I'm the artist who made the title screen and I've been getting so much great feedback on it. Really appreciate that!

I share the same sentiment that the game is a little repetitive and there isn't enough action. If we do plan to revise this I'm definitely going to push for more difficulty and options.

Idk how anyone got past room 2 lol. I felt so sluggish compared to the AI and their bullets. My huge hurtbox didn't help. Would've loved to dive a bit deeper but I could not survive for the life of me.

Thanks for all the feedback! I was the artist who did the title screen and UI. I'm very glad you liked my work! We have heard some issues with the collision boxes and might revisit this to make some more left out additions like guns and a second character. We'll see how the team feels after a little rest. Can't thank you enough for the kind words!

Was fun until I realized it may have not been fully fleshed out. I got into the fridge room, pressed enough buttons to start the mini game and when I stopped the arrow in the green space it still resulted in failure. The mini game also didn't start without me pressing a few number keys on my keyboard. Was excited to see where this would go but unfortunately my progress was halted.

We will def try to implement a perfect though I'm not sure how hard that would be for the programmer. Thanks for the feedback!

also about the timing, we are currently learning there is an issue with godot and exporting rhythm games. Our singing notes are a half note delayed from where they're supposed to be. Should be able to fix this shortly after the jam. Since we were kind of working on something more complex than we're used to, some unexpected surprises occurred that we definitely weren't ready for.

I appreciate it! We def crunched a lot last minute and it resulted in a botched launch. But you live and you learn! We definitely plan you fix everything and make it playable in the future!

Cheater alert!!! Haha just kidding! I'm glad you had enough fun to find a strategy that worked for you. Most of us (myself included) just gave up haha.

Yea we kind of had a botched launch haha. We plan to fix a lot of the issues. About the screen size that may be a you thing having to do with your pc or browser you're using. I never experienced or heard of this issue until now. Unfortunately, the notes are half notes instead of on every beat so every note should be hit slightly delayed. For the keys, we plan to implement difficulties to make it easier for more casual players. It's currently on the hardest possible difficulty haha. I totally understand that it's unplayable for most people. I was bumping my head for a few hours trying to progress myself before I realized everything wasn't timed properly then I gave up. Thank you for giving it a shot!

This game had a nice mix of everything. The difficult wasn't too crazy, but just right. The slow-mo and water slash taking health was kinda iffy imo, probably should've been a seperate resource. I also wasn't a fan that you can't normal slash during slo-mo so you have to spend health if you want to damage anything in slow-mo. Great job over all!

Fun and interesting game. After a while I was swarmed by enemies so it's def challenging! Good job.

Nice music! Very easy to learn and get used to.

Fun lil game! Would look forward to you adding more emotions if future development was the plan. Also cloud respawns treasure for infinite money. How can I be sad when I'm so paid?

Cool game! It felt a bit repetitive after a while, but still pretty enjoyable!

Those dang chickens are too fast!

Super cool game would've loved some kind of audio. I managed to lock myself out of progression by taking advantage of the momentum physics of the rising elevator haha. Well done! You should probably implement a restart button in the pause menu for ppl that unintentionally get stuck like me :P

Such a cool and unique concept! I wish there was more to fiddle with. I also hoped for some kind of restriction on the jump collection maybe for challenge levels if you further develop this. Definitely challenging until you learn how to collect jumps just from jumping and landing over and over. Well done!

Wow thank you so much for the kind words! We really put our hearts into this one and I'm glad a lot of people were able to appreciate the end result. I'm really amazed to see how much interest there was in the game for people to follow through with their runs and push towards the good ending. Such a delight to get great feedback like this. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

So glad you were able to recognize our inspiration! We will have to look into that bug for sure. We may expand on the game after the jam to include more items/mechanics so petting the dog will be a thing eventually for sure! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for playing!

The whole idea was to learn from your mistakes. I'm so glad you enjoyed it enough to figure it out! Means the world to me. Thanks for the kind words and trying the game.

Awesome game. Love the exploration and enemy encounter method you went with. It is also very challenging which I loved. The music is insane! Will def come back for more and give this game another shot. Great work to you and your team!

Considering this is our first fully completed jam with everything we wanted to implement included, I highly doubt it unfortunately. We did have this idea to add a kind of ritual with components you would use to create a barrier around your home for a guaranteed good ending but we decided to opt out of it since we barely made time for the full game without that idea. If we did continue development on this that's one thing we would probably implement, as well as means to secure to barn which none of us really thought about but seems like a nice addition.

Really challenging and fun! It did take a bit of trial and error to understand the different types of towers, but i def appreciate the variation you're provided with for defense. Will def have to come back to this to try and finish all the levels. Great job!

Thanks for playing and streaming the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to grind out to the good ending! We actually got some good insight from your stream as we noticed a glitch in the ending script. The padlock is only for either the front door or basement door so there is no securing the barn, though that would've been a good idea to implement. The ring is just some spicey lore it has no impact on the game. The glitch was that you aren't supposed to board the door and cover it with the cabinet as the cabinet is enough to fend off the wolves. So the boarding that would've been applied to the basement door kind of counted when it shouldn't have. 'Tis a learning process and this is def our most intricate and longest game so far so it was a good thing to notice. Thanks again!

Really appreciate you spreading the word on the game and helping out with the confusion!

Yea that one spot is a little merciless haha. Great job getting the good ending. I'm glad people had enough interest to figure it all out!

Neat game. I wish it was much more further developed as its super short.

I probably should've reported this sooner, but when you pause the game during a boss fight, often times, the bosses pre selected direction of movement will carry on while the game is paused. I had a lot of fun with this and may have to revisit to try the other characters. Well done!

You were fortunate to reach the next area before the aliens detected you. From my understanding the longer you have your flashlight on the more likely you are to be detected and captured by the aliens. It's represented by the weird noise that occurs every once in a while. The longer the flashlight is held on the closer the interval of the noises until finally.... you lose. haha.

Surprisingly very developed for what it was. I could not make it to the end, but it was very fun and difficult which I really enjoyed! Great job!

I have sooo many questions. Are there multiple endings? I chose wrong apparently but still got an ending pointing at the other characters. Was a cool mystery game that had me wanting more for sure. Great job!

this was so cute!

Awesome horror game! I wish there was more sound variation. It definitely seems like you put a lot of time into this so great job! I enjoyed backtracking and going over each of my options to find different results at different times. Very impressive!

Sick pixel art. Loved the music as well. and the animations are great too! I feel like the jump is kind of pointless since there's no obstacles or platforming involved and no jump attacks. Def enjoyed for a short amount of time though! Great work. I could see this going a lot farther if you developed some currency or level ups between waves for move speed attack speed or sword length. Also no health bar really through me off i had no idea when i would die. Keep up the great work!

Nice game! I didn't get all keys and tried to head back but it wouldn't let me :( good job overall regardless! Not bad for a first try!

Very fun puzzler that last one was a doozy for sure! Good job!

Fun game! Could not beat it as i ran out of patience haha. Send Obstruct the tide my regards!

Is this game unfinished? I tried to go through every area but the city was unavailable.

Took a while to get the hang of but was a lot of fun! Great concept!

Cool idea, wish I had a friend to try this with.
