The save data is located in your local app data folder, so if you download the latest version you will not lose any progress.

Thanks for your post and for buying Neophyte. Out of curiosity, did those solo devs retroactively send a steam key? (i.e. game released on itch first, then steam release later, then gifted key for steam without another purchase)

Hi reido, sorry to say that no Steam keys will be provided for itch.io purchases made before or after the Steam release due to the logistics and limitations of being a solo dev (just edited the post to explain this). The itch version will always be up to date with the Steam version so you aren't missing any out on any content/features (except for steam achievements and cloud saves).

 Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks! The music is free and made by MusMus: https://musmus.main.jp/

Hmm that's strange. Here's a working link: https://discord.gg/azu9MWhm5d

My own game gets flagged by Avast antivirus too haha. I can assure you it's not malware

Hi! So I'm not the knowledgeable person when it comes to this but the current executable is a 32-bit program. Future versions of the game will be 64-bit but I can keep a separate download for 32-bit

Thank you! Nothing better to wake up to that seeing a retromation video of my game :)

Thank you very much! I added the custom CSS below and it hides the text entirely (I'm using a test page for an updated version of my game so this change isn't visible on the current page).

.header_buy_row {
visibility: hidden;
height: 0px;
}

When I view my page on PC, the "a downloadable game" text is hidden. However, if I reduce the width of the browser window or view the page on mobile, the text appears below the banner image. Is there a way to hide it at all times? I have custom CSS enabled but I'm not familiar with it.

Thanks!

The sound design, visuals, and general feel of the game are great. The mechanic is pretty interesting and I only wish there were more challenging levels to test the player's mastery of it but it's a game jam so of course it's gonna be short :)

Some people are pointing out that the movement feels a bit floaty but I think it makes it much easier to get a grasp of the main teleportation mechanic. Perhaps you could improve the theming to give context for the floaty gravity. Maybe it takes place in outer space or the character is some sort of balloon-like creature?

Overall, I really enjoyed this one!

He recently responded to this issue on his twitter @Oakleaff_  - I believe that the Cryptrunner dev (fusdev) ripped off Blastion.
