Thank you for the honest feedback, this game could 100% benefit from having more player input, and as of now its super easy to just get screwed over by the RNG. At one point, I was considering having the player ball's sword orient itself towards the mouse (And knockback too so you can actually avoid getting hit), but I wasn't sure how I would make that work with mobile.

100%, I was thinking this too. I honestly think all of the skills need to be entirely redone because:
- The code for the skills right now is actual hot garbage 😭
- The skills aren't actually all that interesting, and having more permanent power boost other than speed and health (Like permanently increasing sword size or other new weapons) would be very nice.
Honestly, calling it an 'idle' game was more of an afterthought (It's idle only in the vein that you don't have control over the ball 😢). If I ever expand on this I will definitely lean more into being a proper idler with permanent, impactful upgrades
I did think that having to wait an entire rotation to hit the enemy again was slightly frustrating, or maybe its a skill issue on my part. Also for the space background, I think you could get a lot out of swapping it for a "space background" shader rather than it being just a flat texture. Otherwise, the visuals were pretty great, I especially was impressed with the particles on the flamethrower.
This game definitely stands out aesthetically. I did clip through the road several times and get stuck on some of the garbage littering the street several times 😢
Also, if you are interested in improving on the car physics, I would definitely 100% recommend this video by Toyful Games for car physics in Unity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdPYlj5uZeI&t=1237s
I thought this game was nice and cozy. If by chance you are contemplating what you want to add to give the gameplay more depth (I saw in your description that you plan to update this), I would recommend looking at some gameplay of Touhou Mystia's Izakaya. I feel that game is also in the same vein as yours.
You happen to be in luck then ;). I used Godot 4 to make my game, and https://silentwolf.com/ host a plugin/online service for storing leaderboards and other sort of data. (I should also mention that this service is completely free, somehow...)
