Hey, thanks for the message! I did get your email, and responded to it already :)

Here's what I'd sent in case you didn't get it:

Thanks for reaching out! This looks like a very cool project, I'll be excited to see what you do with it.

Yes, you can absolutely use music from the The Monolith. I would just ask to have my name and website credited like you mentioned.

Also if you're ever interested in a custom soundtrack for the game in the future, let me know! It would be fun to work together.

Cheers and best of luck,

- Major

Thank you!! You definitely spotted one of our main inspirations haha. Glad you liked the lofi track too, that was a fun last minute experiment.

I love this interpretation! Thanks very much, really glad you liked it.

Thank you!! Definitely put a lot of work into the mixing side of things. Very cool it reminded you of Guilty Gear, what an insanely good OST.

Love how you fleshed out the "non-existent game" aspect of the jam, really well done! The whole audiovisual aesthetic is really spot on, and the compositions are great too. Super impressed with the genre diversity, particularly enjoyed the lofi and cinematic elements. Really great work!

Great stuff! Wasn't expecting the genre changeup on the second song, that was a fun surprise. Good Morning, Heaven is probably my favorite track. The calm, introspective atmosphere it has is great. Nice work!

Really great piano piece in Last Stop! Super wistful and nostalgic. I like the idea of having the clock stop after your character dies too, nice way to integrate the theme. Great work!

This is awesome, super funky. Love the whole SNES theme, from the art to the nice soundfont choices. The game lore is great too, I would 100% play it!

Love the album concept, nice job! Also, weebquest is an amazing song name haha.

Maaan this is so fun! The mixes on all of these sound great, and I love the blend of chip and sampled sounds. Cool time signatures in Where Time Can't Reach, definitely my favorite track.

If it has breakbeats, I'm a fan! Love the fusion style, and the retro sampled instrument sounds. Can easily picture this in a PSX game. Nice use of the clock sounds within the tracks as well.

This was great! Really nice sound choices for the synths. Each track had a bunch of fun textures and great sense of movement. Oops You Woke the Machines is probably my favorite, gotta love heavy guitars and a catchy melody.

Thanks for the kind words! We definitely tried to keep things dynamic and had fun bouncing between the intense and chill sections. I like that interpretation of the closing track too :)

Hey, metal synth buddies! :) Thanks a bunch, excited to check out your submission!

Haha thank you so much! Definitely cool hearing what aspects of the track stood out to you.

Thanks so much! We had a lot of fun with the genre mixups.

Wow what a compliment! Thanks very much, I think a full version would be really cool.

That's a crazy high score! Well done and thanks for playing :)

Thanks, really appreciate that!

Thanks a bunch, glad you had fun!

Thanks for checking it out! Super glad you think so :)

Thank you! Glad you found it straightforward, we were hoping it would be easy to pick up.

Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it!

Super fun gameplay loop! Great mix of strategy and survival. Also really enjoyed the music.

Loved the whole aesthetic, especially the music implementation. It immediately hooks you and creates a really nice zen, flow state. Super cool stuff!

Hey! What were you hoping to use it for? Feel free to DM or email me, I'd definitely like to help out: https://www.majorbruno.com/

Man this game is super ambitious! Very impressed with the scope for only having a week. Also as expected, the music is excellent :)

Thanks so much! Cheers.

Wow, that kind of playtime is the highest compliment! Glad you had fun with it :)

Thank you! Glad you liked the concept, and thanks for playing :)

Hey, thanks so much for giving it a try! The attack patterns are totally random, to add to the "chaos" factor a bit. Glad you enjoyed it in spite of the confusion. Also really appreciate the kind words on the music!

You're too kind! Really appreciate you checking out the game :)

That's a pretty great score! Yeah we did, somehow haha. Very glad it felt polished and that you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing.

Wow, really love the contrast of the EDM elements and the orchestra. The synthwave drones in Cobalt's theme are super groovy, and the brass staccato over the top really makes it feel triumphant. Lots of catchy melodic material and instrument variety - there's so much here! Great work to both of you.

Wow, really appreciated all the detailed comments! Thanks so much for listening. I definitely tried to ride that line with being a bit more reserved to really focus on the atmosphere. You're right about the metal guitar - that's definitely a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine. Really happy you enjoyed it!

Thank you! That's a great compliment :)

You're too kind!

Thanks so much! I was hoping the electric guitar would up the intensity at the end there :)

Thank you! I tried to vary the rhythms and time signature in a few places so I'm happy that stood out.

Thank you! That's very kind. I'm glad you liked the last track, I was definitely trying to ramp up the intensity for the end.
