The ball is going to be amazing. Can’t wait to meet everyone! (Unlike real life. Please keep everyone away)

New update is out! It’s so good! Best work yet. If this game wasn’t already my favorite, it would be now. Go play!

Giving 3 stars for now, mainly because with it being v0.1 and only about an hour of play time, I don’t feel I can accurately judge it yet. I will say the render quality is good, the models are attractive, and what little of the story that is here so far, is interesting enough that I’ll definitely be coming back to play the next update.

As you might be able to guess from the title, there is a heavy religious overtone throughout, but I’m not sure yet if leaning into that is going to be the best route or not. From what I can tell, it looks to be building toward 2 different main paths: one of morality and virtuousness following the path of god and maintaining your chastity while resisting temptation, and then there seems to be a path where you eschew the tenants of the church and embrace a more sinful and selfish nature that might lead to a more debaucherous experience.

The sandbox elements could use a highlight glow over the interactable elements, but the dialogue on the screen does point you in the direction of what you should be looking for to click on. However, since there isn’t any actual choice yet for the sandbox, I also can’t see a reason for it to even be there in the first place. It slows down the story when you reach that point for seemingly no gain other than granting the player some agency, but again, because there’s thus far only been one thing you can interact with at a time during that sandbox portion, it’s a false sense of player agency and choice that honestly I think would be better removed so far. Maybe it’ll be better put to use later though.

Game is just starting, so I can’t give it more than 4*, but I enjoyed what’s there so far. I don’t agree with the xenophobia of the MC, but I get it. And as a narrative device, even an overdone one perhaps, it gives him a character flaw to grow through. Based on what he’s seen, demons are absolutely monsters to him. Even the way Red (nickname for the yet-unnamed demon girl you meet) talks, she’s got a clearly not-human way of thinking and speaking that Vee does really well to convey in a manner that keeps her cute and likeable for the reader, but still makes her sound very much “other”. Looking forward to more in the future.

Not yet. English only for now. Translations are planned for later, but no estimate on when that will be. This was translated from english to chinese from google, so I apologize for inconsistencies.

还没有。目前只有英文版本。翻译计划稍后推出,但具体时间尚未确定。本文由谷歌翻译成中文,如有不妥,敬请谅解。

Yup! You can choose a full harem everyone romance run, a no romance completely platonic run, and everything in between. All the relationships are flexible and up to you, and different from one another. The pure platonic run is more fun than I thought it would be too.

Do yourself a favor and play this game.

Despite this being the dev’s first game, and only one release out to the public as of this writing (though the 2nd is currently out with Patrons for early access and improves upon perfection), the game is absolutely amazing and already has hours of content to play in the first chapter.

There is a complex world built from scratch here. There is an in-game reason for the story to lore dump on you, but it doesn’t beat you over the head with too much of an info dump in my opinion. That being said, prepare for a little more reading than your average more “casual” AVN. The magic system is fresh, the political family drama is intriguing, and there’s a cast of beautiful women that are unique in their physical appearance and personas so there’s surely someone to love for everyone. They’re all believably their own person, and each have their own motivations for being part of the story that you can either assist with to keep them around in the future, or choose not to and you’ll be able to keep them as a platonic relationship for now and possibly turn them away later. The overarching plot is a mature and well written story, and the banter dialogue between the characters is fantastic. The animations in the initial release could’ve been better, and good news, in the next release that’s currently out with Patrons, it is!

Each of the relationships themselves feels earned and rewarding, and while the MC has a benefit of being one of a declining number of men in the world born with the Affinity that makes him more valuable as a partner, all of the relationships with the woman feel like they’re earned if you want it to be based on more than your political value/unique trait. Additionally, all the relationships have the option of being entirely platonic, not only between each of the girls in the harem, but also between all of them and you, meaning you’ll be able to do a romance-less run if you want, or encourage a romance between some of them in addition to yourself. The choice is really yours.

