neat game; but enemies being able to mess with your wheel in an unavoidable fashion feels a bit rough– blind ("Stare") and teleport ("Swallow") being my biggest points of displeasure. The latter has resulted in some unavoidable damage from a basic attack, in fact.

reversing spin direction ("Ram") is a bit quick to react to, but at least you can tell it's gonna happen. the "Swallow" (teleport) doesn't have any indicator to where you're going to be teleported; so for all you know you'll get 5 frames with no wind-up to defend against a Bite afterwards.

there's a few combos that can trivialize the hell out of the game. First run was a winning run, because i got Flash Sale + Bulk Repackaging, the two of which essentially say "Condense all categories into one category. Then, set highest category to 0."

Correct. Same goes for Poisoner, iirc.

that feels like a worse Pooka.

"adjacent villagers cannot share information", how would that work without being instantly obvious? you'd just look for two people who are saying nothing and spot who's between them.

...that, and, corruption; you can at least still used a corrupted's info in a roundabout way. this is just "nuh uh".

It's also possible that 4 is corrupted. Plague Doctor is guaranteed to poison corrupt SOMEONE.

Though, aside from that weird edge case, you're probably right.

Each night refreshes the Active abilities of people. Judge can happen twice with this; as can anyone else. Maybe Slayer is exempt, idk for sure

it froze

(1 edit)

with help of a sponge, i was trying to merge Mold and Dirt clumps (9 pieces total, 7 Mold) and it was all fine until i submitted and it bricked. not a softlock– the only thing still existing is just the music.

music is very good btw.

edit: my bad it wasn't the sponge, i had the earthworm

Awesome game!

My one complaint would just be that the achievements you don't have yet have no clues on how to get them. Even something vague– like the titles vaguely fitting them– would be very nice to have.

No other issues though.

oh that's new

man i just got that c-rank too

nevermind. i got a bunch of 52 runs and then finally hit a 57.

awesome game! quick question: HOW MANY GODDAMN NOSES DO I GOTTA SORT TO GET MY DAMN T-RANK!?

i too have this issue :(

man i love this ornage numbskull and his fake-but-maybe-real-but-maybe-fake boyfriend.

the corniness is definitely intentional.

(shaky voice) you know the writing's good when the game tells you there's a slow, inevitable, and painful death, and the death STILL makes you feel really bad!!

the "coin" item seems broken.

not as in "yo this thing is insanely overpowered"

it doesn't seem to do its gimmick

at this point it's getting ridiculous (I replaced the files with a fresh copy of the game, it's... not any better)

honestly could just be a me issue at this point

uhhhhh (and yes, i HAVE gotten the "minimum stat requirement" rule, in fact that's what the infraction is from -_-)

i know i'm hella late but. this is awesome dude

not to mention you can press space or right arrow and it advances dialogue too

i know it's not been updated in a year but. there's a rule that requires me to look at people's stats...

there's no explanation on how to do that. I'm sorta just... guessing, for a lot of these.

guessing wrong, more often than not.

If you get lucky with the map gen, yeah.

This comment will spoil some things that you could discover on your own, read at ya own risk.

There's a lot of predictable stuff that's neat:

* Guardians cannot spawn directly on the dragon's axes (as in plural axis) (Guardians are the 7-power guys)

* Only one Guardian spawns per quadrant (Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, Southeast), and every quadrant contains one Guardian

* Rats will face in the direction of the Rat King (until the Rat King is slain).

* Beholders will obscure tiles, but the more obscured tiles you have, the easier it is to know where the Beholder is hiding (as it's just two tiles away in all cardinal directions, one tile directly diagonal; it blocks 12 tiles while it's active).

* Gargoyles (4-power guys) always spawn in pairs, directly facing each other. Every time you can be certain about marking a 4, there is always at least one other 4 adjacent to it. You can see their facing direction in their sprite, which will show upon either something like the vision orb revealing them, or them being revealed by you killing them.

* There is always a Minotaur (6-power guy) in one of the eight tiles surrounding a chest. There is always a chest in one of the eight tiles around the Minotaur, too. You also can see the Minotaur react to you opening its chest, and, in the event two chests spawn within the radius of one Minotaur, you can actually use that to know that there is a second chest to begin with, and by extension a second Minotaur.

* The Gnome seems to, from my experience, be uncatchable until you have revealed every empty tile.  If something should reveal the tile the Gnome inhabits, the Gnome stands on top until you manually reveal the tile.

* The Mine Lord (10 power guy) always spawns in a corner. No exceptions. This actually means that if you can be certain that the Mine Lord is not in 3 of the 4 corners, you guarantee he's in the 4th, which means you don't need to spend time finding your way over to that corner and can instead just click the corner square on its own.

trying to beat this on my laptop was a mistake. I defo need a legit mouse for something this fast, Frickbear's shoulda learned me that by now ._.

sick game btw
