Tried a couple of ships and the differences actually feel meaningful. Waves get pretty intense near the end, surprised me in a good way

Aetheric Tides
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
Aetheric Tides is a single-player deckbuilding roguelike set in a fading arcane world. Travel between procedural regions, fight intelligent monsters, and watch your deck slowly become a mirror of the choices you make.
📢 v1.01 update— Endless mode, alchemy stress‑tests, and some new toys
Hey folks, quick update on the build — v1.01 is live
🌀 Endless Mode
You can now pick Endless right from the main screen. One life, biomes loop forever, enemy essence scales with stage. This isn’t meant to be a “survive forever” thing — it’s basically a sandbox for testing the alchemy system.
⚗️ Why Endless matters
Alchemy now works with no limits in Endless. Three cards in → one stronger card out. And yes, if you keep doing it, your character becomes hilariously overpowered. That’s intentional — I need to see where the system breaks, which combos explode, and which ones fall flat.
So if you’re the kind of person who sees a crafting button and thinks “what if I press it 27 more times,” this is your moment.
🏘️ Village every 4 stages
- Shop with 3 cards
- Druid shrine where you can sacrifice HP / essence / a card → get a guaranteed rare
🌊 Hall of Tides
Local leaderboard under the Start button. Top 50 runs, sorted by stage. Good for spotting which builds are actually climbing and which ones die early.
💾 Save migration
Old saves auto‑migrate (defaulting to classic mode).
📦 Bonus
There’s a single offline HTML build in the archive — double‑click and it just runs.
Hello! We’re a small indie studio dedicated to crafting compact, polished experiences. Our latest game is a 560 KB browser title inspired by the demoscene — the culture that taught us that limits can spark brilliance.
From Farbrausch’s 64k intros to Conspiracy’s legendary productions, we’ve always admired how much emotion can fit into such tiny packages.
We’re preparing the final release and sharing the near‑complete build with a handful of early players. If you enjoy being part of the shaping process and spotting things before they reach the wider audience, we’d be glad to have you try it.
The concept is incredibly compelling — watching AI‑driven nations expand, collide, and evolve across an infinite number of worlds feels like observing a living simulation rather than a traditional strategy game. The map system is especially interesting: each nation is represented by a distinct color, and the way these color‑fields behave almost like physical particles gives the entire experience a unique visual identity. It’s both abstract and readable, which is a rare balance to achieve. Impressive work !
What a pinball ! The table design itself is incredibly stylish. The geometry feels deliberate, with curves and angles that echo the alien aesthetic theme. The materials give the whole table a premium, futuristic look. Even the smallest details, like micro‑animations on the bumpers or subtle distortion effects near high‑energy zones, add depth and polish. It’s clear the art team approached this not as a retro homage but as a full visual reinvention. Great job !
great job ! What impressed me most is the environmental storytelling. The backgrounds aren’t just pretty — they communicate the world’s logic. Pipes twist into the distance, gears rotate with purpose, and every platform or walkway looks like it was engineered by someone in this universe. The lighting adds so much atmosphere: warm lantern glows, cold metallic reflections, and soft anime‑style shading that ties everything together. It’s a world that feels handcrafted, not procedurally assembled.
