I love how the car sprite changes over time, either from a large collision, the addition of durability + ducks. Such a small detail but really brings the game together! I got to a point where I had all upgrades but couldn't get to the second engine failure due to an off-screen building killing me but otherwise I had tons of fun and kept playing hoping to get lucky and see some sort of endgame!

Even if the script didn't export, the idea is really interesting to tie in a real-life countdown experience with an artistic medium (cues on a stage) to a completely different countdown in an artistic medium (countdown game jam). Love the idea behind it

Playing your game I realized that apart from some screen shaking, video games don't really do much in the way of disorientation during an earthquake. This is a cool idea to make the actual ground under the player move (although I must admit I got ridiculously dizzy on my second playthrough)

Wow! SUCH a creative mechanic to have not only your abilities tied to your health, but the health also tied to your height (and in a way, time to complete the level). And the artwork! stunning

I've been watching too my TheDooo cause the second I saw a casino I went ALL IN on 20X for 20years and immediately lost everything. On my next playthrough I played the second minigame, built up to 200 years, then went ALL IN and got up to 960 years. Really fun!

The art is so cute! Reminds me of slay the spire with the paths after each battle as well

Love the almost horror-style graphics! Love the idea of power-ups and modifier darts which really encouraged different playstyles. My first couple playthroughs I didn't use any of the power-ups cause I was too nervous to try them, but then the last one I just went all out and had a blast!

I see the vision, but I think this game needs a bit of that platformer polish like reducing the hitbox of environmental threats to be slightly smaller than the sprite + adding "coyote time" (where you are given an extra 2-5 frames to jump even after your character has left the platform. I think adding those two would've drastically improved the feel. Also it took a while for me to figure out how to use the magnet, so adding a Control scheme to your game's page would help a ton!

For the positives, I love the art style, it's simple, easy to read, but engaging. The feel of really getting familiar with the jumping felt kind of like a souls-like where it's difficult and punishing at first but as you get more and more familiar you get to almost a speed-runner state where you progress further and further without much difficulty. Overall great game!

I think the snipers need a little tuning, I had a lot of trouble with the snipers cause dodging out of their way (when there was 4-6 of them spawning in a room) felt really impossible since they were effectively hit-scan, so while I'm trying to get to them so I can shoot at them more reliably, unless I enter with >130 oil I end up dying almost immediately.

Other than that I really love the idea to have oil be both the time constraint, your ammo, and your health, a really unique take on a resource management shooter!

The hits have such a good PUNCH to them, it really feels like your projectiles are hitting hard, the screen shake, slight pause and recoil are all so perfectly done.  And the game is also so nicely balanced to keep you on your toes and keep the pressure up while not feeling unfair. Love the idea for the mechanic (first time didn't realize I was buying upgrades using time and left myself with 5 shots lol)

Thanks! I was struggling to design levels that would teach the player the mechanic all of day 4, and then the moment the deadline hits I had an epiphany on how to design more levels to make a more gradual learning curve lol.

Thanks for playing!

Amazing game! I was enthralled by the story and was not ready for the puzzles to come up as fast as they did, so cute and wholesome! Amazing art and music and such a clever use of the theme!

I tried running this in browser and ran into this issue:

As someone who loves a daily chess puzzle, these were right up my alley. It was so cool how the pieces would gravitate towards defending each other! I think in the last level I got to a point where the two "rooks" just defended each other on loop until one of them made a mistake. Also the graphics and music were so cool!

I love the bomberman-style gameplay. I could totally see this expanding to have different shaped bombs, different hats, and maybe even an inter-connected level (I kept trying to take some time out of the level with me to see if I could bank it towards the next level :) ). Overall I had so much fun!

Oh that's totally something I should've done! Thanks for the idea!

This is so addicting. I'm a sucker for this kind of replayability, nice challenge, I always felt like I was progressing, and I love how you can build it however you want. In my first playthrough I didn't even touch mana and minimal health (like a glass cannon build, my favorite) but in my next one went full heavy-mage

Who is the voice actor for this game, they deserve a raise! At some point I was like "wait a minute, was the UI always moving around like this?" such a subtle adjustment that I almost didn't notice, perfect!

Yeah, I kept meaning to patch the infinite time glitch but something else kept coming up, and in the end I figured I'd keep it lol

Thanks for playing my game!

Thanks for playing :) The pixel art is high praise coming from your game

Thanks for playing!
I was having trouble figuring out how to teach the player about the grab/takedown mechanic. The idea was that if you grab the bullet and rewind time past the point when the enemy would've shot you, the next time they shoot their gun jams.

I LOVE the handpainted look and the cozy inspiring feel of the game which is also uplifting in a way!

I hit 103 I think? maybe 105

Such a fun twist on the puzzle games where you have to zoom from wall to wall. On "This level hates you" I felt so betrayed! Such a fun concept

I love the time bending mechanic here, took me a while to get the hang if the mid-air mechanics but really like the puzzles

I LOVED this game! Love the among us-style minigames mixed in with the time crunch + some randomization. I am proud to say I got the good ending after a couple of tries :)

10/10 audio. The first time I threw a pirate overboard I couldn't stop laughing from the scream. Loved the frantic nature of it mixed with the little world events

This game made me realize how little I used basic math until I had to fight dracula

I wonder what the idea was behind making an explorable level? Maybe there could be multiple timers that when you're unable to get the starter timer to go up fast enough you can go out and explore to find more timers to increase your time?
