Nice idea, I like the sound of it.

Hi.  The pack looks really nice but would you consider making a few .PNG files available to test?  I'm not fussed which ones, just keen to see how they would look within my UI.  Thanks.

Looks nice but I would prefer more imagery showing in the preview.  Thanks for sharing.

I'd like some pets too!  I'd really like a Pomeranian dog.  Sorry I thought I would sneak my request in as well lol

Nice one suits my project perfectly.  Thanks.

Love it thanks LimeZu.  It's nice the butcher shop can double as a horror scene now.

Really nice mix today I love the gory little details.

Hi LimeZu.  If you get an opportunity, would you please add some further characters to the pack?  I'd love a character in some kind of security attire, some kind of policeman/mercenary would be awesome.   Maybe a butcher with a cleaver would also fit the current theme.

Thanks as always.

Nice to see you're still adding to Serene Village.  Good addition, keep it up!

New themes are looking great.

Zip file working now.  Thanks for sorting it so quickly.

Hi the file is stating it is password protected but I don't see a password listed in the description.  Thanks.

Looks great, looking forward to future updates.

Floor traps look great I really like the spike pit. Nice work as always.

Hi and welcome to Stone Flinger!

Stone Flinger is a short 2D orthogonal RPG played Arcade style.  Your goal is to accumulate as many points as possible, and progress as far as possible during your one single life.  It will be free-to-play and there won't be any price tiering.  Upon death, you will respawn at the start, with a fresh desire to outdo your previous run.

Points are accumulated by locating objects scattered around the map, including coins and treasure, as well slaying any monsters you encounter with your trusty slingshot.  You can replenish health as you scour the map, but be warned, not everything you see will benefit you.

As things stand the game is current working without the high-score scripting in place.  There's currently 2 large areas to traverse, an outdoor area and a cave system.  I'm still playing around with various things for the game, considering ideas like speed boost and alternative ways to attacking.  Sound and some further UI elements are scheduled once the game is closer to completion.

This is my first game project, having started 2 months ago.  I'd always been put off game development as I have zero drawing ability, but I bought a book and thought I'd give it a try.  I'm learning as I go, so I'd welcome feedback.  I've been largely relying on users https://pipoya.itch.io/ and https://limezu.itch.io/ for sprites and tiles so check them out if you like them.

Feel free to ask questions and deliver feedback.  Thanks.

I was thinking a buzzsaw/spike pit kind of thing that appears from the ground? Really pleased to see more characters/monsters as I'm currently using your Cave tileset and sneaking some extra stuff from Interiors. Keep it up!

A bit late, but I really like this.  Kind of looks like a grandpa Squirtle who went to live with an Oddish for a while.

Great thanks I'll keep you posted

(1 edit)

Hey.  I'm Lordzola, I starting deving about 2 months ago as I was bored.  I'm hoping to release my first game before Christmas, a top-down 2D orthogonal rogue-like game.  I've been reading up on Unity development with books; I've just completed Jared Halpern's book and I'm expanding on my games contents day by day.  I'm quite happy with it so far, nothing special but it works and I've got some really nice tilesets going and plenty of ideas to try and implement.  Anyway, keep your eyes out.  Tara.

EDIT: https://itch.io/post/2131238/view-in-topic Devlog for upcoming game, Stone Flinger

This looks great, really caught my eye.  Nice work.

Blade trap looks great!

Really nice collection.  Have you considered any kind of floor trap?

Great thanks again

Hi is there any chance you could add a 32x32 theme sorter?  Having a few import problems with the large spritesheet.  Thanks

That's great, I look forward to it!

Really big fan of this tileset and I'm currently using it for my first game, thanks for sharing.  Is there any chance of continuing the 'add work'?  As the sprites are more detailed it is a bit of a shame to mix with them with the previous ones.

Nice.  Pretty useful for stuff on the fly.  Easy to use as well.

Very nice there's a lot of variety in the rooms now.  The Cars poster and elephant plushie are favourites of mine.

Really nice.  I particularly like the detail on the kids book.  The TV and skateboard look great as well.

Great looking forward to it.

Hi LimeZu, thanks for the Summer Sale the packs are great.  If you are still looking for ideas I had a few I thought would compliment the pack well:

PETS: If you could create a few different pets, there's a lot of objects that could go alongside them e.g bowls, doghouse, cat tree, hamster wheel.

TECH: There's already some great computers but I think a few little things are missing.  A television would be good, a radio (like a boombox?) would work well with the other musical equipment, and maybe a telephone and some headphones.  You could also add a few console-like machines with controllers and a TV stand to expand the living room options.

Thanks again
