you cant open exe's on a tablet, this is a computer application only. youre obviously a child and you shouldn't be attempting to download this game.

Kinda enjoyed the experience. Really hated how the interaction system is somewhat unconventional, but I got the hang of things. The movement also seems really slow. Im fine with tile based movement, but the little animation between each tile is a bit sluggish imo. I had fun with the combat system and short story though, even though I dont see how it fits with the games theme.
Good job! I hope you had as much fun as I did when doing this game jam! ;)
Glad you enjoyed it! Probably the reason some of the inputs werent working was because of how I made the dash. I originally thought it was half-assed but then I thought it was more unique and interesting. Unoike most dashes, where you move x pixels forward in a certain direction, this acts as a boost to your momentum and helps keep it high. Like some other control schemes, it could take getting used to, but it is a cool thing imo. Makes the thing feel more fluid and controllable.
A postmortem update is planned with more levels, timers and PR's, and a few tweaks and such. If you want to see that eventually, follow my account so it can appear in your itch.io feed!
Loved the game! Pretty unique mechanic of switching the pallete to get different movesets. The reat of the combat was fun and I really liked how it was more fast paced than turn based (hey that rhymed) where it feels like its timed before you or the enemy can attack again after they do something. I also loved the music!
Good job on making a successful release!
Probably one of my favs in the jam so far! I love the arcade feel to it, from the ui design to the artstyle and gameplay loop. I like how you had to complete a picture and use a loop as a panic button when things get too messy. I also loved the music!
Good job on getting a complete submission out there! Hope you had as much fun as I did in the jam!
I had quite a bit of fun playing the game for a little bit! Art is B&W and the music is pretty neat. Though controls were really weird to get used to. The idea for the mechanics were cool but its a bit much for me at least. You have to learn the controls for all three states you are in and its a little weird. Also, the movement for the ship is like a wet, slippery bar of soap for me. Its really floaty and had me getting into enemy fire alot.
Good job on a submission though! Improvements to these and other thigns mentioned in other comments, as well as adding on to and refining the mechanics would make the experience a lot more balanced and fun. Also, though I didnt play it, the multiplayer is a really rare thing to see nowadays in jams. Cool idea!
I really liked the idea of the game! On my second and third playthroughs I started understanding some of the cards and made strategies using them. Perhaps you can let the player see the descirption of the card when its locked. I know it shows for unlocked cards, but I want to know what the other cards do too, even when im not using them.
Good job on making a submission though!
This game was frustrating for me tbh. First off there wasnt a browser or even a windows version and I was charging my phone, but thankfully I use bluestacks to play games like pvz2 so I could just use that to play the apk on my pc. Also, the instructions were clear to me , as Ive seen gameplay like this before, but the character changes way to damn quick for this to be fun for me, I even jump on the tile thats opposite to my color and it still sometimes loses. Perhaps show the time before you switch colors as well as extend the time a bit, and also fix some of the hit boxes. I think it would really help. The game was fine though, and was a neat take on those hyper casual mobile games.
Good job on a release though!
Hey. I really enjoyed the game! The color choice is really neat and the frog's jump is really good! The story was also nice, but I hate how you couldnt jump through the text to make it faster. That wouldve been a great QoL feature. But this was really well made for a jam game. Also I really enjoyed the many random funny hats!
I really liked the game! I loved how well the 2.5d artstyle worked well with the 2 color pallete. The story was also cute and I liked the idea of the "loop-inator". Only gripe is that the enemies give you WAY too little time to react and if you look closely in some areas, theyre constantly trying to follow you. Some of the enemies, like the little running pill guy, should be one hit instead, cuase they really do knock health off of you and give you no time to react. And also maybe make an attention system, not like a stealth game, but where they only active when you're in their vicinity.
Good job on the release though! Its great!
The game is meh. The game first off doesnt follow the black and white rule nor the theme of "loop"
Also, its really easy. I beat half of the levels by just holding the up arrow like its a win button.
I dont see much creativeness with this game and this two character puzzle formula has been kinda done before.
And also before the game was unplayable and also theres no quit button :v
Good job on getting a submission done though :)
I quite liked the game. Loved the choice of black and magenta and the controls are simple and nice. Only real gripe I have is that the boss is bad lol. The attacks are way too unpredictable and quick and it just feels like it cheaps you out for health.
Also, it took me a while to find some of the bugs, so as other people said, you can put in a minimap.
Good job though!
I love the challenge of this game! The art looks amazing and the movement is also really smooth.
Only gripe I have is with the time it takes to respawn. Maybe if you do an update in the future, you can make a key to just skip the cutscene of scrolling through all of the rooms. That would make for a great QoL change. But I loved the game overall, good job!
Glad you enjoyed it! The lo-fi music was just a quick decision and found some free to use music that sounded nice and calm. I personally dont enjoy 8-bit music , though I hope I get a friend to help in the future with the music, as I do plan on a post jam update. So follow me if you want to see an update :)
Im glad you enjoyed it! I usually never see many racing platformers as well, other than stuff like Fall Guys.
My favorite part of the thing is the movement too. I prefer the smoothness as I think it fits better with the speed. Though a fair bit of this is personal preference when it comes to what good movement is, while the rest is somewhat objective, as I think theres limits to how floaty or tight the movement can be before it feels bad.
I also plan on adding a save/load system so the continue button can be much better used. That and a lot of other new features and improvements are planned in an upcoming post-jam update, so follow me if you want to get notified of the update on your feed!
I really enjoyed this game. I liked the cute characters and the general concept. Though its really hard to try and make a useful loop for the enemies. I was thinking about showing the moves of all of the enemies in the current phase and reset when the current phase ends and you move to the next phase.
Great job nonetheless!
I love the game. Im bad at it but it feels its genuinely challenging. I love the concept and I love even better how you can make combos with past bullets! The game is really well polished and the many effects are just right and perfectly add to the overall game feel!
Definitely a highlight of this jam if not the best!
I would love to see any feedback on my submission for the jam! You can play it here: https://alium-realis.itch.io/d4sh
First, the game has wayy too big of a resolution on its page. And perhaps add a downloadable version if you have problems fixing the resolution.
The gameplay is also extremely confusing. I dont get how it fits into the "loop" theme, and also theres no set goal, which feels like it should be a thing given the point and click exploration type gameplay.
I really like the art though, especially the character portrait in the invertory menu.
Though I didnt enjoy it much, I congratulate you on getting a submission done!
