Fun little game. Took me a while to figure out how to buy the upgrades but once I noticed the instructions on the game page it was a lot more fun. I assume that the game would have expanded into the extra wards and there’d be more things to scale the business further had there been more time?

A really nice and fun game. Good level of challenge, though with a hefty dose of luck. In the end I didn’t find that I focused on the type weaknesses much though as their impact paled in comparison to getting a higher combo and more matches.

Great fit of sound, graphics, and gameplay.

Simple but clever gameplay. I like the included tutorial; the right information at the right pace.

Really enjoyable game! I foolishly didn’t read the instructions on the page, so it took me a while to figure out what the controls were. Once I stopped trying to use wasd it went much better. The music is perfect for the tone of the game.

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it! You aren’t the first to request faster play, so it might make sense to speed up the initial speed. Maybe a challenge mode where it just straight up starts going fairly fast.

Fun deck builder with ridiculous scaling potential. I think that I did overflow the Deba (it went down to 0 scales and x0 effect) but I’m still waiting for the 50k fish to get scaled :D

Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately I left sound and effects to the end and got just the bare minimum in there. Something to improve on next time!

Neat little game, and I always appreciate phaser games for being web native and snappy. I’m amused by how quickly you get kicked out of the game to the loading screen when you die :)

That’s a good idea. I’ll add that to the list of things to do once the jam judging is over.

Thanks! Are you suggesting an animation when they tilt rather than the single-frame transition?

Thanks for playing! A pause button is such an obvious feature that I completely did not think of. I appreciate the feedback.

Ah, it looks like Reigns predates it by about a year. I learned something today :)

Regardless, I like what you’ve done with it and how it feels like a more complete world.

Nice little game. It took me a bit to figure out how to use the lightning strikes to protect the sheep but I got there. I really like the graphics and general feel, and would love to see this expanded with a few more things that can be done to shape the world the animals live in.

Cute and fun game. I really like the art style. I got absolutely crushed by the precipitation and never really got into a smooth avalanche after that, but it felt like a decent difficulty balance. Well done!

Yeah, that makes sense. It should be much more obvious when the scales will tilt and also when they’re about to tilt far enough to end the game.

This is a neat spin on the Sort the Court idea, but it really brings more life into the world around it. A really good fit for the theme of the gamejam too!

Nicely done. It feels polished and smooth. I did manage to get stuck by having the ball sit on top of the wood by the paddles, but honestly that kind of made it more entertaining.

Thanks! Music is definitely on the list. As for difficulty level, are you thinking of an option to make the scales tip easier? If so, that would be pretty easy to toss in and could definitely ramp up the challenge.

Fun game and great aesthetics. I didn’t make it very far because I’m not great at platformers and kept failing to jump when I meant to, but it looks like the levels are well thought out.

It took me a little while to figure out how to eliminate the fakes (I hope I’m eliminating the right ones!) and to rack up a nice score, but I’m not sure how to get rid of the bug without having my score drop down to 1.

A nice quick game, thanks.

I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Good feedback; I think that what’s needed is that when the blocks start to fall faster that there’s a pause and a visual & auditory queue that the speed is changing. I’ll add that in once the gamejam wraps up.

Both really good points. Once this game jam is fully wrapped up I’ll put those in!

The axolotl is so cute!
