Really great ! Well done, so much polish for a game done in 4 days !

I must say tho, that the game is very hard. At some point I just got stuck and could not progress because I could not have any more resources as they were counting down faster than I could gather them… I wish there was a bit of time in which we could take a breather and be able to build in peace…

That is insanely fast… ggs

All fixed with 15 seconds to go !

This was very well polished, congrats! The music is nice, and I like the SFX a lot!

At first I didn’t understand that you could go up and down the rocket with the mouse. The screws were also not that intuitive, I didn’t understand that you had to click them multiple times. But other than that this game was a blast and I loved solving the puzzles :)

Incredible game ! I don’t know how you managed to pull off something so polished in only 96 hours!!

Really well made, my only nitpick is that the music doesn’t loop.

OH also the game is really funny, made me chuckle a few times, well done !

Sadly this game does not run on my computer :< I would have loved to rate it…

WOAHHHHHH

Crazy good quality for a game jam! The dialog is funny, the audio is nice, the graphics are very well polished and the gameplay is fun.

I also didn’t expect to find and even play a go roguelike anywhere! GGs !!

Thank you !

I played your game and left a comment :))

Simple and cute game, with so many genres mixed together, nice job !

The victory music is really lovely, I wish I could have heard it longer on level completion :<

Just a few nitpicks, one of the jumps on the platformer is really hard, as you bang your head on the platform above.

The 5,4,3,2,1 countdown sometimes hides what you need to do :/

But other than that I had a blast playing ! Congrats on making this game !

Super fun !! I loved rushing my rocket (and then failing to reach the moon :’)

I got super close but never got there as it kept veering sideways.

Otherwise no comment, nice choice on the music :)

Ggs :)

Yeah you need some pretty crazy pathing to get a very good time !

As for the elevator concerns, you’re not the only one… I probably should have had the same door textures as in other places !

In retrospective it makes sense, all previous buttons were on the timeline as well! Probably just me being a bit blind or dumb :’)

Another suggestion could be to shade it to make it look like it pops out of the timeline?

Oof, sorry you got stuck :/

I could have made the escape a bit clearer… There is the fuel port which prompts you for interaction, but not much else

To escape you have to do all the preparations in a single loop, I could have also made that clearer…

I’m glad you enjoyed the rest of the game :)

That would be cool :) I’ll be on the lookout!

Very nice timeloop mechanic :)

The sound effects, art and music all contribute to an atmosphere I am quite fond of, reminds me a bit of OMORI :))

Nice puzzle pacing, and overall great game !

Nice game :)

I found the level transition screen to be very slow, which was kind of painful when having to restart.

Otherwise nice puzzles, you could probably extend this with more distractions, perhaps the counter could also just skip numbers ? I can see potential in this :)

Nice sounds too !!

Cute game about launching a rocket into space :)

Very short, I love the cute pixel isometric graphics, well done for them :)

At first I thought that the “launch” button was not a button, but had just emphasis, maybe it could be somewhere else than the timeline itself ?

Hidden gem ! Very cute, cozy, I love the art, the audio :)

Time as a healthbar is so ingenious, well done :)

I wish there were checkpoints… This game is otherwise really well made, I enjoyed it :) The music is really nice.

I love effects. The disco one took me by surprise and made me laugh. All the effects are really well executed and I can see that you put a lot of effort into them :) Good job !

I always love this genre of dying => progress games. This is really well executed, the graphics are nice and the 8 bit sounds complement them well. The mechanic progression is well executed as well.

I just wish the reset button was more accessible, as pressing escape exits fullscreen in browser, so to reset you’d have to ESC -> ESC -> Restart -> Fullscreen, which was a pain.

It was also a bit frustrating to lose all progress when you died after the counter hit 0, I wish it didn’t reset progress, and let you carry on without placing a new corpse

First off I’m gonna thank you for adding a timer chooser at the start. A lot of the games I have tested have always felt too tight and had too short a timer, so here I could at least have time to properly enjoy the game :)

I had some difficulty exiting the computer… Once you quit it still won’t let you move, until you spam a few buttons at least.

