Thank you for taking your time to give me your honest critique. I fully agree with the subject being sensitive.
The game aims to discuss many themes, such as abuse, false imprisonment, dependence, isolation, perception, the subconscious, war, etc. Personally, as a developer, I wanted to create an experience rather than a game. An experience where it's not just the typical scary mansion with supernatural events. However, in retrospect, I am sure to say that tackling such a trope as a first attempt at psychological horror was not the best idea.
There are myriads of things that could've been portrayed in a more careful manner. Lastly, there are many things I wish to learn in the future about game design, and I hope this experience won't define me as a future creator.
Since this has become sort of popular,

Hello!
I just published my second indie game "Shrek's Basement" and it's supposed to be a silly game but still has some horror aspects to it. The main "story" is that Shrek stole your onions, and you have to look through his basement, which consists of 3 layers, to find them. Meanwhile, you're hunted by Shrek himself and have to manage stamina and health.
Now, I would love some feedback on the game's page and on the game itself. (Shrek's model is already being addressed) For example, if the stamina system needs improvement, if the visuals do, etc. I would like to know what I need to improve on!

And maybe check out the trailer as well!
STORY
Shrek has taken all your onions and has hidden them in his basement. So you do what every normal person would and decide to sneak into Shrek's house and venture down his basement. You pull out your video recorder to capture what might happen. But down there Shrek is already waiting for you...
ABOUT
- This game is a sequel to my first game "Escape The Shrek". However, "Shrek's Basement" is much more refined and features better gameplay and quality.
- The game builds atmosphere using a VHS film aesthetic and uses said effect to intensify the horror.

Escape The Shrek has relaunched! All of the bugs causing crashes have been fixed and game works fine now!
Description:
Shrek has kidnapped and locked you in a house far away from civilisation. You have to escape Shrek as you don't know what plans he has for you (they are certainly not pleasant). Can you escape?
In this horror-themed escape game you have to find a way to flee from Shrek as he wants to use you for his projects. "Escape The Shrek" features different interesting gameplay mechanics and various areas to explore. This game works very well for a Lets Play!
