Hi! I have the same problem. All my content is free, but it's deindexed. I'm not as concerned about the NSFW assets as I am about the deindexing of my game. It's a normal, free safe-for-work jam game, the page is properly formatted, and the last update was 24 days ago, but for some reason it's also deindexed. What did I do wrong?

Good game!

Thank you for playing!

So amazing art in this game!

It's so cool that you played it! It was interesting to watch you playthrough it. I'm glad you liked my game

I'm amazed at how technically professional the game is. SpookY2K is synonymous with STYLE. As someone who's also studying RenPi, I'm simply delighted. Everything is spot on: magical backgrounds, the VHS effect on the screen, the pleasant and cute sprites (they blink so smoothly!), parallax, UI, sound effects, and the catchy music (which can be muted in the menu!).

Overall, I'm impressed technically. It's a masterpiece; it's clear how much work and love your team put into this game.

I found the story sweet and funny. An interesting idea – unlocking new dialogue lines after completing the game!

There are a few things I noticed. First, you shouldn't have disabled scrollback – I've actually found that this feature is used VERY often, and people get really annoyed when it's gone. For example, someone might like the animation and want to rewatch it; or he accidentally pressed the wrong line in the dialogue.

I will be grateful if you check out my VN. I have a lot to learn from your team, but I also tried to make the game interesting.

I played your game. It's enchanting and terrifying! It perfectly creates the atmosphere of a dark and gloomy surreal tale about hunter and hunted.

I want to especially praise the sound. The sound is simply stunning. It's reminiscent of early Japanese sound novels, where the player (reader) relied more on the sound than the image.

By the way, the image is also beyond praise. I really like your style; everything is done in black and red tones, but more black, which makes the red less jarring and more organic (and adds to the gloom).

I was sad to kill the deer, but that's just my opinion. I understand that this is artistic intent.

I noticed a few oddities. For example, sometimes the sounds would cut out and then restart (in the scene where the deer notices us). Perhaps this is a bug.

Even after finishing the game (I chose to starve the village), I found myself back at the main menu, but I couldn't restart the game—the button was grayed out.

Thanks for game! Now that I've looked at the screenshots, I see I haven't even seen half the game. I think I'll come back soon and play it to the real ending. It was a truly interesting experience. I have a lot to learn from you!

Thank you so much for such a detailed review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the game and that it left a positive impression.

Regarding the hints: yes, perhaps it would have made sense to create some sort of catalog, marking possible paths to endings and item hints. Maybe I'll do something similar in the next project.

(I can say that the best ending is the same actions and choices as for Uzumaki's ending, but you need to bring water and rinse your eye.)

Regarding the typos, that's true, unfortunately. English isn't my native language, and I was worried the translation would be completely incomprehensible. Thank you for your attention, I will review the text again.

Thank you for playing! Your review is what motivates me to create!

I liked your game! It's so cute and fun. I liked the dialogue with the girls and the pumpkin minigame (it's really cool that the pumpkin ends up on the table). The graphics (especially the sprites) and character designs are really nice! And I liked that you can choose who you go into the tunnel with.

Right now, the game looks like a good basis for a larger story. You could add story, plot events,  character development, conflict, and expand the world. Then it could be a sweet, interesting Halloween-themed game!

It would also be great to add more music, sound effects (like the opening of a cage, or sounds in minigames), and improve the game backgrounds a bit.

It would be great to see this game grow into a larger project!

It's a titanic undertaking! There are so many games...

If you ever get a chance, you can play my novella too: https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2025/rate/3896046

Thanks for playing the game, I'm im glad you like it! Yes, I already played your game and wrote a review on the main page. Your game is great, and I've recommended it to several of my friends!

Good idea!

Hi!
I you can play VN I made, Spine Chilling Story of Abnormal Ramen: https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2025/rate/3896046

Also I recommended Death Has Been Murdered (it's real Halloween vibes https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2025/rate/3878135 ), The Girl and The Fallen Star (it's melancholic folklore fairytale w beautiful art https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2025/rate/3878728 ) and of course Don't eat the cashier! (man it's crazy, highly recommended https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2025/rate/3924128 )

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer! I'll probably ask someone I know to proofread the text next time to fix the issues you pointed out. I was worried the text was completely bad, but it looks like it wasn't.

I checked the code again and realized the untranslated strings were a Renpai error. I'll try to fix that in the future.

