Christmas patch in April doesn't count lmao

He's doing the exact  same shit that ICSTOR did with milfy city, taking his sweet ass time to upload tiny crumb updates and seasonal patches to keep people on the hook. Although I think Komisari has finally realized he's going to start losing money if he doesn't start updating (only took him 2 years to make a Christmas patch, and missed every deadline he's promised that whole time)

His simps have been "why do you care" but he's making the tune of 6000 dollars a month to play genshin impact lol

You still working on this? :)

How is the situation in Ukraine? Are you safer than you were last year? I hope you're doing OK! Please take your time and put your safety first :)

I think Redamz and Komisari are racing to see who can take longer to update their game.

chapter 1 will come out in 2022 don't worry anon

3 years Christmas update in April good job

they're too cucked to listen, dont worry about them. they have to believe he was being efficient with his time and their money, because of sunk cost fallacy. they already gave him thousands and thousands of dollars, so they have to double down and suck his cock over it.

massive cope

look man, it's really not my business how quickly or efficiently you work on your game. Thing is, you're making a LOT of money to be doing this full time, but you still keep pushing back dates and breaking promises. I want to believe you're working hard, so I'm trying not to be a total douchebag about it, but a LOT of people are giving you their money...

don't worry, update coming in december (checks calendar) errmmm I mean march (checks calendar) errr I mean soon!

Will this be released in full, or is it cancelled?

is zeta gal still in the works?

he won't deliver.

f95zone put the abandoned tag on it lmfao

when the dev stops playing genshin impact

LAST LAST november at that lol

friendly reminder the last real update that wasn't a seasonal event was in november of 2020.

tbh yeah I mean, I don't know how long it takes to make a game like this. Perhaps he really is just holding out for the largest update ever (For some reason?) rather than making smaller more frequent updates to the game. Whatever the case, Patreon as a platform seems to reward slow development. It's like "Oh I get paid by the month. Yeah uhhh the next update will be ready in... not 2 and a a half years.. Maybe a few months past that even..."

Taking a break until I get some footing. I'm hoping to revisit this in the future, but I'm unsure if I will past this point.

Patching some things for an updated Demo, taking some of NeoSoulGamer's criticisms into account. The patched version will be available shortly!

Patches include:
Bonfires that heal the player
Slight map adjustments
More game direction
More developed dialogue

Youtubers encouraged to play and review the game. Be sure to send me a link so I can see what you think :>

Early access is ready! Come play @ https://nevaro.itch.io/nevaro-demo

It's official! The Demo version of the game is complete! I will do some testing/marketing, and then it will be available to play! I know this took long, especially for a Demo, but it is pretty much just the first quarter of the whole game, and for free! Will post more updates soon.

So pretty much just need to finish up the main boss fight and the last bit of climactic dialogue before the early access version is ready for play! I will be releasing a trailer for the game before the actual early access version is ready to be played. For FREE! :>

Life hits hard bois. Also I keep thinking I'm almost done when I think of something "really cool" to add to the game, which adds a bunch of time to the work I have to complete before it's done. It's hard being a perfectionist, while still having to accept that a Demo isn't meant to be perfect :c

Anyways, I have begun steps for the final section of the first world in the game known as "Swanwing Forest". Cygnus Keep, North Side, South Side, are all done. Now I'm just working on the west side, secret mansion, and soon-to-be boss battle with Cygnus, before the Demo is complete in its content. The hardest part is staying motivated when I keep adding things to my list, but soon enough the Demo should be ready.

And to keep you guys interested, here's a screenshot of where I'm at right now:

Finally out of Cygnus Keep
About halfway done developing the demo, maybe more. Shouldn't be long before I have something playable for you guys!

Early phases of the game making process are complete. I'm a couple maps in from here, but here's a screenshot of your first interaction with Cygnus :)

Yeah playing some indie games along with my netplay adapter for smash melee shorting out opened up some freetime! Also I am starting some new jobs in a few weeks, so I feel like I have earned some "creativity time"

Going to rework the overworld sprites for the main character a bit so they don't look so outdated. Here's my work so far!
Taking inspiration from Wizard of Legend, that game is awesome and their sprite-work is beautiful.

Thanks man! It feels good to get back into it.

Got done with some stuff way earlier that I forgot to share, but it's titlescreen stuff.. So check out this battleback I just finished! (I traced the base and mountains over the original RPGXP grassland battleback to make things easier. Now it matches my art style :)

Good idea, man, thank you! I might actually re-do the title screen in its entirety but idk for sure what I want to do. Since I have been between houses this past week I have taken a small break from development, but I will be back within the next week for sure :)

The font is all thanks to you lol ;p

I made the color a little more muted--was trying to give it an old timey kind of feel.

Just finished up making the new map, which fits the RPGMakerXP resolution:

This has potential! Looks very challenging in a good way :)

Hey man, thats really helpful, thanks!

I really like the choice of colors used, big fan of the old school classic look.  Is this made with RPG Maker? I myself am working on a project using that platform.