Otherwise great game and congrats on finishing on time :)

The music is really nice, so are the sound effects. They’re quite pleasant, so they definitely help the game feel nice to play.

I found it hard to read some numbers, so I sometimes clicked on the wrong ones. I guess it’s mostly the VHS’ shader’s fault. Maybe you could have made the numbers bigger?

Nice take on the theme, literally counting down :) I got “all the way” to stage 9 (yeah it’s not very far…)

The theme of the jam being tied to the original story’s idea was pretty smart. I loved reading that book, and I think you nailed what Samuel Beckett was going for with his original story.

The art for your game is gorgeous, it is really really well made. (I can’t help but notice the game description does not have full credits of assets used, which is a shame because your artist(s) cooked so hard)

I liked the level select screen a lot, it was very on point.

The platforming was a bit too frustrating at times. The timing aspect threw me off a lot, because it was often very tight timings that were not easily met :/

Great game nonetheless :)

Nice speedrun lel. I don’t really see how I could make the game bigger without having to scrap the current level that I have. But I am glad you see potential in my game, tysm :)

Glad you liked the sound design, this was my first time making SFX during a jam and I had a blast :)

Perhaps I had no more bullets when I was looking for the indicator

I liked how the countdown carried between rooms, that it pretty ingenious :)

I would have loved to see how many bullets I had left / dash indicator, as I would sometimes die due to not having either available (you could blame that also on a skill issue on my part)

I missed the bus :<

Good game ! I see someone else had the idea of a rocket :)

I enjoyed building my rocket, altho I didn’t understand how to earn the beefier pieces

Very nice highscore game ! It was a bit too difficult for me (Especially since you have to go and collect the spare time that you gain, I kept colliding with other enemies which prevented me from going to take them) The visuals were awesome !

Great game and congrats on your first godot game :))

Fun platformer turned bullet hell :) I like the 2bit aesthetic, it was cute :) Nice artstyle, I loved the little twists the character does when jumping

I loved the intro video as the tutorial, made learning how to play way more fun than just a boring wall of text :)

I let in some anomalies and I still don’t know why they were anomalies in the lift with me :<

Good game :)

(the game was very unsettling, which I guess is waht you were after, good job with that :)

Really cute gem :)

I enjoyed playing through this, altho I got confused by the control scheme: a tutorial would’ve been nice! (I still haven’t found the punch button) The story is funny, it made me laugh out loud :) Good job on your jam game! The clown part was unexpected 😭 I went back for a second time to get a proper event!

Extremely cosy game, probably my favorite out of all the games I have played for now :) The story was cute and even tho I was unable to get the timing right, it definitely made my day a little more perfect :) Thanks for this game !!

I’ll preface this comment by saying I suck at timing and/or rhythm games

I kept seeing this on the gmtk discord, and wanting to play it :) This looks and feels very polished. The music is awesome, the design is awesome. The turning notch goes a bit fast (for me), and I found the icons on the bars hard to read on my laptop :/ Otherwise really good game, and I enjoyed it loads :)

good job on your finish time (that’s faster than me honestly, ggs!) Yeah I never figured out how to get the lift to be more indicative, maybe I should have added a door to make it more visual when you could enter/leave it

Counting down the number of pieces ! Really fun game ! The music is a super vibe, I love it!!!!!! Really cool puzzle mechanics, and I can only wish to see this with more levels in the future :)

I really like the spin on the theme (with the name) very clever ! The story is funny, the art is cute, the music is great, this is a really good game overall I just wish there was a bit more forgiveness with the vision of the vampires as they can kinda see you out of the blue. Just gotta say that my 3AM eyes were not able to read that font :<

Funny dialog, great polish on the game, congrats !

I am rich now. This is cool, altho I can see you ran out of time :/ This game, with some polish, could get insanely fun. Gives me hotline miami vibes.

Very smooth game ! I liked the puzzles, I only wish there were more of them !

Game was really fun to play ! I only wish the reset button was a bit more accessible to use, as I got stuck very often (The puzzles ended up being VERY VERY hard !) I like the concept of pushing boxes until their uses go down to zero, very creative :)
