made things feel like the two of them both get along, but it also made me laugh a lot and i felt really surprised. i think the levity added a lot to the experience.

oh my god, i was really not expecting the first bad ending to be like that. at all. i could not have ever predicted that. i got pranked. and suddenly, the tone shifted to extremely serious, and i actually really loved where it was going. there were so many twists going on that i felt blindsided often, but the extremely emotionally honest dialogue that went on way longer than i expected it to and the music choices brought it home for me. it was also unfortunately very easy for me to sympathize with a lot of what was going on. im a sucker for vulnerability and the execution was impressive. it ended up not really feeling like a bad ending because i enjoyed it.

i have a lot of feelings about the good ending that i dont know how to put into words, but i thought it was amazingly done. thank you for making this and uploading it.

junk mail thoughts

my first impression was that this is a very ambitious concept to tackle as one person, so i was surprised. multiple options happening as often as they do immediately makes it take much longer to get to writing the story, so it makes a lot of sense why the game wasn't able to be completed within the game jam time limit. im really impressed that the demo was made within 20 days, there's a LOT of fantastic visual polish and attention to detail with the art. i think the art is also really pleasing to look at and cute.

the audio is very quiet and i almost didn't notice that there was audio, so it would be great if that is balanced to standard listening levels. the music itself tends to feel really discordant/erratic and a little disorienting for me, but it also adds to the feeling of tension and unease in the story. also, some of the SFX are a lot louder than the music in an uncomfortable way.

there are a few bugs i noticed during my playthrough with sprites not showing up or appearing slightly offscreen, or appearing in different outfits all of the sudden in the middle of a conversation. also appearing in front of the settings menu when i open it? which makes it difficult to use the settings menu since i cannot see it. there were also a few typos to fix

regarding accessibility checking, it would be great if there was an option to disable the screenshaking and to read with a more reader-friendly font, as much as i love the pixelated font and how well it works with the pixelated aesthetic of a lot of the CGs.

speaking of the CGs, wow holy shit these are so fun to look at. absolutely delightful!!!! i can tell a lot of care and love and excitement went into drawing these and figuring out how they would appear, they're really well-done. i love the expressions especially.

im definitely interested in seeing more of this game, and even though i think harriet is a frustratingly pathetic girl i feel bad for her. i sympathize with her plight. but shes pathetic in a way where im itching to see her have some character growth, so i would love to see more of this story.

thank you for making and uploading it!!!!

crashing waves thoughts

i like this art style a lot. the waves on the GUI are really pretty and i love how the seafoam is stylized. i would love to see a more rendered version of the CGs but i also appreciate the effectiveness of the current quick and simple rendering.

im not a fan of parts of the GUI because in the menus the text color is either gray or white, and the gray doesn't contrast well by itself so it can be difficult to read. the white contrasts well, but overall would definitely go through and do an accessibility check

another thing is that i dislike having to click/interact twice instead of once for progressing the dialogue. however i like the general layout of how the dialogue is displayed and i like that the character names are displayed easily.

i understand some mandarin so maybe my reading experience would be different from other readers who dont, but in lines like where mei lanyun says baobei i think i would have not put the chinese characters and only put the pinyin. that was just my thought when reading.

the difference in mood with the two relationships is really stark, and i like how intimate the scenes with mei lanyun feel. it really feels like casual conversations between lovers.

i think having some ambient music or ambient sound would do a lot for more immersion in a lot of the scenes.

i wish that the ending had more writing, it was very abrupt and the quickness was disorienting and surprising. i was confused why it was happening in the way that it did, but i appreciated the foreshadowing that had been in the earlier dialogue. i couldnt understand why litongxi made her decisions and i didnt feel like there was adequate buildup to it, so if this visual novel ever receives more writing i think that would be the best place to focus. i would absolutely read an updated version!

i also noticed one or two typos and a simple bug so i think proofreading and having others reflect their impressions about the experience would help a lot.

thank you for making this! i enjoyed playing it and hope to see more!

this made me so happy. thank you

I really enjoyed this game. I went into it with little to no expectations, since I tend to just download anything on my screen and play it, and was pleasantly surprised by several fun hours of gameplay. The dialogue was solid. The puzzles were pretty neat. I really had a good time. The story was pretty interesting and I liked it! Wasn't bad at all. Thanks for making such a fun game. I love loop stories.

really relaxing and wholesome, thank you for making <3

i'm really glad this game exists!

really excited for this after playing melon journey
