Not sure about the bunker, although Anti-Breather will get an update to make him on-par with the rest of the cast (since he has dated code still).
New levels will also have secrets, yes.
The cafeteria garden uses different wall pieces from the rest of the game for some reason, so I’m not entirely surprised.
Not sure what I’ll do with the Rust Labyrinth when I eventually edit it.
I am happy with the concepts of Tufty’s abilities, not to mention Diesection already re-uses Marzia’s tongue ability from modern official alphas (as a homage).
That being said, Tufty will undergo many balance changes for whatever alpha holds the next Biology update, as well as potential mechanical changes to his jumping ability to make it more threatening in most encounters.
They don’t stay unlocked, they simply don’t require the keys at all, which is an oversight specific to Puss Mode. I have already fixed this for -3e a little while ago, but thank you for telling me.
As for the new transit door, it simply isn’t meant to be operable yet.
I’ll see if I can correct the voiceline timings for release.
- Alright, I’ll look into that.
- Any specific ones?
- Which one
- Alright I’ll look into that.
- Key doors or artifact doors? I haven’t had this bug happen.
- The OG Smile Wolf ending was removed, but the Chalk placement is new and accessible.
Thank you for the kind words though, and I hope to continue working on this to create a fully-realized vision of classic AEwVS!
- No, Diesection already has it now.
- No, Biology level has it now.
- Alpha 13d.
- All staff member enemies snap on you for holding it even in “safe circumstances.”
- A small amount of that stuff, so not 100% guaranteed for anything except gems, and even then, gems will come out slightly different from how they work in the beta (i.e. proper downside for Impetuosity).
Also, did you play on -3d when you got that bug? Because it should have been fixed in this version lol. It comes from answering the glitched sentence correctly.
Update: Never mind, I thought I added code that overwrote the save file if it had the wrong type in it, but I didn’t. -3e will contain an automatic fix for if you load into the menu with a broken achievement save.
For now, if you have a broken save, either delete it and load up -3d (since this version creates the correct object when you load up the main menu), or just load up any version, click “erase save data” on that one chalkboard in the menu, and then load into a level of your choice. This should fix it.
I am pretty sure the language barrier is hindering this conversation, but to say some things:
The issue should be fixed, although I will look at the code one more time to make sure broken saves get overwritten with a new. I know brand new saves get created normally now, but I will double check if broken saves get fixed.
As long as the Xs are displayed in the achievement zone, you will not be able to earn achievements since the game can’t save them anywhere. As long as you play any version before -3c, the bug will come back if you don’t have a working achievement save already in place.
Thank you, glad to hear you like the update!
- Depends on where the lag happens. While some optimizations have happened this update, I know materials on most objects lag the game, as they’re created at runtime, and each unique object has a unique material, so I’m sure you can understand how that taxes the game sometimes.
- A friend provided me a link to it.
- You can suggest new enemies if you want, although whether or not it would get added depends on if I like it.
- (bonus) The first xmas music is from Dungeon Defenders, specifically the Snowy Village build phase theme. The second when the game starts is Snow Jumper, from Tower Defense Simulator.
Not sure how so, you’ll have to be more descriptive than that.
Try deleting your achievement save data either manually or through the game’s “delete achievement data” button and then open the game again. It should create an actual save for achievements.
This bug only appeared if you didn’t have data already, so you don’t need to worry about losing anything.
Tufty will always show off his venting ability once you get the first incorrect question. After this, he will only vent once you either counter him (like Marzia and Viktor) or the bell rings (doesn’t matter if it’s for break or lesson). The more notebooks collected makes the time he spends in the vents shorter.
Once he enters a vent, he chooses the vent closest to the player and eventually descends from that vent.
You can prevent him from using a vent (either entering into it or descending from it) by using a ventilation duct heater (works like the neodymium magnet). Be wary that it does fall off on its own after some time (within 1 to 2 minutes).
I won’t spoil the other mechanic he has or the items you can use on him.
Thank you! Tufty is the teacher’s name. You can see each teacher’s name on the difficulty select screen, depending on what level you’re about to open up.
Not sure what you mean by “let map layout” and I won’t say what my plans are for the next levels after Biology yet, other than that History will get finished.
I already am aware of this bug. I am unsure what causes it (I’ll look into for alpha -3d) but a working fix is deleting your achievement data. If you’re worried about losing it for alphas where it does work, just take the current save data out of the app data folder and put it somewhere else, then the game will create a new copy. If the new copy is also corrupt, just hit erase achievements, then load up a level. Should fix itself.
I was talking about the Intro Soundtrack, and this video confused me since the wrong track is playing here:
I know a bit more now so I know this dude either modded this version or glitched Puss Mode and got the music to play here (do you know what's going on here?). But yeah, sorry for these comments.P.S. How do you disable the Steam VR thing because that still exists.
