The Medium and Hard difficulty levels are challenging and a leap from Easy, but they are solvable without guessing. That's the cool thing about it. Once you get the hang of placement rules, you can piece together which faces go with which group. Sometimes you might have two options for a 3-pip that both work. You could make an educated guess, but if you move onto other groups and come back to it, the answer is usually revealed.

I will admit, hard is diabolical haha. Doable, but it hurts the brain.

I like your ideas for annotations. That sounds like a clean way to do it especially since hints sort of operate in a similar way.

I recently participated in the Juniper Dev Game Jam. I quickly discovered that for many players, audio didn't work in my game. I'd like to figure this out so that I don't get docked on audio in future jams. To be clear - I don't have music in my game, just sound effects and background wave sounds.

I thought I had fixed it, I made several changes including setting Playback Type.web to Stream. But even after my changes I still had people leaving comments saying "no audio". I have not been able to recreate the issue myself. It seems to be an issue for just some players - I assume a specific browser limitation perhaps. Those that had issues were able to fix it by going into the settings and toggling the sound.

I am also not playing audio upon game load - sounds are set to start playing upon the first interaction. The issue is that it doesn't always work.

Does anyone have any tips for fixing audio playback in Godot games? Are there known issues around this? Any help would be appreciated.

Pipface is an abstract 2d puzzle game about identifying patterns on a grid.

The concept is simple, but I'm worried about how hard it is to explain. Essentially 6-sided dice are unfolded into varios 2d shapes alongside others and you need to identify and color in the dice faces. It follows the rule of 7, meaning that neighboring faces neighboring faces on the same die won't add up to 7. I won't explain too much here - there's detailed instructions in the How To Play menu. The tutorial is not quite a tutorial yet, it's just a smaller puzzle to ease you into it - eventually I will add a more guided tutorial.

I'd love to get feedback on whether this concept is just too confusing. Or if it was confusing at first but got the hang of it quickly. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

It feels too blatantly made with AI. I'm not saying using AI is a bad thing. But your main menu feels more like a SAAS product than a game.

I tried it out as someone who hasn't played many incremental games. So I might not be the best judge. The loop felt good and made me want to keep playing. That is until I forgot to equip the rock one and the felt like I was doing a lot of waiting, which maybe is the point. One UI suggestion I have is that the upgrade list scrolls instantly for me (on Mac/Safari) - scrolling instantly goes to the bottom or the top really fast, no in between.

You are officially 1st on the "leaderboard"! Haha, even I haven't made it that far. I just left it in because I thought it'd be fun continuation like in Balatro. It definitely needs better balancing haha. Thanks for playing Cathy - glad you liked it.

Yeah it's not entirely clear at first that you need to (usually) use all your casts each round - that should be an easy fix to convey. And I feel the same way about the buttons - I hated that I had to cover the wheel, but the way I was designing was a bit tight.

You got so lucky on Bounty 4 haha! Yeah that bonus is a bit cursed. It keeps going after Bounty 4 btw and keeps getting harder - I've never seen how far I could get yet personally.

I completely feel you on the grindy-ness - I was especially feeling it after playing it 100 times haha. Thanks for playing!

My game Pescatro is having audio issues and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice.

Users are reporting the audio not working. I've designed it to kick off the audio when the first button interaction happens. This is what I've read is recommended since audio autoplay is often blocked by browsers otherwise. For me this is working as expected, but for most if not all of my players the audio never turns on - unless you go into settings and poke it.

It's a Godot in-browser game built on a Mac. Tested on Chrome and Safari.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know how to fix it? I know it's too late to fix now, but it's my first time deploying to itch and I want to figure this out! Any help appreciated.

It does - the classic AI button color scheme/design.

Pretty fun though!

Fun little game! Here's my opinions:

- The high score disappears immediately so I can't read it if I'm too slow. It'd be nice to have a play again button so I can choose when to restart.

- The lerping feels a bit slow for a game that needs tight control. Maybe you're going for that, but if I'm moving my mouse fast, the ball lags behind.
