Thank you for your compliments!

Yes, I spend an unreasonable amount of time on the elevator doors!

I had a restart button at first but hadn’t programmed it to reset all the statistics, which is why I ended up removing it.

I’ve struggled to come up with ways to make a restart easy to implement in cases where player stats get changed, but I just realised that instantiating a new stat sheet each time would be easy to do. So thank you for helping me come up with a potential solution :p

Thank you for playing and for your feedback, it helps out a lot for future improvements!

Strange that the elevator interactions don’t always work. It might be a hitbox issue. Regardless, I’ll keep it in mind for future projects.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing and for your compliments :)

Thanks for trying the game and for your feedback!

Happy to hear you like the upgrades. As for the difference between the two elevators; there were meant to be different floors which would be randomly picked as a set of 4 floors you’d go through when picking an elevator.

While those floors were programmed and functional, something ended up breaking near the end which is why I disabled it so the game could at least be played. It’s unfortunate but it was the only solution I could think of 30 minutes before the deadline x.x

Again, thank you for playing!

Wasn’t expecting voice lines, I liked them. Music was well made, although I would’ve liked some variety in the looping thereof. As you’ve stated, controls are easy to understand. Also allowing WASD aside from the arrow keys might be nice next time.

The levels are fine, most jumps are makable, although clearly not all of them are. Some levels/level parts did feel unnecessarily long though, where there were no enemies (at least non that could reach me), no parkour parts, no pickups nor any interactables. In my opinion, those parts could’ve been left out.

Overall, it was fine. Tutorial was a short and sweet. Well done!

Quite a fun game. At first I had to find out why I was losing randomly, but then I understood it was a timer above my head. Graphics are simple, which works well for this type of game. Audio is great love the music too. None of those got annoying while playing.

The controls were alright, but didn’t feel fantastic as I often times couldn’t move how I wanted to, despite knowing it was possible.

Levels are visually simple, no fluff. It makes it very charming in my opinion.

Overall, well made!

Fun little game, I managed to escape! Since I’m playing on my laptop however I didn’t fully understand the buttons to use, it took a bit of looking around to find the controls. It would’ve helped if those were accessible elsewhere, even if just in the description of your game.

The narrative nicely integrates the theme of the jam and considering it’s a jam game I do feel like it’s pretty polished.

Well made!

Thanks!

Yeah.. The collectible spawning directly under the feet of the characters was a bit unfair, didn’t have time to change that unfortunately. The multiple lives lost for a single collectible is also pretty unfair.

Will keep this in mind for my future games :) Thank you!

Thank you for playing!

I can totally imagine how being more intentional with inputs can be more strategic, I’ll be sure to keep this in ind for my future game making!

Thanks for your feedback :D

Thanks! And thank you for your feedback :)

Thanks for playing and thank you for your feedback!

Perhaps the backgrounds weren’t the best idea, I’ll certaintly keep it mind for my following games! And I agree with you on the feel the sfx gives on a successful pickup, will keep this in mind as well :)

Cute game!

The controls felt a little out of my hands but I was able to make it through a lot of levels!

If you find the time to, feel free to check out our game as well!

Thank you for playing!

Took a little time until I understood not to instantly lose the first loop, but after that I became one with the loopcrafting.

I experienced quite a bit of lag, but still had a great time playing!

Wonderfully made!

If you find the time to, please check out our game as well!

Thank you for playing!

Ah! You found the cheese! 🧀

Hehe, thanks for playing!

Thank you so much for sharing! Glad to hear your kids enjoyed it too!

I totally agree with you on the severity of the punishment and progression speed, I will keep it mind for my future game making :D

Thank you for playing!

Heehee thank you ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

Thank you for playing and thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for playing :)

Thank you!

I can see how the randomness made the gameplay feel dragged out, I’ll keep it in mind for my future games :)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

A very cute game! Had a good time and managed to unlock all sushi types!

Missed the sound effects but it didn’t take away the cuteness from the cats.

If yo uever get the chance I’d appreciate it if you’d check out our game as well :)

Fun game!

I like that the builds persist between days, but I do wish there was a life counter of some sort so I don’t instantly lose.

Had a good time!

I am surprised by how challenging it was, had a good time though!

Survived 70 seconds.

Feel free to check out our game when you get the chance to do so :)

I like that it’s a simple minimalistic puzzle game :)

It’s quite challenging as well!

When you have the time, feel free to check out our game too!

It’s a fun puzzle game, had a good time!

I can see this game being expanded with more spells, artefacts and turning into a roguelite of some sort.

It could benefit from a speed up button and spell switching (rather than going straight back to the spellbook) but those features are extra’s.

Fun game!

Check out our game if you ever find the time :)

A fun game that kept me entertained for quite a few minutes, made it it wave 8!

Interesting that you can damage yourself as well, made for a fun surprise. Love getting the extra saw upgrade, perhaps some other saw shapes or rocket boosted saws would be fun too!

Great entry!

Thank you for playing!

Yeah, the additional Mousebears seems to add quite a challenge. It’s definitely the memchanic that could take another look at by us.

Appreciate the feedback!

I see you wanted to work on your UI design, I really like what you did!

It’s simple but it works for the game you made. The lovely art style definitely adds a lot as well as it gives off a cute feel with all the bright colours.

If you get the chance too please check out what we made as well! It’s a short game :)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

We also had a rhythm game in mind while developing, but it ended up without a real music track or paced pickup placements unfortunately. The second friend spawning was something that was top of the list for reworks but we ended up not having the time to do so, instead it added a challenge that was visually difficult to keep track of at times.

Regardless, I’m happy to hear you had a good time!

He will continue to grind until the universe turns to dust, as it is the fate of the Mousebear.

Thank you for playing!

I like the minimalist and relaxing atmosphere of your game.

The goal of the game is a bit unclear at the first level though, perhaps a tutorial of some kind would help. The timer seems a bit unnecessary (especially if you want to keep it relaxing, don’t add stress mechanics!) and being able to run the same path twice but backwards as a solution seems unnecessary as well.

Path laying puzzle games often have a hard time making good puzzles I feel, perhaps looking for a mechanic that changes the way you think about laying paths would help.

I like the music and the ability to quickly lay paths and undo them with a simple mouse drag.

Nice job!

Cute art!

The turn-into-a-loop mechanic does feel a bit unnecessary for the game though, as you can just jump over enemy projectiles, but it does end und fitting the theme.

Such a cute puzzle game! Those tend to be the best ones imo.

Love the art and music too!

Interesting puzzle game!

It’s simple but it works fine. I do wish the “star” (the first mechanic of dragging) was a little snappier, and perhaps that there was a button to instantly respawn all the photons.

Good work!

There are some good puzzles in there! The mechanic is fun and simple yet makes you think about what the solution could be.

Artwork is cute and relatable and the music fits this style of game nicely.

Had fun playing!

When you get the chance to, feel free to check out our game as well :D

Had a fun time, music goes hard as well and I love it!

A simple game with few controls, yet provides a challenge in orientation. The upgrade mechanic does seem a bit slapped on, perhaps for a future version, providing other upgrades could make that more interesting.

For a jam game it’s very well made!
