Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing! :D

Nice work! Very happy that you enjoyed it, and yes - We're definitely looking to add more in the future!

Honestly, that means a lot to us, thanks so much for taking the time to play our entry and that's awesome that you enjoyed it as much as you did! Given that it's had a positive reception and we had a lot of fun putting this prototype together I think we'll definitely be expanding on the idea post-jam.

We'll probably keep this itch version updated as we test and try new things, so watch this space and thanks so much for your kind words again!

That's great to hear! We're really glad you enjoyed your time with our entry. I think we're for sure going to work on the game post-jam. We'll keep everyone updated with how it progresses, thanks again!

That's incredibly sweet of you to say! Thanks so much for taking the time to play our entry and leave your feedback - It's really nice to know that it connected with you. Hoping to develop further after the Jam now, thank you!

Nice work! This was quite a charming project!

I thought the game feel was really nice and the environment had a lot of character. One suggestion I might have for the visuals would be to adjust some of the values on the interactive elements in the lift so it was a little easier to read what was button/interactive part and what wasn't, but I particularly like the mechanical sounds of the lift. I think you nailed the acceleration and deceleration feel quite well and the"ding" of the bell on the floor stops was nice as well as the door opening and closing sound. That was a nice bit of validation to know you'd reached the floor successfully,

I think with some quality of life improvements and some more visual call-outs (like little sound line vfx from the phone and some more obvious lights from the floor numbers on the dial etc) could help rectify a couple of readability issues, but I could see this being a kind of lynch-ian lift simulator eventually.

Also maybe having a little magnetism when you get close enough to the each floor so you don't have to be pixel perfect could help a little too, but great work getting this done in time for the jam! Congrats!

Thanks so much for playing! It took me a while to work that out too (I'm the artist, not the designer hahaha), but that was an inspired choice from our Programmer and we're really glad you enjoyed it!

That's so kind of you to say! Thanks so much for taking the time to play our entry and we're thrilled that you enjoyed it so much!

Can't wait to see what people think! Keen as!

Thanks so much for playing and we're super glad you enjoyed it! That's a good suggestion regarding the split-screen balance. We'd definitely have a look at tweaking that element post-jam, thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for taking the time to comment and play! We really appreciate it and I'm glad you liked the tiles too!

Nice work! I was impressed with how much you got done in the 48hrs. I really liked the idea of the dice face determining jump height, it could be interesting to see that taken into a full game with slightly less variables than the 6 sided dice. Just so there's a little more control there. I liked the little collectible dice too, the level designs were pretty well thought out as well.
Could spend a bit more time getting the rolling/jumping to have a bit more weight later - the jumps did feel a little float-y for my taste, but the core of the idea is quite strong and it'd be cool to see it expanded upon later.

Perhaps rolling backgrounds/stages? Could be interesting to see environmental changes and a "journey" through different locations to fight different enemy types. Essentially a campaign mode with world bosses. Could supplement the Knight enemies for "limbs" or components to a bigger Boss enemy.
All in all, the game play loop/concept is solid so adding complexity to that system with a story and levels would be interesting for my personal preferences.
That being said, I'm just an internet stranger so take my thoughts with a heavy grain of salt! Hahaha!

Love it! Looks really nice and feature complete. Only critique I would have is the music is quite loud, apart from that, great work!

Thanks so much! Really appreciate the feedback! Yeah, it was our intention to zip up "portals" or rips, but we couldn't implement it in time unfortunately. I think we're gonna try and actually get that off the ground, but I agree! The song does slap - thank you! :D

PS. Nice work on your game! Looks super nice and I love the Lucha Libre aesthetic!

Hey! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment! Yep, I totally agree, we were a little too ambitious I think with some of our themes in the time we had (game jams lol). Initially those ziplines were meant to close portals and that was the main gameplay loop, but implementing it proved very difficult and we rushed to have something done in time. Again though, really appreciate you taking the time to comment and play! Thank you! :D
