You are correct; I get about 10x plays on my browser games than my downloadable ones, especially for shorter length games.

🎉 The Jam has concluded, thank you! 🎉
We had a lot of great entries this year and we want to do something a little special to celebrate. IceDev and the wonderfully talented SquirrelGirlDGT are putting together an awards video to celebrate all our winners.
It needs a bit more time in the oven to match the efforts that our skilled game developers put into all their games so we'll be announcing the winners on Friday, September 5th, 6:00 PM EDT on SquirrelGirlDGT's youtube channel
Or feel free to browse the results yourself.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy the video announcing the winners on the 5th!
Just a heads up, as one of our judges ran into this issue;
Vulkan: Meshes rendered incorrectly after AMD graphics card software update · Issue #109378 · godotengine/godot (github.com)
A current AMD driver update has a bug that makes geometry fail to render correctly if you are using the Forward+ renderer in a Godot engine game.
We'll do our best to work around this issue so judging isn't disrupted.
Currently new submissions are locked while judging is occurring. Are creators interested in allowing submitters to upload fixed versions for the public?
To do this we'd have to unlock the pages and then if you delete your original submission you'd be disqualified so creators would have to be careful about not doing that.
You can come in if you click this link. https://itch.io/jam/407441/add-game/3820420/4938364?token=kz1EPgw9Bvm93bJbwLppvv...
No problem unless its obvious you are cheating we'll still accept it, even if its a little late.
Solidaqua needs to click this link and then the game will be added. https://itch.io/jam/407441/add-game/3820417/4938364?token=6XJQ5shStvh9oT79xThGIh...
The jam is set to so you will be restricted from uploading new versions during the voting period.
I THINK (not 100% sure but I've seen other people do it) that you'd be able to upload an alternative set of files during that time.
Either way after voting is complete it's just like a normal game page and you can make as many changes to it as you like
I didn't feel that moderating a discord server was the best use of our resources. Nor should you be procrastinating on your entry 😉.
Feel free to post memes, support, and socialization here https://itch.io/jam/get-large-jam/topic/5197284/halfway-point-check-in or make a new topic for it.
In case you aren't aware, itch has begun reindexing adult NSFW games that don't take payment. This means that as long as you don't turn donations on for your Jam entry, people will be able to find it in search.
It's up to you if you want to do this as we'll still be posting your entries on Weight Gaming so they'll be searchable over there too.
We've added a section on Weight Gaming for keeping track of everyone's submission. Itch's deindexing of NSFW games will likely continue throughout the jam so we will use this forum section to allow everyone to find your entry. The Jam will still be conduction over here on itch unless they ban all NSFW games sometime in the future. If that happens we'll transition fully to using the Weight Gaming forum.
Icedev and I will be in charge of making the topics on Weight Gaming for you. You are welcome to post in them.
I don't think anyone posted the actual update in here;
The communication from itch https://itch.io/updates/update-on-nsfw-content
Update on NSFW content - itch.io
with the short notice we are just going to proceed as planned and hope for the best. We'll try and get permission to mirror things over on the WeightGaming forums as well.
Having trouble finding art assets to use?
Did you know that canceled VN "Forks: a Weight Gain Model" made all its assets free for use after work on the project was ended? Find them here!
Similarly the canceled VN "Comfy Companion" also made its art assets free for use. As referenced here. The download link no longer works however. I have rehosted them on MEGA
Finally, if you are using RPG Maker, you can use these template bodies made by various members of the community.

Feel free to discuss and share other assets here, but do make sure they are really free to use.
You may be able to use the RPG Maker MacOS Launcher to do this. https://github.com/m5kro/RPG-Maker-MacOS-Launcher/releases
The game doesn't really have an 'ending' as such no. It was intended to be a gameplay expression of being an immobile blob who can't do anything (including win the game) but maybe I missed the mark. Instead you should collect as many achievements as you'd like and then stop playing.
If you want to view the script you can find it in the data folder, in the Commands.json file. If I ever find the time I'll write a walk-through for people who want to find everything but are a bit stuck.
anywhere, really. I added after Spriteset_Base.prototype.removeVideo so line 320.
This does not fix videos being deactivated; you 'd have to write some additional code to track which ones were playing and restart them upon return to the Scene_Map.
I had to do this for a game jam so I just used GalV's MZ Load Common Event plug it to have a common event play my video upon return to the map screen. It continues from the same frame it left off on, as far as I can tell.
The plug in command sends loop and autounload as the strings "true" or "false", instead of true or false.
Find
PluginManager.registerCommand(pluginName, "load", args => {
Video.load(args.id, args.filename, {
volume: args.volume,
shouldMute: args.optionsMute,
shouldLoop: args.optionsLoop,
shouldAutoUnload: args.optionsAutoUnload
});
});
and replace it with
PluginManager.registerCommand(pluginName, "load", args => {
Video.load(args.id, args.filename, {
volume: Number(args.volume),
shouldMute: (args.optionsMute === 'true'),
shouldLoop: (args.optionsLoop === 'true'),
shouldAutoUnload: (args.optionsAutoUnload === 'true')
});
});
Trying to play a preloaded movie that was playing, after the game menu was closed and open causes a crash "Cannot set property '_parentID' of null"
I fixed this by adding the following code. in the plugin
const _Scene_Map_terminate = Scene_Map.prototype.terminate;
Scene_Map.prototype.terminate = function() {
_Scene_Map_terminate.call(this);
if (this._spriteset._videosContainer) {
this._spriteset._videosContainer.removeChildren();
}
};
If you use the Itch io app it will download the game and you can play it offline https://itch.io/app
