I absolutely love push-your-luck games, but I think the underlying problem with this one is that the punishment for pushing your luck too far just doesn't feel like a punishment. I can spam the reroll button until I have a couple of crystals at a high value and then sell them. An idea, if you continue to work on this game, would be to charge the player money for each crystal that spawns in (except for the emerald so that you don't ever end up completely stuck at $0) and allow the player the ability to choose which crystals you want to spawn in next, maybe you want to go with some less risk lower value crystals or try for some higher value crystals and get a ton of money in return. And then make the return rate on the board (beginning: losing money, middle: breaking even, end: gaining money).

Overall though I think you had a fantastic idea, and the pixel art was really nice!

So well put together, had a lot of fun playing this one!

As a intermediate chess player myself, I didn't even need to touch the cheats in this one, but the story, the art and the sound effects all made for a really game.

To anyone who is stuck on the second stage. The last digit is 0. and on any other further stages with both the code and the wire on the same stage it is the number of wires. I kept on thinking it was the number of wires on stage 1.

That being said, really fun game! The art style and polish are really good!

The graphics on this game were spot on, some really nice pixel art. I also really liked the mechanics (even though they were a bit confusing at first as they weren't really that well explained), the puzzles were very fun. The only thing really missing from this game was some audio.

Rock and Stone forever!

The concept was spot on, but that balancing could use some work, but I understand running out of time for balancing lol.

Really fun movement and controls! Got F the play through and B the next.

Really fun game! I loved eating fish, then strategically eating fish.

Such much fun, wishing there was more! Great job!

Very clever and very fun. Well done!

I'd assume it is because you are removing items from a list/array while it's being looped through. That's my guess. (BTW your game is awesome)

This game is really fun! If you are reading this you should give it a spin.

Yeah, I was destroyed the first game as well, once you know what you're doing it's pretty easy actually.

Somebody's bankrupt now and it is not me.

I swear I pressed that button a lot more then 250 times...

I love the remix of minesweeper, the enemies (which at first didn't seem to affect the game much) became a much more interesting element the more you play. I really like that.

The puzzle mechanics were a bit confusing at first, but are a really cool concept!

Nice simple platformer! I enjoyed it although I wish there was a few more levels. For a first project this is really good!

Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

This game has potential, I love the graphics and sound, however the shield is OP. I can just spam click the shield and then just wham all the enemies. Besides some glitched campfires without the fire saying Continue for both buttons. But besides it being to easy (thanks to the shield), this game is pretty good!

This game is AWESOME. I literally have no complaints except maybe a difficulty option for people who want a slower game with less points or a harder game with more. The graphics, sound design, and controls we're all spot on, and I loved the different strategy points like when to deposit the cheese, and the fact that the more you have the slower you are. Great job!

Thank you for your feedback! I am sorry about the hard difficulty and agree with you that it is probably impossible. I had planned to spend the last day of the jam working on bug fixes and balancing, but instead spent it adding the audio lol. Once the jam is over though I definitely plan to balance out all the difficulties for sure!

I liked the concept however I felt like the 3rd level was too hard and needed checkpoints, as the wind effect is very hard to control making the movement very hard to get right. (I got stuck on the leap of faith just to die to the spike on the right).

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game! (I can't finish Hard mode either, I think I made it a little to hard lol)

Fun game! I enjoyed this project, but it did feel a little too slow at the beginning though.

This game is great! The concept is fresh and something I've never seen before, the controls are easy to learn and hard to master. The only thing this game needs is some audio, and it is so good it doesn't even really need that.

Fun game! I like the potential but here are my ideas if the dev team decides to keep working on this project:

1. See the stats of equipped items when you hover over them.
2. Damage indicators.
3. The ability to sell things instantly but you only get 50% of the coins. Or make the market double. Al
4. At the selling stop, allow the player to maybe buy one of 3 items for coins to make the coins have use.
5. More enemy variation rather than just stat changes.
6. Faster game rate, it seems a little slow right now. (All though most comments said that lol)
There are just some ideas to make the game better. Overall a very good idea and it has lots of potential! Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I agree that the game is hard, I didn't have enough time to balance it out, as I spent the last day adding audio. You can just run into the slimes to kill them though if you don't have any wrenches.

Sorry I am an idiot, I tried to edit all these comments, I had my browser muted and I didn't realize, the audio on this game is perfectly fine! Apologies.

Fun game! Very scary and hard!

Game looks great! Extremely hard, but overall a fun game!

Nice game! The graphics were insane, and the song was pretty good too. The only thing it needs is a little quicker controls (because that is only control as you can't control shooting), SFX, and some enemy diversity.

(1 edit)

Extremely unfun, unfair, horrible controls, terrible graphics that makes it really hard to see, got frustrated after 2 minutes... that means you win :) (Overall a very good rage game, great job!)

(1 edit)

Fun game! I actually enjoyed this project. I did find it funny that while I was under attack and preparing from the storm walkers I was busy reading about them lol. (Edit: Originally I said this game needed some audio, just released I have my browser on mute. Whoops, I am such an idiot at times!)

(1 edit)

Fun game! It felt like you were going for a horror themed game and I think that some audio would've really helped with that. However overall a very good idea, and it fit the theme perfectly. (Edit: I had my browser muted and I didn't realize, the audio is fine!)

I really enjoyed this game, although my only real complaint is that you don't really know what resources to gather until you die and you also don't know how many resources you have stored up.

Decent game, I would've liked better indicators for tower/enemy health and damage, as I felt too disconnected from the status of the towers, and you get constantly swarmed by endless enemies with no end, which I felt made the story at the beginning a little useless, as you will inevitably die.

I felt like the health was a little overpriced, but other then that the game is really fun!
