This is fantastic.

Finally got around to giving it a play! Sorry for the wait lol. Awesome first attempt, sprites look good, battle system works. Just some things to work out like making the fight music end when the battles end, and add some script to prevent the health variables from going in to the negatives and displaying just at zero, maybe something like "if variable less than or equal to 0 - set variable to 0 - display dialogue " $variable / 50" if that makes sense lol. Screw around with it, I know that sometimes what seem like the straight forward solution often isn't on GB studio.

I'll download this and check it out tomorrow on my DMG!

Hello! New to itch as I recently released my first game. My name is Karlon Adhihetty, I'm a traditional artist from Toronto and I've been painting on Game Boys for the past 3 years under the handle Neat Game Boy. Recently went on a side quest to break into GB Studio development with an official game for an old show called Kenny vs Spenny. Having a ton of fun with it, very hard work though! I hope to keep going once the game is complete and release some stuff with my own original stories. Will attach some of my hand painted Game Boys !
