Hello and welcome to 9th devlog for our game: Little Fields!

Little fields is an relaxing sandbox game about farming. In this game you are a small farmer guy and your goal is to make money by growing crops. For the money you earn, you can upgrade your tools, or buy new seeds. But be prepared, because pests can ruin your crops!

There's what we've added to the game:

1. Moles and shovels

Shovels can be used to defeat moles and remove their molehills!

2. Falling logo animation in menu

Game's logo falls and bounces a few times

3. Ambients system

Ambient sound (birds singing etc.) is played from time to time

4. Collisions for entities

Now they can't walk through a wall 😅

5. Recorded new sounds

 - dirty break

 - tool break

 - shovel hit

6. Locusts

This new pest multiplies when eating!

7. Storages -  chests and barrels

Now player can store his items!

8. New texture for water

_____________________

9. Insect swatter

Player can use it to fight with locusts or flies

Welcome to 8th devlog for LIttle Fields! 

What's this game?:

Little fields is an relaxing sandbox game about farming. In this game you are a small farmer guy and your goal is to make money by growing crops. For the money you earn, you can upgrade your tools, buy more seeds or even fertilizers. Get redy for pest attacks!

1. Changing background in the menu

The background is changing now every 10s with animation

2. Game's credits

When player clicks the authors button, game's credits animation starts

3. Anti pest spray

Player can use spray to fight with pests

_________________________

4. New sounds:

 - item pickup

 - button click

 - error sound

5. Shop

_________________________

6. Selling mechanic

Now the player can sell his crops

_________________________

7. Fields require powling after harvest

The player must do the plowing after the harvest. Otherwise, plants growth time is divided by 0.1

8. Plants are withering

The player must harvest the crops in time

Little fields is an relaxing sandbox game about farming. In this game you are a small farmer guy and your goal is to make money by growing crops. For the money you earn, you can upgrade your tools, buy more seeds oreven fertilizers. Get redy for pest attacks!

There's how game looks now:

What we have done this month:

  - soil sterilization mechanics 

  - fertilizer 🌱

  - sounds: walk, fertilizer and use, hard block

     break, organic break. All sounds were

     recorded by our sfx designer! 🔊

  - snails, which can eat your crops! 🐌

  - berry bushes 🫐

  - carrots 🥕

  - particles system 💥

  - items can lie on the ground, and the player can

     collect them by walking into them.

  - player is aslo able to throw out items from his

     inventory

  - game saving and loading system 💽

  - world border 🚧

  - main menu

For the money you earn you can buy more durable and efficient farming tools.

The game offers a large map just waiting to be developed.

At the moment game looks like:

This month we added 🧩:

 - crop growth system 🌱

 - animated holding item info

 - structures, for now programmer has made 2          lakes 

 - better collision detections 💥

 - better drops system

 - watermelons 🍉

 - remade graphics for fields and wheat 🎨

 - background soundtrack 🎵

 - entities system, for now we have only flies 🪰

 - bucket and watering mechanics 🪣💦

Welcome to 5th devlog for our game "Little Fields". 

This devlog is special because the game is alredy 50% complete! 😀

Okay, but many will ask: what's this game?

And there's an answear:

Little Fields is an relaxing sandbox game about farming:

In this game you are a small farmer guy and your goal is to

make money by growing wheat or any other of many crops.

for the money you earn you can buy more durable and efficient farming tools.

The game offers a large map just waiting to be developed.

At the moment game looks like:

This month we added ➕:

 - Block placing system

 - Tools: hoes and pickaxes 🛠️

 - Fields that player can make by using hoe 🌾

 - Rocks: they can be breaked only with pickaxes 🪨

- Player can't walk through a rock(items with an

    "unwalkable" flag) 

- Tools can get damaged 

 - Player is holding an item in his hand🖐️

 - Visual fixes

 - Fixed an error in intro

The game is now completed in 50%!!!  🥳🥳🥳

Hello! I just started developing a new game "Litte Fields" (this name may be changed).

As the name suggests it will be a game about farming.

The game will offer a large map on which the player will be able to build his own farm.

The player will be able to sell crops and use the money earned to buy better and more efficient farming tools.

For now, I made a world generator and player movement.
