You’re too smart for designing this! I usually don’t play any racing games, but everything else in your game made it really hard to put down.

You’re absolutely right, I definitely didn’t do a great job with the theme interpretation. My inspiration came from some nested loop illustrations I saw online, but after finishing the core mechanics, I still couldn’t come up with a solid nested loop design. So… I ended up creating a loop-themed story to kind of fit the jam. Thank you so much for noticing the code! I spent quite a bit of time getting it to work, so it really means a lot to hear that.
I really enjoy the gameplay, it’s simple yet addictive, and the minimalist visual style complements it beautifully. That said, I did notice some occasional issues with scoring logic. For example, sometimes points outside the loop with different colors cause a penalty, or points inside the loop with matching colors don’t get counted as a bonus when I feel they should. Despite that, I had a great time playing and truly love your game!
This is such a cozy and well-polished game. I really enjoyed the gameplay, and it fits the jam theme perfectly. The tutorial and guidance are well done, though I did have to experiment a few times to fully understand some of the mechanics. Apologies to the frogs who suffered during my learning process 🐸💔
I’m curious—have you considered turning this into a full game outside of the jam? I think it’s a genuinely great concept with a lot of potential!
Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words! I’m really happy that the story and art resonated with you—it means a lot to me. That sketchbook vibe was exactly what I was going for—so it’s amazing to hear you picked up on that! Thanks again for taking the time to play my game and to share your thoughts!
The background music and sound effects match the game’s atmosphere perfectly. There are many thoughtful details throughout the game, such as indicators showing the number of left enemies. My favorite detail is the arrow that appears to show the bullet’s position after it’s fired. It’s a clever and user-friendly design that enhances the overall gameplay experience.
The art style is highly distinctive. Enemies are not only animated differently but also have unique attack patterns, so fun to play.
My only suggestion is to add an option to “tap to continue” during story segments. Currently, the dialogue text advances a bit too quickly. As a non-native English speaker, I often don’t have enough time to finish reading one sentence before it jumps to the next, which slightly affects comprehension and immersion.
Thank you so much for playing—and for the super thoughtful feedback! 😊
About the Finish Button—thank you for helping me spot that issue! I’ve come up with a temporary workaround for now, and I’ll be fixing it properly after the jam.
As for the duplication glitch… it’s already on my list to polish post-jam.
Thanks again for the kind words and for taking the time to dig into the game. It really means a lot!
Troubleshooting: Finish Button Not Activating
👉 Temporary workaround: If you’re experiencing this issue now, please try placing a small pixel block inside the design box to re-enable the button.
Sorry for the current issue where the Finish Button may not activate properly! My original intention was to ensure that the design box must contain at least one graphic element. To achieve this, I used OnTriggerEnter() to enable the button and OnTriggerExit() to disable it. However, when the player removes the last object from the box, this logic fails, and the button doesn’t reactivate as expected.
I plan to fix this after the Jam by adding a counter to more accurately detect whether there are still graphics inside the design box.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support 🙏
This is so interesting!! Scaling the size of different objects allows for various ways to clear the levels. I really enjoyed the part where I could ride the truck, and I also loved making everything huge, it was so much fun! I also liked the meadow outside the levels, the scenery was great and fun. I haven’t passed the last level yet (it’s a bit difficult for me). I just closed the game and saw the cover image. I wondered if I could clear the turrets on the road by scaling up the houses and trees in the sky. I’m too lazy to open the game and start from the beginning to verify my idea. Also, your concept of “Every bug is a feature” is well reflected in this game, it gave me a lot of inspiration ,I really like it! And the fact that you completed this game in just 48 hours is crazy!
Regarding the physics, this should be a bug. I am a beginner and don’t have experience with Unity 3D physics systems yet. I believe reducing the bounce of items and adding mechanisms to ensure objects stay within the game screen will improve the gaming experience. Your comment gave me a lot of encouragement, thank you so much! Thank you for playing and for raising these issues, it has been very helpful to me!
