Just simple fun, one of my favorites this game jam.
Love the ducks, if i could critic i would, but its perfection. Just give me more levels.

Gets you playing right away. Art style feels right. Kicking down doors filled me with joy.
Adding on-screen indicators would make the item pickup mechanic clearer, i threw my gun way to often, and didnt know how to get it back. The difficulty can be off-putting as headshots only mattered.
Had fun for the few doors I could kick. It is a fast and punishing experience.
The font choice was not a nice choice, it became difficult to read.
Would also be nice to have a spellbook to see. I have 7 mana to use, but had no idea other then a few spells i figures out with 3. Clues would of been nice. Last bit of feed back, is there was a lot of things drawing my eyes on the screen and it would be nicer if you made the important parts more visible.
Was a nice game, and has more potential then my game. I liked how the spells i casted had its own sfx
The game page hurts my eyes, the white cubes are too bright for me on the sides. Trying to read the description kept my forcing my eyes to them. Like it with your logo/banner, really well done on it.
This was fun for me, disabling security, and finding the files with stars, and making sure to grab all the memes, dogs, cats, and dogs and cats pictures. How isnt Paint not the most useful tool? Let me download it!
Giving you the thoughts I had while i played
- Would of been nice if the count down timer was not running while i was reading the note.
- The wave buttons are not what i thought they were going to be. Not intuitive, which would be nice if i had more highlight on it
- The matching would of been nicer if it was a selector with up and down arrows for both side. that way you can scale the difficulty as you complete them. eg 1x is just 2 connections while 9x is 10 connections.
- fuel matching difficulty was not consistent, started with it being a small gap and it got bigger
- Like the consistent art theme.
- liked the navigation
I played it 3 times, had fun, thank you.
That is great, gives me memories of pokemon snap.
So the one issue that I hit was the the sheep and jump the fence. Had a few instances of this, with the sheep that dont run, those seem to stay in. (How dare they!)
Would love more variation in sheep with colors and other animals, like a llama.
It felt cozy, the music/art made it feel even cozier. I enjoyed making those memories. Fantastic to play.
The art style was appealing, but I found it difficult to tell what was decorative and what I could actually interact with. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what I was supposed to do and what the controls were before eventually giving up.
That said, the movement felt smooth, and I liked the overall art direction. I think with a bit more guidance at the start, it would be much easier to get into.
The timer starts while you're still on the intro screen.
The controls were confusing at first. I also think the inventory needs more slots, as I spent a lot of time running back to the shop to sell items. I did like how the farmer moved.
I assume the large amount of starting cash was to let players upgrade early because of the short time limit.
Once I understood the game, I found it easy to cheese by growing everything, collecting it all, leading the monster around for extra time, and selling the excess.
The mouse wheel should scroll through the hotbar. That would make switching tools feel better.
It has its appeal, thank you for the hard work you put in.
My thoughts as I was playing it:
The slimes can go through the walls
The hair flipping as i run, just like how I run in real life, fabulously.
I like the art and sfx
I can walk through a door and be in the black background
A dead end with nothing there, evil!
Pressed esc and now its stuck. No pause screen but cant do anything
Press R to Restar, didnt know i was a star to begin with.
The game is in debug mode.
Would of been nice to load into a menu.
Did you only have the one level, was unsure how to get to the next stage.
The game launched into a small window state.
What i did like was the heart, the combat was also fun. Art was also nice, good work on the combat system!
Would you believe me if I said I only implemented the sound on the day of submission? I really wanted to add UI buttons, but I just ran out of time. My apologies, and thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely make better sound controls next time. Maybe even a settings page.
I will take that advise for the next game i make.
That was difficult, wish i had a mouse with a ratchet mode. It was like trying to hit an integer when your spinning was a float.
Cool concept, like other said, sound. Also to save people like me, is to have a grace hit, if you are really close it gets on the number. Else spinning between 1 and -1 was difficult, later on.

Well my word that i failed five times was CAT, then again the music got faster and i kept hitting a first.
That was some fun. Simple games just great, easy to get and play. Thank you for this experience.
Expanding for more words. Level difficulty was good. Audio was good.
It's definitely not an easy game to play solo, but I really enjoyed the progression.
One suggestion would be to reward chain reactions a bit more, similar to Puzzle Pirates, with multipliers or bonus points for consecutive matches. I think it would make matching feel even more exciting.
I'd also love to see a screen that shows what each location rewards before choosing where to go. For example, showing the mushroom icon with "x2 after rain" would help me decide where I want to head. It would also be useful to have a button that shows the costs for building tools and cooking meals.
Amazing work!
The different quality settings were a nice touch. Wabba wabba wah.
I absolutely loved the art. The drawings and animations were fantastic, and the whole game looked amazing.
I did run into a bug where I threw a file into the recycle bin and it never spawned back. I also enjoyed the mini games, although they started to feel a bit repetitive when I had to play five of them in a row.
Overall, really impressive work!
Most of the tower descriptions weren't populated, so I wasn't sure what each tower did at first.
I think sorting the tower list by price would make it easier to use. A tile-based placement system might also help, as I ended up stacking five towers in the same spot. I also found that pressing the start wave button multiple times sent me straight to the end screen.
Money became quite easy to earn, and once I had a tower with a large area of effect, it felt a bit too strong since the shots damaged everything they hit. 5 wizards in the ring and a garlic just outside it.
The art wasn't always consistent, but that's understandable with the time limits of a game jam.
Overall, something I would be proud of, Great Job!
That's one pretty game page! All it needs is a banner at the top and it'll be perfect.
I am officially a failure. I ended with 8 failures and only 2 successes. I loved how the Grab Dinner activity ran away from me.
One small suggestion would be to avoid repeating the same activities, just to keep things feeling fresh.
Superb art. I absolutely loved it.
Visually, the game looks great and everything worked nicely.
My only suggestion would be to shorten the overall playtime a bit. Around 1:30 might work well for a demo, as repeating the 4x3 memory puzzle after each activity started to feel a little repetitive for me.
I ended up failing three times and called it there. Even so, it's an impressive game and you did a great job.
Lets just say losing is the point of the game.
So when i got the prompt, my partner said i needed cats, so first thought that came was 9 lives. I needed them to go down, so I gave a boss that was never happy, hence why you lose if you hit the timer.
The cats just have a collider on it that take out beakers, so if a beaker fell, you got a strike. Other than that, they just visually cover the beakers and make it harder to see. Classic cats, other words obstacle. Big complaint is that you cant pet them.
Would you believe me i did all the sounds in less than 30 minutes on the day of the submission.
I loved the animations and particle effects. They really made the game feel satisfying to play.
I also liked how the music sped up as things got more intense. I don't usually read anything outside of the game itself, but I was able to figure things out pretty quickly and even managed to buy a upgrades before losing.
Well done. The core gameplay is really solid.
I jumped off the map and I'm pretty sure I'm still falling while writing this. A reset button would have been really helpful.
I also think a little more guidance on where to go would help, as I wasn't always sure where I was meant to head. I was also curious about the sword, since I couldn't find a way to use it. Assumed its because you did not have the time.
It's a shame you didn't get to finish it. I liked the background flowers, and I could see what you were going for. I think this could have turned into something really cool with a bit more time.
