This game was awesome! Very creative take on the theme as well! I played it about 5 times before it crashed on me. I used the consumable that destroys adjacent runes and it crashed my game haha. But I had an absolute blast playing this! I love how the game scales as well. Great work!

I'm the artist who made the title screen and I've been getting so much great feedback on it. Really appreciate that!
I share the same sentiment that the game is a little repetitive and there isn't enough action. If we do plan to revise this I'm definitely going to push for more difficulty and options.
Thanks for all the feedback! I was the artist who did the title screen and UI. I'm very glad you liked my work! We have heard some issues with the collision boxes and might revisit this to make some more left out additions like guns and a second character. We'll see how the team feels after a little rest. Can't thank you enough for the kind words!
Was fun until I realized it may have not been fully fleshed out. I got into the fridge room, pressed enough buttons to start the mini game and when I stopped the arrow in the green space it still resulted in failure. The mini game also didn't start without me pressing a few number keys on my keyboard. Was excited to see where this would go but unfortunately my progress was halted.
also about the timing, we are currently learning there is an issue with godot and exporting rhythm games. Our singing notes are a half note delayed from where they're supposed to be. Should be able to fix this shortly after the jam. Since we were kind of working on something more complex than we're used to, some unexpected surprises occurred that we definitely weren't ready for.
Yea we kind of had a botched launch haha. We plan to fix a lot of the issues. About the screen size that may be a you thing having to do with your pc or browser you're using. I never experienced or heard of this issue until now. Unfortunately, the notes are half notes instead of on every beat so every note should be hit slightly delayed. For the keys, we plan to implement difficulties to make it easier for more casual players. It's currently on the hardest possible difficulty haha. I totally understand that it's unplayable for most people. I was bumping my head for a few hours trying to progress myself before I realized everything wasn't timed properly then I gave up. Thank you for giving it a shot!
This game had a nice mix of everything. The difficult wasn't too crazy, but just right. The slow-mo and water slash taking health was kinda iffy imo, probably should've been a seperate resource. I also wasn't a fan that you can't normal slash during slo-mo so you have to spend health if you want to damage anything in slow-mo. Great job over all!
Such a cool and unique concept! I wish there was more to fiddle with. I also hoped for some kind of restriction on the jump collection maybe for challenge levels if you further develop this. Definitely challenging until you learn how to collect jumps just from jumping and landing over and over. Well done!
Wow thank you so much for the kind words! We really put our hearts into this one and I'm glad a lot of people were able to appreciate the end result. I'm really amazed to see how much interest there was in the game for people to follow through with their runs and push towards the good ending. Such a delight to get great feedback like this. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Considering this is our first fully completed jam with everything we wanted to implement included, I highly doubt it unfortunately. We did have this idea to add a kind of ritual with components you would use to create a barrier around your home for a guaranteed good ending but we decided to opt out of it since we barely made time for the full game without that idea. If we did continue development on this that's one thing we would probably implement, as well as means to secure to barn which none of us really thought about but seems like a nice addition.
Thanks for playing and streaming the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to grind out to the good ending! We actually got some good insight from your stream as we noticed a glitch in the ending script. The padlock is only for either the front door or basement door so there is no securing the barn, though that would've been a good idea to implement. The ring is just some spicey lore it has no impact on the game. The glitch was that you aren't supposed to board the door and cover it with the cabinet as the cabinet is enough to fend off the wolves. So the boarding that would've been applied to the basement door kind of counted when it shouldn't have. 'Tis a learning process and this is def our most intricate and longest game so far so it was a good thing to notice. Thanks again!
You were fortunate to reach the next area before the aliens detected you. From my understanding the longer you have your flashlight on the more likely you are to be detected and captured by the aliens. It's represented by the weird noise that occurs every once in a while. The longer the flashlight is held on the closer the interval of the noises until finally.... you lose. haha.
Sick pixel art. Loved the music as well. and the animations are great too! I feel like the jump is kind of pointless since there's no obstacles or platforming involved and no jump attacks. Def enjoyed for a short amount of time though! Great work. I could see this going a lot farther if you developed some currency or level ups between waves for move speed attack speed or sword length. Also no health bar really through me off i had no idea when i would die. Keep up the great work!
