Hey nice game!!! I answered your survey too, just gonna write a little comment here. From the games that I have tested this one was the more challenging and you have already a complete mechanic that can be fun and reusable, since I don't have a very good memory I would appreciate to have a little more time to play and a shorcut to see the recipes so i dont have to run back to the book again and again, maybe with an choose difficulty option that unlocks this features. I want to try playing it again when the jam is over.

I like the concept of your game, the mechanics give a lot of potential to do amazing puzzles, also nice music, really helps to immerse in the game. I would suggest to add something that helps to know when you are in a safe area to change form since in my first try I pressed tab to only see how my hearts were gone and didn't know why.

Hey! I loved your game, I have a fun time trying to beat the level even if it took me too long hahaha. The gun and rope mechanics works really well and feel fun to use, my suggestions would be to change the jump button to W them because it was a little unconfortable using the spacebar for me and the wall jump is a little overpowered, you can almost skip the final part of the level, maybe you can add something to prevent the abuse of that feature. For level design ideas I was thinking something like using the rope to swing abobe a large spikes area.

Game Title/URL:  Pycho Maze 3D

Pitch/Information: A 3D dungeon explorer game. Find items to open the paths of the dungeon and find the exit before the monsters defeat you. 

I'd like feedback on: anything

I need help on: Improve the combat experience, sometimes it is dificult to know when an enemy is too near or too far. Level building ideas, most of my drafts in paper are to similar and this could make the game boring.

1. Hi I'm pycho, a programmer, who recently have started practicing how to do animations.

2. Yes I joined las jam, but couldn't submit anything with my team. That's something I want to do better, maybe if I would have been more proactive my team could be more motivated to submit at least something.

3. Love most kind of games but rpgs, puzzles and vn are some of my favorites 

4. I have shared a couple of (really bad) games heare on itch. I have used Unity the most, also have other personal projects that have not show yet, some with renpy, and others with plain javascript.

5. I love most of japanese culture, mostly the anime style art. Also love doing puzzles and painting.

6. Not sure yet, maybe I can find a team (I really need to learn teamwork) or marbe I could go solo and try to experiment aoing a game with mechanics I'm not familiar with yet.

Had a fun time designing her!

This game was amazing. I loved the art and also the combination of topdown view and side scroller. Also I appreciated that there was no annoying jumpscares, juts terror that makes you feel uneasy. Nice game I would like to play more of it!!!

Hello, my name is Oscar but I also use my nickname Acero.  My native language is Spanish, so i apologize if I make mistakes while writing in English. 

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining? 

Yes. I went solo in the last jam. I would like to work in a team this time so I can learn from the experience of others as well as learn teamwork. 

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own? 

I like most kind of games but RPGs and visual novels inspire me mostly for their stories. 

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine? 

The previous game jam I used Unity and I have more experience in this engine. Recently I have started to look into using Renpy. 

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about! 

Videogames and puzzles. Also, I love the good stories and lore of fantasy worlds. 

6. What are your goals for this game jam? 

I would like to share a more polished work than last time and also met some people (I'm introvert so this is something I'm working on) 

7. Any advice to new participants? 

Don't expect to make a perfect and flawless game, because you'll get unmotivated when things dont go the right way. If you get stuck with something, better work in something else and come back later to resolve the issue. Small and steady progress keeps you motivated.

Nice game! i really enjoyed the story, the dialog keeps you interested on what's going to happen, also the characters are very well developed (I really loved Kaya <3).
