Yooo, this is such a cool game. It’s got an interesting concept with the sanity mechanic. The variety of enemies and the ways in which the game tricks the player make it so much more interesting. I particularly liked the tutorial style, with its cheerful gloom

One of my favourite games I've found so far at this game jam

Goodness me, I was so scared when she wrote that she’d left a present for me in the forest. I was worried she’d do something to Dale and his axe. Thankfully, that character’s fine.

Joking aside, it’s a really good game. It gave me the same experience as a full-fledged short horror game. The only thing that slightly messed up the experience was that sometimes the game doesn’t realise I’m pointing the camera straight at the character:

And also, main character, are you dumb? Mate, just go and buy a camera already – you’ve already got $1,500

Apart from that, I liked the number of little details and jokes, which add to the atmosphere or lighten the tension at times. And I haven’t even started talking about the visual style yet – it really helps to create the game’s creepy atmosphere.

Overall, it’s a very good, solid game.

Also, just a small question: were some of the screenshots on the game’s page taken during earlier stages of development? Or have they been slightly altered on purpose?

I’m a fan of the art style of the comic at the start and the end of the game. I found it funny how you used a random real life photo with lots of blur for the background.

It’s an interesting take on the "Trust No One" theme. It’s a shame it’s so short, I liked it.

The only thing that bothered me was the pace of the comic at the end of the game. I could barely keep up with the text (well, English isn't my native language 😋). I’d have liked the game to wait for the player to tap the screen or press a button, before moving on to the next screen

Not so hidden (102 ratings 😅), but still a gem in my opinion Rate THE VERY FUN AND SUPER INTERESTING GAME by Antrulz for Brackeys Game Jam 2026.2 - itch.io

It’s a decent game. I can see potential in the trust system. Although, once you understand how the maze works, it becomes very easy to get through it

Oh wait... I was meant to DEFEND THOSE LITTLE GIRLS???????

umm, my bad, I thought they all will turn into an enemy... Uhh, I definitely didn’t shoot them as soon as I saw them, yeahh

Pretty funny game. Despite having only 2 types of enemies, it was pretty interesting. And after I learned, on my 3rd attempt, that I can RUN, it was even funnier

I really liked this game's atmosphere, both in terms of visuals and audio. The graphics seem to remind me of old, simple, abstract indie games, as if those from the early 2010s: simple shapes, mazes, electric-glowing spheres, and, most importantly, the UI design of the menu and in-game text. There's something about it all that's so special.

The visuals are also greatly enhanced by nice music in the menu and this ambient background music, which also has a similar abstract atmosphere. Perhaps, I might have liked to see a track with a little more depth in the in-game music, but the selected music also complements the atmosphere well.

Even though the game used ready-made assets, they were selected with good taste and vision/idea.

Now, as for the gameplay:

I’ve spotted a pattern in the incorrect paths, and can now get through the game without even interacting with the spheres. But I assume I can make use of this, and always know which sphere isn’t lying, and accept its help. I don’t quite understand the point of the "Follow" option tho, given that I can get there on my own, and nothing'll change.

So, I feel like the mechanics of interacting with the spheres and the trust system are quite interesting, but practically useless

Oh, thanks, now I’ve got the final, bad ending.

I like the idea of different endings depending on the words chosen, even though at first I didn’t notice the pattern that the purple words are more paranoid.

Very cool game, very relaxing

The gameplay is really relaxing, I enjoyed it. The game’s style is really nice and atmospheric

There’s just one thing I can’t figure out: does the ending depend on my actions, or is it just chosen at random?

I managed to change the routine on other days too, but only if I didn't press "complete routine" button

I’ve tried clicking in different places. The button itself responds when clicked, but nothing happens.

Actually, I had a similar problem when buying items: the button animation was there, the sound was there, but the money wasn’t deducted and the item wasn’t purchased. But as I understood it, it wouldn’t let me make the purchase if I wouldn’t have enough money left for living expenses the following day

Very cool concept!

I died on my first attempt because, whilst I was figuring out the controls, I fired off a huge number of projectiles, and it was impossible to dodge the shadows 😅

Whoooa, I really liked the game’s concept. Unfortunately, it’s still very easy to exploit this system at the moment, but I still really enjoyed it.

The only thing is, the trajectory of the projectiles is a bit unpredictable, but at least that makes it harder to exploit the game’s mechanics.

Thanks, I’ve rated yours too.

All in all, including the time I spent on other things, it took me about 3 hours 😅

The stylisation is excellent. A lot of content, several endings, a complex resource management system. Overall a pretty solid game

I’d like to have more control over what happens in the game, apart from the ceremonies and levelling up passive skills. Also, once I’d allocated my routine points, I couldn’t change my choice. It was only when I replayed the game that I realised the "complete routine" button prevents you from allocating points. I’m not sure what this button is for at all.

Also when I tried to play it again, an error message popped up:

I liked it :)

Great game, I like how the "Trust No One" theme was realised. I’d like to see more of similar interpretations of this theme in this jam

I really should have played your game in the morning rather than before bed. It took me way too long to get through it, with my sleepy brain 😅

Perhaps it was a bad idea to try playing this at night before going to bed...

It’s a decent puzzle game; it made me think about solutions, read the clues carefully and rack my sleepy brains.

On the downside, the repetitive music gets on the nerves very quickly.

I’m curious to see how the story turns out in the end

It was a wonderful experience. I particularly enjoyed the number of little dialogue snippets that you can only unlock under certain conditions. On several occasions, what was happening in the game made me laugh, and I spent most of the game with a smile on my face.

The only thing is, scrolling the settings feels too slow, and I also struggled to get past the parkour section for a long time. Though that second one may just be a skill issue on my side.

Yo, it's peak!

I’ll recommend your game to my friends

Oh, my rate didn't get saved, sorry. I've fixed it now

I loved everything about this game, from the gameplay to the graphics and sound. It’s very well made. Lots of little details on the map also add to the atmosphere

Hey, it’s a great game. The audio really adds to the immersive experience.

I didn’t have any problems with the controls, which is another plus.

On a funny note, the super-secret-room key in my playtrough was a bit too big to be secret:

I really liked the atmosphere. I’d guessed the ending, but I hadn’t realised there was also a killer amongst the NPCs. Among other things, I loved the concept!

The jump animation, however, made me laugh.

I created a topic and tried to make it look interesting.

Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences there

This is my first Game Jam, and because of the format I’ve chosen for the game, it’s quite difficult to promote it. So I thought: who better to help me promote my game than a character from the game itself? Let’s give her the floor!

Hi, umm, I accidentally deleted my submission for the game jam. 😓

Mods helped me restore it, but the comments couldn’t be recovered.

The game file is already rather suspicious, and without the comments it’s even more suspicious, so I’ve attached screenshots of the comments I had.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a screenshot of your comment, so, could you please help me and post a comment again? 😅