I'm glad you liked the game. I'll play your novel; it's already on my list!

UPD

Thank you for detailed feedback! I'm very glad that you liked my game.

I'm glad to hear it! Thanks for playing!

Hi! I played your game. I liked the art style, especially the characters. The distortion in the background looks a little odd and blurs the background, but overall it looks stylish and nice.

Perhaps for a short jam-themed novel, the plot progresses rather slowly. Perhaps they should have included a few more striking scenes at the very beginning to intrigue the player.

I'd also recommend identifying the character speaking, for example, highlighting them on the screen or changing the color of their name. This would make it easier for the player to follow dialogue involving multiple characters.

Also, the game could have been more visually diverse: perhaps showing panoramas of nature or the world between scenes in the lab would have made the game feel visually rich.

The game became truly interesting and intriguing when it was revealed that the staff had to make sacrifices. That was a great move! Perhaps if the game had shown it earlier, or even started with that scene, it would have been even better.

Overall, I liked the game; keep developing and creating new projects.

I will be grateful if you check out my VN. Maybe English isn't good in it (it isn't my native language), but I tried

At first, I was worried about the quality of my visual novel plot (friends had already criticized it, but rightfully so), but now I think I've also screwed up the translation.

If anyone plays my novel and rates the translation (whether it's passable or downright terrible), I'd be VERY grateful! And, of course, I'll play your game and give you feedback.

I was planning to translate my next project the same way, but if things turn out badly now, I'll ask someone I know for help in the future.

Hi!

I played your game. Here are a few points.

1. You're using standard backgrounds, sprites, and even the heroine's name. It's best not to do that. Look for new backgrounds and sprites; itchio has plenty of them (for example, I make free character sprites, check my page). Everyone has seen the sprites from your game, and they make the game feel cheap and crude. It's best to avoid this.

2. Create a background for the main menu. It creates the player's first impression. If it's a standard gray background, it's boring; it's better to use an image.

3. The plot is unclear. Why am I asked for some code at the beginning? Who is the main character, and who is his girlfriend? I understand the idea of the game—you need to gather code from the endings, but the player has no motivation to do so because they're not immersed in the game world. Tell the story of the characters, show a few scenes, make the player empathize with them—then they'll be motivated to explore and learn about your game.

I understand this is your first project. It requires a lot of work, but the idea has potential. Don't give up, develop your skills, and you're sure to succeed!

(Sorry for the English, I used Google Translate)

Hi!

I played your game.

The core concept isn't just cool, it's AWESOME. The player is immersed in the Halloween atmosphere from start to finish. Choose of characters where unexpected, but interesting decision. I chose the Maradeur because think he's more active (?). I got a good ending (albeit sad), and next time I'll try playing as the Bartender.

Morality system is good choice for short novel because player can understend which decisions change the plot and which don't.

The control scheme is odd (left-clicking accidentally continues a dialogue).

The interface and sound are great; everything works good! Typing sounds, mouse clicks, etc.

In conlusion: it's good game, and I really enjoyed it. I will be grateful if you check out my VN

What a beautiful game! I like art and atmosphere of dark and little melancholic fairytale

My friend tried a special ramen and now nothing else satisfies his hunger... Literally.
Can I save him?

🍥 This slice-of-life horror story follows two high school students, Maya and Yan. After eating a strange noodle, they find themselves drawn into exploring an abandoned building that stretches deep into the depths of many, many floors...

My post might have seemed rude to you. I apologize for that; actually I'm looking forward to the full version of the game because i really liked the characters, the gloomy atmosphere of dungeon. And especially the cool battle music!

😍😍😍

Just click on gear icon (top right), and than choose English.

(Have a nice day!)

Cool demo!

Guys, I totally forgot about camp outfit...

If you need it, please, let me know

Wow! I like you music!

I like style and characters! But please, can you add enemy HP bar? I can't play without it, becase I haven't full battle information and can't play tactic. It's totaly blind and random battle; i's not a hardcore, it's old and not smart gamedesign.

What a cool game! Do you plan to make more games in this setting?

What a brilliant game... Thanks for that extraordinary expirience!
We need more game from you in this style.

So pretty game! ^-^

YOU ARE SAINT!

I was looking for an ordinary bedroom background for so long! Thank you so much!

Brilliant idea! Thanks for game.

Is Puppet Combo a source of inspiration?
