A really strong entry with creative mechanics and genuinely well-designed puzzles. The difficulty feels approachable, and the lighthearted comedy works really well. I had a great time playing your game!

When I first started playing, I thought the whole thing was a joke. I kept playing and still thought it was a joke. Then I reached one of the bosses and realized that yes, it definitely was a joke, but a joke with excellent mechanics, creative boss fights, and simple yet enjoyable gameplay.
Without a doubt, this is an excellent piece of work.
Definitely one of the best games I’ve played in this jam. Everything feels incredibly polished, the feedback is excellent, and every action feels responsive.
The controls feel a little strange during the first few seconds, but after that, they quickly become natural and intuitive. The difficulty progresses really well, and the bosses are very creative.
I had an amazing time playing this. Fantastic work!
Edit: Please continue working on this. This has huge potential!
Thank you so much for the review and the feedback! Honestly, trying to implement everything in just two weeks was pretty challenging, so a lot of ideas and systems ended up only partially finished.
I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and were able to see the vision behind it. Your encouragement genuinely means a lot and makes me want to keep working on the project!
I don’t know if it was intentional, but I loved having to sacrifice one of my teammates to reach the end of a level. Yoshi would be proud.
Jokes aside, I really enjoyed the game. One of my favorite things is that there isn’t just one way to solve each level. It all depends on your approach and how you use the Little Guys.
The theme was implemented really well, and the game is both fun and addictive. It made me rage quite a few times, but I still couldn’t stop playing.
Let me tell you, you absolutely nailed the COD Zombies inspiration. You captured the essence of the original maps really well, and the whole experience felt incredibly nostalgic.
Overall, the game is very solid, and the round system works great. The enemies are funny, although some of them can be pretty difficult to escape from.
I only have a couple of small suggestions. It would be helpful to add some kind of indicator near the doors, since it took me a while to realize they could be opened. I only found out because I happened to walk close enough to see the price. Also, with the starting melee weapon, it feels almost impossible to kill an enemy without taking damage. I couldn’t find a reliable way to avoid getting hit.
This is a very strong entry and a really enjoyable game. Congratulations!
I laughed so much at the references at the beginning, they were really well done! At first, it was a little difficult to understand what I was supposed to do since some mechanics weren’t very intuitive, but after interacting with everything for a while, I eventually figured it out.
Congratulations on finishing your first game jam! I hope you had a great time making the game. Keep creating and working on more games!
Very good entry! It’s an excellent concept for a roguelike and has a lot of potential. I really hope you continue working on it. The art style is great too.
One thing I would add is a planning phase where the player has time to place their units before pressing a button to start the battle. I felt like the units attacked as soon as I placed them, so I didn’t have enough time to think or plan my strategy.
Overall, this is a very promising and enjoyable game. Great work!
At last, the ultimate dad joke: “How many Little Guys does it take to kill a mammoth?”
Amazing game, really addictive! The best part is that I can keep playing it while I’m working
The theme was implemented extremely well, and I was genuinely impressed by how smoothly the game performs, even with so many Little Guys on screen. I also loved the art style; the shading reminded me a little of Flipnote Studio.
Keep up the great work! This is a really solid entry.
Really challenging, but also really fun! You have to pay close attention because everything can go wrong in just a second. At one point, my Little Guys started dying one after another in a chain reaction, which was both chaotic and hilarious.
Just a couple of suggestions: the colliders could use a little adjustment, since there were times when the Little Guys did not seem to touch each other but still died. I also found a small bug, if a Little Guy dies slightly off-screen, you cannot remove the body, so everyone following behind ends up dying too.
Aside from that, this is a really creative and enjoyable entry. Great job!
I really liked the music. it has a bit of that classic Banjo-Kazooie feel. The dialogue system works really well, and the writing itself is fun and engaging. I especially enjoyed the comedy; it reminded me a little of Undertale.
The tutorial is excellent too. Everything is explained clearly and naturally without feeling overwhelming. It’s a great concept for a minigame, and the whole experience feels very polished.
I did get fired, though... but that’s on me. My memory is terrible
Great job, and keep up the good work!
Great cinematics and very nice tutorial. Got the reference from "That one game we know".
Great level design! The boss design is also really good, and its attack mechanics are varied and interesting.
However, I do think some of the attacks feel a little unfair. When the boss gives the attack signal, the attack happens almost immediately. A good solution would be to use different visual or sound cues to indicate which attack is coming, followed by a short delay before it happens. This would give the player a better chance to react.
Overall, great work! I really enjoyed it and stayed hooked on the boss fight for quite a while.
