Not sure I fully understand what I'm meant to be doing. I got through the first level fine, but then on the second I seemed to fail for no adequately explained reason. I thought the objective was to avoid the incoming shots with both ships at once? But it failed me several times without my ships taking any hits.
I'm thoroughly confused!
Oh - I have no idea why this would happen. I didn‘t have another device for playtesting and on mine there weren‘t any bugs i noticed.
There are only two fail conditions: Getting hit (precisely when the hit marker turns to a cross and one ship‘s hitbox collides with that tile) and crashing ships into each other.
If you are sure it‘s none of the two then there has to be a bug i didn't catch - probably related to gui scaling or something along these lines.
Maybe the ships collided then? I'm not sure now. It's always worth communicating to the player why they failed, though.
Great job that was challenging but fun!
loved the art and concept. really fun game to play
Loved the art and concept, and had a blast (literally) playing it. It was quite hard the further you went, as you have to keep track of every single one of your ships. Audio tied in really well, and the game loop kept me hooked. ggs
