Once I got into the project, it took less than 10 minutes. It was a single line of code I had to modify. I just added logging to find out how to filter it out, and then did that. I used Unity for a very short period years ago, but I seem to have remembered most of the basic functionality, which made it easier.

Alright, I got it fixed! Opened a PR in GitHub, and it works fine for me. Would be good if other people tried it, made sure it didn’t mess anything up.

I’ve tested the latest version, and it appears to not have been fixed. I can attempt trying to fix it, although I’m not too experienced with Unity.

I’m also on Mac Apple Silicon

Fairly self explanatory. It would be nice if I could just save it to a specific location rather than having to move it afterwards.

That stopped working for me a while back… Glad it still works for you however!

It does correctly move the cursor, however it also types the broken character.

Itch app can fix this, however some people (like myself) don’t feel like installing it.

Two possible things could be happening. The first one can be fixed by doing the following. After extracting:

  1. Open Terminal app.
  2. cd Downloads or whichever folder you used to download
  3. xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine Digital-Logic-Sim.app

After that, you should be able to run. If you still can’t, try the following:

chmod +x Digital-Logic-Sim.app/Contents/MacOS/Digital-Logic-Sim

and all errors should be fixed. If anyone else on Mac needs support, I can help.

Fun game. When is Pangaea going to come out?

The coding system could absolutely be improved. I could have done psuedo code, but felt that would take too long. There are also some bugs that I didn’t see, which might be part of your issue.

Enjoyable game. My main complaint is not being able to understand what the skills mean and what to press for them.

I enjoyed the game a lot! Very impressive for 48 hours. My only complaint is that I can’t watch the explosion.

Thanks. I’m probably going to update it in the future. There are some bugs that I missed, and will need to fix.

In terms of visuals, it’s greatly stylized. It’s a very enjoyable game in my opinion, but the only thing it’s lacking is auditory ambiance. I hear some, but it’s very quiet, and doesn’t have things like footsteps.

I believe Pyinstaller could work for this.

I deleted your other post, because it was a duplicate. Also, I’m not sure what you mean. Can you explain more?

Thanks! Glad you played it!

The largest issue I could find has to do with screen size. It makes the character move slower and jump less on large screens, and vice versa.

I believe the files are mac only, but I could play it, and it was decent. I think hotkeys would be nice for the cars, and making the money counter larger would be helpful as well.

It’s a good game, but for one, it requires Python to be installed, and secondly, it seems to end a round or something for no clear reason.

Also, it’s quite short, but it is enjoyable in my opinion.

It’s good, but one issue - “lose” is spelled “loose”

The game is very confusing to me, and I’m not sure how to play it. Also, there are a good few of odd looking bugs. The main bug is where you play a game, leave, then play again.

I installed Scratch, but this game seemed pretty buggy to me. The score didn’t increase at all, even though I followed the instructions.

More length would be nice.

This is a lot of fun, but extremely short.

This is good for a first game jam. It is my first as well, but your game is pretty fun to play. Also, I’ve never heard of Tic-80. It seems pretty interesting though.

This is an amazing game! The game does end a bit earlier than it should, but it’s understandable. This is incredible for just 48 hours.

I mean, it’s decent. The gameplay works well, and fits the theme. Honestly, my only issue with it is the background. It’s just kind of cluttered.

Honestly, I think this game is going to get rated terribly. I’ve never done a game jam, or even really shared my games. Even just submitting a game is enough for me.

Does it use actual songs? Because occasionally it will sound like songs that I know. I think I recognized the Harry Potter theme and Big Shot.
