Viability: This is definitely a way greater step up from what I got to play in our early play tests and I really like what you have :). I will say that I did however run into some bugs still, such as visual tearing of some kind and also getting past the enemies was difficult as the character movement is slippery and a little sluggish, and enemies could block me and drain me of all my health in an instant.

Presentation: The overall controls are just fine as they were before, it does definitely control a little bit better and the improved views of the camera watching overhead above the player between scenes more correctly is a great improvement .

Theme: The overall theme reads pretty well! I love the simplified color palettes of most of the assets in the game, it feels modern but still inspired by older pixelated games.

Engagement: I mostly just was lacking patience but I think it would be more engaging if the player movement was improved a bit more and the enemies wouldn't be dealing a constant stream of damage upon contact. Maybe an additional goal or sub-goal for the player would also be interesting? And the slogan of "Awareness is Key" could also be used for the enemies on top of the secret pathways to make it more high stakes or intense.

ALSO maybe ways to hint at the player what the correct answers are would be good! Something subtle so that you have to stay focused without panicking and choose the correct answer. I think this would make for great immersion with the player character's urgency to decide and find the right choices, but it's not necessary if you want to improve the gameplay loop instead ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

I think that the game is very well designed overall, however, it would be nice to have more checkpoints through each of the later decisions so you don't have to struggle as much, or maybe give the player multiple opportunities to try and guess the correct answer ( ╹ -╹)?

Presentation wise I am a big big fan of the intensity of the text options being so fast, it fits very well into the theme of the anxious feeling that is instilled into the player character, and accurately captures the frustration of trying to order your food while feeling antsy! =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇) I do think that the options could be just a bit slower though, as they're a little hard to click even when waiting for and hovering over them, so a slightly larger window would feel a little more fair! (but keep it fast! The challenge is good)

The art style is great too, everything feels a bit cold which is ironic for a place that should feel welcoming like a cafe, but that is perfect for the aforementioned anxious feeling! The larger shots with people in the background makes the setting feel lived in, and the close ups to the player character encourage that feeling of being isolated while also adding a little bit of humor via the facial expressions.

Looking forward to any further detail you add to the game, good luck!

So far you've got a good style going! I do think that it could use a little more flavor, maybe a font that is still easily readable but gives off more of a high fantasy feeling would be nice!

I think that when there is a choice of options before the player (such as the three classes you choose from at the start that saved you/determines your class) should all fade in at once or faster? At least I think that would improve the starting page and flow a little bit better

I also look forward to visuals!! You could easily go for a monochrome style with a sepia/ink type of look like an old medieval/high fantasy hero/adventurer's log. It'd be nice to (visually) know the beast that nearly slayed you ( • ̀o•́ )੭ ✧´-

And unless it wouldn't fit for time, I think a slightly longer intro sequence would be nice, however the visuals might carry that plenty once the game is finished? Your choice! Otherwise I would like to learn more about the mechanics that are involved with the game (if it is intended for there to be any deeper mechanics, otherwise, you're good!)

p.s.

(I kept soft locking myself and was kinda tweaking ngl ദ്ദി(╥ ᴗ ╥) LOL, but that only makes sense and I look forward to the final product!! Big fan >:D)

Really big fan of all the little jokes and references in your game (my favorite was the snake one)! :)

My biggest criticism really is that there's a lot of typos and repeating text in some of the panels across the game!! That should be a quick and easy fix though ദ്ദി(。•̀ ᗜ<)

The art and style is perfect as is, but I think some more pages would benefit from having visuals! I'm sure you'll get to that anyways

I assume your game is intended to have replayability value, so I wouldn't worry about it too much, but it's possible that the game might need to be ever so slightly longer otherwise.

Anyways, thanks for sharing, good luck and have fun! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
