  1. Bugs: I seem to have completely broken the life counter. I had the multiball powerup and both of them reached the left side of the screen when I was on 1 life meaning that the variable instantly ticked to -1, bypassing what I assume is a life=0 trigger. The way to solve this would be to instead of using a life=0 trigger, using a life<1 trigger meaning that if multiple balls were to expire at the same time you would not encounter this issue.
  2. Strengths: I think this can be a really fun time killing game to play. I love the art of the chef, it reminds me a lot of the wool Kirby games.
  3. Weaknesses: I think the paddle speed needs to be slightly higher by default as I found with the unpredictable bouncing of the balls, sometimes I would just not be able to reach the ball before it hit the left side.
  4. Changes or Improvements: As mentioned before, the life trigger needs to change, and I think the game could maybe do with a background too. Other than that, you have a very fun game on your hands!
  1. Bugs: You can see the collisions and the player turns rather oddly.
  2. Strengths: I love the art style here, I think it is very unique. The dark atmosphere of the room and monochromatic pallet for both the environment and the character mean you have some real potential for making sparse colour pop and stand out above everything.
  3. Weaknesses: I think there needs to be more to do than just walk around one room.
  4. Changes or Improvements: As mentioned before, I think the biggest change is there needs to be more to actually play. Other than that, I think this shows a lot of promise.
  1. Bugs: The moving platforms can push you into the collision of the terrain and there is no way to get back up without restarting the game if you don't get onto them.
  2. Strengths: I really like the art style and the idea for the game is great.
  3. Weaknesses: As mentioned in the bugs section, the moving platforms have a few oversights.
  4. Changes or Improvements: I honestly don't think much else needs change, I really like what you have here.
  1. Bugs: Some of the spikes seem to kill me when I am not touching them, and some of them don't kill me at all.
  2. Strengths: I think you've made a challenging platformer with an incredible sense of humour. I absolutely love that the walking animation is just the character spinning and jumping they just flip vertically, it adds a lot of character to the game. I also really like the art style, as crude as it may be, as it is incredibly individual out of all the games submitted, and it makes me laugh. I also think that the inclusion of the shop with the "world's most sane human" was a great touch and double jump being locked behind some progress is a good choice.
  3. Weaknesses: Other than the dodgy collisions with the spikes, I think the game is a bit short. I would like to see Goon be able to retrieve their wallet at some point.
  4. Changes or Improvements: I honestly can't think of anything that needs changing other than the collisions. I really think you have an incredibly funny yet somewhat challenging game on your hands here.
  1. Bugs: I don't think I encountered any bugs.
  2. Strengths: I love the visual style, both in the character and the environment. The walking animation on the player is very clean.
  3. Weaknesses: I imagine this has been mentioned a lot, but the light does not always match the location of the lantern that the character is holding.
  4. Changes or Improvements: I think somewhere to see the controls would be nice, but other than that I think this game is awesome.
  1. Bugs: I don't think there were any bugs that I noticed.
  2. Strengths: I absolutely adore the character design, it reminds me of Bendy. If the rest of the game is done in that style completely, it will look incredible. I also really like the wall jumping, I feel like it was implemented well.
  3. Weaknesses: I felt like I was lacking direction and reason a little bit, I have no clue if I'm meant to be able to pick up the slugs(?) or if there is a key for interacting with them.
  4. Changes or Improvements: I would add something to tell the player the controls and that you can drop through certain floors as I got stumped there.
  1. Bugs: I think everything acted as intended.
  2. Strengths: The idea for the story is interesting and I think the visual style (if it matches the character) will turn out well once finished.
  3. Weaknesses: At the start, I was lost on direction. I ran right and then out of the map rather than left.
  4. Changes or Improvements: I would probably put an invisible barrier to the right of the spawn so that the player won't do what I did.

This is just a test, although I do plan on doing something bigger in the coming month-ish.