For me, this game sets a bar that’s going to be hard for other games to match for initial releases, but I could not be more impressed.

Yea, I should’ve been more specific that’s my mistake. While the wards are going to be in a relationship with both you and Cerys, that doesn’t automatically mean their relationship with her will be a sexual/romantic one. You’ll be able to make the choices for those between the girls to be platonic/familial if you want instead. We’re already seeing how that starts with guiding those other relationships in the Ch2 part 1 release out now with Patrons.

For all the Wards at least, yes. The way the harem dynamic works in this one isn’t a traditional harem for them, but more of a polycule. Each of them that joins the relationship will be in a relationship with both you and Cerys, not just you. Anwen and Aine will be more like Cerys though and probably not have a relationship with each other cause they’re related (Anwen and Cerys are cousins, with Aine being their aunt).

I’ve tried getting it to work, but I can’t either. I’m running the latest Joiplay, with the all the renpy plugins and every setting I can think to try. I’m running it on a Galaxy S22 ultra, so not exactly a slouch, but still can’t get it to run. I do have a friend that was able to get it running on his S24 ultra though, but he’s the only one I’m aware of. FYI, a android release is in the Dev’s plans to release after he gets Ch2 out.

Next update is out with Patron subs, and goes public on the 27th! Almost doubles the play time, even though it’s only part 1 of chapter 2.

Wait until you see the animations in the Ch2 part 1 release (if you’re not a patron and haven’t already). They got so much better, and he really stepped it up with the emotion in their facial expressions overall. The game was already fantastic, and he improved on it still.

I’m really glad to hear that! It’s the one thing that makes this game hard to recommend to others, when otherwise, I really enjoy it. You’re a complete mad lad with all the animations you have in the game (idle animations!? crazy!), but they make this game stand out as an impressive feat that I haven’t seen in any other AVNs.

I did pick up on her model change, she looks better in the bar at the end. Young, but passable for petite 18. But it still stands out in a bad way in the earlier build so I hope it can be changed sooner before you get too far into the story and have to re-render more. I’ve played the current public build, which is 0.3.

Looking forward to more though!

I like the game, but May is problematic. Her hair style, petite form, and enlarged eyes combine to give her an appearance of being underaged, and her naive, innocent demeanor doesn’t help with her maturity.

Other than her, it’s good. The story is at the point now where it’s really interesting to see the direction it’s going, the animation quality is great. The girls have likeable and distinct personalities.

I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one. This game is really highly rated, so I had high hopes, but the brain dead stupidity of the MC and other characters made me abandon it. And it sucks cause I actually enjoyed the game outside of that.

Everyone needs to play this. It is too fantastic not to, especially if you want a complex Love Interest (LI) with her own story to tell and enjoy the thought of saving her or letting her give in to her obsessive yandere side. The art is gorgeous, the writing is fantastic, and PixieWillow’s voice is phenomenal as Arvenia. Treat yourself and let her speak into your ear while you’re playing instead of reading through it quickly like most AVNs. This is simply a masterpiece that has risen to a top 5 AVN game for me and it is criminal how relatively unknown it is in the community.

Not gonna give detailed spoilers, but rest assured Cosy has years of content planned for this story. We’re almost finished story arc 1 of 5 he’s mentioned in discord.

To use your analogy, I don’t want you to act like one of those big companies in development. They lose touch with the heart and soul of the games they provide, and subject the devs to crunch and the inevitable burnout. I’d much rather a more relaxed pace, even if that means slower releases, if the content is better because you’re more comfortable and passionate about making it.

Sounds like you recognized the problem before it became critical, and I’m glad you’re pivoting to more long-term success for you. Cheers!

Yea, this is a type of AVN called a “kinetic” novel, which means there isn’t much choice available, and when there is, it’s usually going to be a simple dialogue change. You don’t have control over the story, we’re just along for the ride. Some people don’t like the lack of choice.

You could, but with android if you uninstall, it’ll probably delete your saves so you’ll have to start over with the next update.
