lol, that's the beginning! if you go into that alley on the left, you can wall jump between the walls onto that ledge on the other side (and then back the other way). i agree about the low poly hehehe

love ittt! i really like how chill the game was; just looking at some cool art and watching doki go crazy. it has that rpg maker charm that i personally love. i loved seeing the different concepts of each card and the funny little descriptions (although the text was very small and hard to read!). i thought it was a really cool concept and the art is obviously amazing!
i enjoyed this. the music made it surprisingly emotional. i felt sad after popping the first balloon without thinking, when it didn't seem to do anything (but then it was actually a mechanic later). causing shenanigans for the inhabitants was fun and felt very in character. the intro cutscene with the stock sound effects was very funny!
this game is super cute! i especially love the music and art. the shop song and that drawing of mint are fantastic! i felt the gameplay was a little slow in that the early levels take too long for how easy they are, which makes them boring. i really enjoyed the later levels and the boss levels with a higher challenge of dodging enemy attacks. the boss designs were great. i also loved the intro cutscene, very cute ^^
i love this game! i played it for 2 hours and i really wish i could say that i beat it. i even tried cheating at the last level by waiting for all blue ones or all regular ones, but it just felt more like luck than skill at that point and i was losing sanity lol. i even managed to get the exclamation sound and gunshot to play at the same, without the symbol even appearing (by accident) and it was still a draw!!! it may be a skill issue, since others were able to beat it (my average was around 0.26, when i won). amazing though; mechanics, progression, character designs, art, writing, music; all very good!
this game is hard! i really struggled to learn the mechanics, and once i did, it still felt really difficult to avoid enemy projectiles while strategizing on which bullets to fire and trying to find time to reload. also, the delay between pressing a mouse button and the gun firing is pretty annoying! i would try to fire and then change directions quickly, and end up firing in the wrong direction, wasting my precious red bullet! i did feel really cool when i pulled off a nice attack, but i'll admit i was barely able to beat a single enemy ;-;. i do really like the concept of strategically stacking bullets, and even though super hard, it was fun! i also quite liked the intro sequence and the blue dragoon sprites!
i liked it! the art and music create a nice night time thief ambience and the strategy gameplay is pretty fun. the harder levels were a lot of trial and error for me and it was hard to know which way the guards would go. it was definitely a relief to get a level without guards. also, the doki voice lines are very funny lol.
im glad you liked the visuals! i was using this as an opportunity to experiment with stuff and this method of sprite making was one. i was pretty happy with how the style turned out.
i definitely expected there to be some bugs. it was already taking too long so i had to rush towards the end. im glad the finale was okay in spite of this, though. i would typically avoid jumpscares and chases, so thats another thing i was testing out here. i dont really think theyre my style, but im glad i gave it a go! maybe the experience will be useful in future nonetheless.
thank you for playing it :3
i always like these sort of autobiographical introspective type things. there's something compelling about just hearing the details of someone else's life. i thought it was cool how things in the game world represented things in real life, like a was looking through a filter that shows things as someone perceives them. it was cool!
i felt really cute driving around as the little car, on the wrong side of the road cause i can 😎
