art style and intro was cute! unfortunately the game crashes for me when I killed the first skeleton and I couldn't play :( I'm on Firefox maybe thats why?

Looks very nice 👌

Thanks! We had to skip on the polish a bit because we ran out of time haha, happy you liked it! :)

Art style is A+++ and puzzles were fun. nicely done!

Love how the game looks and the varied enemies are nice. Gameplay is also pretty well executed, it was fun to run at the enemies in the small arena with the music blaring. Great job!

Thanks! We planned to tweak the controller at the end but we forgot lol, but I guess the weird effect kinda add to the experience in a way 😄

Thanks for the nice comment! These eldritch horrors (There are 2!) were one of the final thing we added to the game, happy you liked them :)

Thanks! It took a while to implement the rope into the game, happy you liked it :)

Thanks! :)

Did not manage to finish the game, but I passed trough a lot of doors, and in the end that's what a door simulator is for 🚪

Finally, Death is no more.

Very fun game! Controls were simple and intuitive and the tutorial really made the game easy to understand. Great job :)

Great effort, jumped a bit on my chair when I died 😂

Simple yet challenging, very nice game👌

Thanks! happy you like it 😄

Thanks! I'm gonna work a bit more on Geneland before putting it in a procjam because the text generation is really barebone for now lol, but I'm working on a small "not game" with some friends to submit to Procjam2022 🙂

The ambience and pixel arts are absolutely gorgeous, great "not game" !

Just released Colex, a simple tool I made to extract colors from pictures without having to open a full blown image editor just to copy a color.

I has some additional features such as:

  • Automatically copy clicked color to clipboard
  • History of clicked colors
  • Realtime preview of the color at mouse position

Planning on adding some more features soon (Open to ideas if you guys have some 🙂) but hoping to keep it unbloated.

This is what it looks like!

Thanks for playing! you're right about the crosshairs, if this was a bigger project I would definitely have worked more on that!

Congrats! and thanks for playing :)

Oops, just noticed the water splash after reading your comment, been looking at it for too long to notice I think 😂

Thanks for your comment, happy you liked it! it's true that the ice looked a bit bland lol

Thanks for the feedback! It's true that the camera could be tweaked a bit, didn't notice it while playtesting since I knew exactly where all the enemies were 😄

Happy you liked it! Agreed for the turrets, they actually were destructible while I was testing but I turned it off as it made them really too easy to deal with (had a bit of trouble balancing them 😁) Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for your comment! You're right about the laser turret, I tried to make them more balanced but somehow they were always too strong or completely useless lol

Thanks for playing! I'm sure that one day the secrets of Antarctica will be yours!

Thanks! Happy you liked it!

I'm sure there will be more opportunities for you to secure the treasures of Antarctica!  Thanks for the comment :)

Thanks! We are considering making a full game out of it! :)

Thanks for all the kind comments! Poor Mushy though 😢

I really liked that you had to move your mouse around the see where you are going and the visual effects were nice too.  Good job!

Fun and challenging! The concept was original and the controls were pretty smooth too, great job!

F in the chat

Haha I thought the same thing when I saw your game!

I also feel that the time-based score system was a good idea since it forces the player to act faster, making the game a bit harder (at least in theory lol) but there is a bit of tweaking to do to make it a challenging game.

I've got 1500 but I played a lot in the last 3 hours of the Jam when testing the game 😛

Thanks for you comment!

Thanks for you kind words on the art :) it's true that there is too much time to "judge a soul". This is because the longer you take the less point you get for judging it right, but even with this mechanic I agree that 5sec is a bit much lol

Thanks for your comment! About the difficulty we unfortunately we didn't have enough time left to make it more challenging that's why it's so easy. Next time we plan on using more time designing the game mechanics and less time doing mostly art/code!

Thanks! Glad you had fun :)

Nice concept, easy to understand and gameplay was fun!

Really liked the movement mechanic even though it took me a death to realize I could charge it (Maybe I should've read the instructions lol)

It was challenging and the color palette you used looked very good! Great job!

Playing in multiplayer was fun and I like how the level change depending on who is winning!

The difficulty ramp up was very enjoyable, easy at the beginning and challenging after a while. Also Nice use of the limited graphics on the pico-8, I like how you did the animals!
