It's an "endless" Match-3 game. There isn't a next level, the score climbs based on your matches, you lose when you run out of turns. Thank you for playing, appreciate the feedback!

I couldnt get past the first section- it feels really abstract. The art is cute but the swipe left/swipe right decision isn't conducive to long form thinking, especially when you only have 2 words to figure out whatever pattern is attempting to form. It felt more like I was just guessing a majority of the time, which I didnt find fun
Ended up playing until Wave 18 where the lag just got too much. I didnt really get to experience the "Playing as Enemy" after circling the enemies in the same box for several waves. I kinda wish there was more an interesting map or upgrades, cause the time to kill felt too long. I loved the particles effects and the music was good, interesting gimmick that I wish I got to experience more!
Good luck with your goal, feel free to check out mine! https://lukystudios.itch.io/kernel-bread
I may have got a little pull happy with the slot machine. ^^"
I do wish the first level would happen before being presented the shop menu, cause I was very confused when I was presented an upgrade shop but unable to do anything with it. Overall a really interesting auto battler where you want just barely pass each level!
Overall, a really interesting game with a unique spin on the theme! The dynamic music reminded me a lot of Tunic. The pixel art is really cute (sucker for 2-bit games). Some friction points here and there but the sense of discovery was amazing. The visual effects were a bit trippy but I think that's more an issue with the wide aspect ratio.
Felt like it was extremely difficult to get a run going due to the amount of randomness. There was several times where Vesuvius would erupt, destroying everything that was pre-placed before I was even able to place a card. There was a lot of different cards and resources that looked interesting to collect but I wasn't able to play many of them due to the high cost.
I love the idea of trying to build a city under a timer with your previous work being destroyed, but I wish I could attempt to build that city first!
