The atmosphere was impressive! I really like the dimming representing health idea, it added to the mood. Music was a good fit.

The combat was kind of frustrating. Hit boxes seemed to be small, jumping didn't always work etc.

A really admirable goal. I appreciate that you made a game to be a positive and healing experience.

Art and sounds made the game very calming.

Camera movement issues kind of disrupted the calm.
A little more story intro or information would have made the experience a bit deeper.

The gameplay was a little confusing and the art a little hard to understand.

Wow, really fun!

It was challenging to finish. I found the way the lasers interacted with the trees confusing / suppressing. But I liked how crisp the controls were - it was necessary to keep up with all the beetles!

Good job making something fun to play

  • Use of Theme - 4
    • Make sense  as "recovery"
    • the "salvage" aspect wasn't clear since asteroids aren't like broken space ships
  • Gameplay - 4
    • Reminded me of playing Lunar Lander in an Arcade
    • Upgrades are always fun
    • Starts to feel a little too slow
  • Creativity - 3
  • Art - 4
    • The are isn't amazing, but it works well and is easy to understand
  • Sound - 3
    • Good clear sound effects

Really interesting premise. Given the amount of reading required, I would suggest a slightly more eye-friendly font, maybe not all-capitalized. As I got more excited to learn about Kratos IV, even a crude map would have been really cool.

Something really special and clever!

Enjoyed playing it. A good classic platformer. Don't see the theme though.

Neat idea!

It was easy to understand what to do. I thought it was fun to fly the helicopter.

I couldn't get past the first door lock. Seems like I was supposed to determine the code somehow, but not obvious for me. :(
Wow, really fun!
