Could you add android armv7 cpu support to the game? I can't install the game.

The game does not install on android. I extracted the apk from the zip file. But the app is not compatible.

Hey could you add armv7 support on android export? It would support more phones.

Can you add armv7 cpu support on android please?

Could you please add armeabi-v7a when exporting to android? i can't try it right now.

Could you guys please fix the game not working on android without vulkan support?

Too bad the game still does not want to install on my phone. :(

The app cannot be installed on this phone or something like that. Usually this happens when an app does not have armv7 support.

The app does not install on my phone. (redmi a1)

redmi a1, it does not suport vulkan (forward and mobile renderer in godot), also armv7.

Could you please use the compatibility renderer when building the apk, that will reach more devices. right now it does not install on my phone.

Does not launch on my phone

Since you use godot, you could just export it to linux, it should work like the windows version, also if you use godot 4, please  try to use the compatibility renderer as it have the broader support.
If you could just put the export on here and maybe mark it as untested, we could test it. I'm just suggesting though, it something i'd like to see, the game looks great.

can we get a linux version?

can't be installed through the itch app on linux.

Can't wait to try it

Can we get a linux version?

Does not install through the itch app. (linux version)

Can we get a linux version? That would be really appreciated.

Hey since you use unity can we linux users get a version too? that would be great! the game look amazing

No that's a unity game.

Would love if there was a linux build for the demo and final game. also i couldn't play the game yet because it's only on windows but would be great if there was a low spec option in game settings.

I see, it's alright, you can't really do anything about it since they are atlases or it would be much effort.
I think texture format is something to check if not already but I don't know much about it in unity.
Anyway i'll give it a try next time hopefully or maybe next games.
Thanks for taking time to answer and investigating.

It might be that, i'm using a laptop with 6gb ram and APU from ~2015 i think. i haven't tried on my Windows PC yet to see how it works.
Aren't 16K textures a bit excessive? Are they atlases?

Could you consider making a low-spec build with max limit of 4k textures (Easily done on unity build settings)

Hey, so what's the minimum requirements for this game? it just crashed my pc just after ending the second scene, when she goes to school i think.

I'm not sure if it's too much ram usage or something else, or the export doen't support opengl. have you been using 8k images? Scenes also takes long time to load.

It might not be a build problem as i don't have the lastest or best hardware.

I noticed that windowed mode didn't seem to work.

I also think advancing dialog with the space bar is better as it's more enjoyable than mouse press.

it's too bad i couldn't continue the story as it froze my computer, maybe this is only linux build problem ?

Can't wait to continue after the bug is fixed :)

Cool, Can't wait to try.
Can you check the Linux box in the linux build though, i can't download it like this through the itch app.

Linux build ?

Make sure you have added butler location to your environment variables like mentioned in setting up butler for windows

Is there a way to upload Godot games and serve them after i compress the wasm file and pck files to brotli?
I saw in the documentation that itch supported brotli as long as they ended with .br but i can't figure out how to make this work.

I compressed all files on the export to have a .br extension. i got the godot wasm to go from 37mb to 5mb and i'd like to serve that file instead of uncompressed one, or gzip compressed one.

I there a way to use brotli with butler maybe?

Did anyone succeed on something like this? is it only godot games that doen't work?

Android version does not work on Android 12.
Would love to have a Linux export too.

As suggested in the article given in the jam page, it would make sence to target a polished 10 minutes to 1 h  gameplay as it is not advised to make anything longer than 2h for purpose of the jam of course.  Depending on the experience and skills.

The download link is not working on both Linux builds.

The Game Data ".pck" is missing on Linux build
