For several months now, I've found that itch wouldn't run at all (I'm on Arch Linux). It just started a large white window and then crashed without any helpful error message. After spending some time googling I found someone with a similar problem tried launching with the --no-sandbox switch. I gave this a go and itch launches without problems now,

Unfortunately, however, I now have to run the app with this switch every time and I wondered if I could simply edit a config file somewhere and set it so that --no-sandbox is automatic? I've looked through all the config files I can find - including Preferences and preferences.json, but I could find any reference to sandboxing.

I suppose I could simply edit the .desktop file, but I'd rather do it "in app" if there's a way?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks - that makes sense.  Got it now.

I'm just playing around at the moment, but I can't figure out how to paint different textures on different blocks.  If I paint one block and then change the texture it changes on the block I just painted.  If I then select another block it is also painted with the same texture.  If I then select another texture both blocks are now changed to that texture.

I expect I'm missing something obvious, but I simply can't see how to paint different blocks with different textures...

I've yet to buy Asset Forge, so please forgive me if this is obvious to existing users, but I wanted to clarify this before purchasing.  All my games use 2D assets and, while I understand about being able to export to 2D, I'm curious about the importing of custom objects.

I can see from the guides that you simply have to make models in software like Blender - but I have zero experience of 3D modelling and the whole reason I'd want to use this software is to help me create useful assets despite my limitations!

Is it easy to create 3D objects?  Is it possible to create 2D objects for importing.

Also, am I correct in thinking that you can create your own textures? I tend to work largely in pixel art (again, because of my personal limitations in creating art and assets) so I'd want to be able to create assets and scenery that would fit with that aesthetic. Is this possible/easy in asset forge?
