Here's a really good resource. Happy mixing! https://ask.audio/articles/mixing-101-techniques-for-starting-the-mix-process

If enough people are interested, I'll do a project breakdown video for this track :]

I really enjoyed the soundfonts you used! Gain staging is really good, and I enjoyed your use of stereo width. I feel like you did a pretty solid job overall mixing with such a busy track. I feel like maybe your tonal balance could be improved by adding more stuff in the 10k-20k hz range as I felt like the track didn't have enough brightness tonally. Really good job overall.

I enjoy the vibe this gives off, very unconventional. I feel like if you had EQ'd every instrument this would benefit greatly. Overall, pretty good!

Pretty solid work for only using beepbox. I would suggest maybe recording stuff and putting it in Audacity or a DAW to mix stuff. Good job!

Really impressed with this one. It's pretty well done overall. I really like the ambiance added in, adds to the vibe. I would suggest you cut the stereo in the bass frequencies below 120hz because it's adding a bit of mud to the low end, and maybe also mess around with panning a bit. Other than that, solid work.

I like your composition. I can definitely see the Touhou inspiration, and I think it's really cool! Overall, I feel like you could improve heavily with mixing for the most part. Good job!

I like the rhythm in the track a lot! Reminds me of a trotting horse or something, very creative. Composition and mixing need some work, but I like how you executed your vision. Very unique.

I really wish this was longer! I enjoy the composition and how it's almost like a lullaby. I feel like this piece could benefit from added length and complexity, and maybe some EQing for the mix. Good job overall.

Best feedback I can give you right now is to learn the art of mixing! You obviously have some solid potential, but the lack of mixing makes the track less polished than it has the potential to be. Nice track though, the vibe was very unique.

I feel like you have a really solid foundational piece that could be improved significantly with some better mixing. Tonal balance is something to really keep in mind, as the bass overpowers the rest of the track imo. Maybe also consider some creative use of sidechaining or LFOs on the bass. Keep up the good work!

I like the vibe and style you were going for, and appreciate the sound selection, but I feel like it could have been even better if you had gotten more creative with the sounds you used. Good job!

For Jam #8, Really liked what you were going for with the combination of synths and Asian string instruments. I feel like the sound design and mixing could be a bit better, but overall solid work.
