REMNANT is a cinematic music and atmosphere collection designed for

dramatic, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, horror, and mysterious worlds. It blends hybrid synth textures, sad melodies and haunting ambient soundscapes

to create immersive sonic environments that balance emotion and tension.

Every track is crafted to evoke a sense of desolation, discovery, and fragile hope — the quiet before (and after) the storm.

I’m Marco Herbert, a composer with more than 20 years of experience in film scoring, now expanding my work into the world of video game music.

🎬 My background:
I’ve mainly been working in the film industry, creating dramatic, suspenseful, and atmospheric soundtracks. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong sense of dramaturgy – shaping music that doesn’t just accompany visuals, but actively enhances storytelling.

🎮 For games:
I understand the technical and creative differences between film and interactive media – from adaptive music structures to atmospheric layers that react to gameplay. My focus is on building immersive worlds through sound.
