Thanks for the comprehensive feedback! Some of the things you mentioned would have definitely made it into the game if I hadn't gotten lazy in the end.

Great game. I liked the graphics and that the gameplay is tied to a story. I did notice that sometimes the teleporting enemy would teleport right into me, which seemed like an immediate gameover, if you are continuing to develop the game you might want to look into that. It would also have been handy if the dialogs continued when clicked. All in all, a good looking game.

Thanks!

Good game with stunning graphics, although the particles on the character selection screen are a bit much in my opinion. I think it would have been even better if walking around made a noise. A visual indication of damage being done would have been nice as well.

A challenging game for a jam. I like the idea of the text adventure being "inside the game", I've never seen it that way before. I got to the point where it seemed like all I could do was fall into the void. I suppose as an ending this could fit the theme - probably not it though. xD

Thank you! I really appreciate the positive feedback.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on the point that it lacks visual cues, i wanted the player to indicate a hit. But then i discarded the idea, considering that all the players sprites would have had to be hardcoded or iterated. In retrospect, that wasn't the best decision.

Thank you! The inertia was totally a feature and not just a result of the approach I took for player movement ;D

You have built a very cozy game, the soundtrack is great, the graphics are as well.

As others have said, the game is quite hard to control, but I like the idea, the graphics and the soundtrack were great too.

Cool game idea! It took me some time to understand how it is operated, and I got through the levels mostly by pure luck, but I really like the idea of this kind of math game.

Nice artstyle and simple but great gameplay and movement. The only thing I would have liked to see would be some kind of start menu and maybe a little hint about the controls (especially the bolts, as I did not read the text on the game page at first).

Nice game, the soundtrack is really relaxing and the AI art assets look really cute. I also like the little animation the sub makes when it's hit by a fish.

A nice game, with an interesting design concept that is very difficult. I think it would have been good to mention the hint, regarding when the HP decrease, in the game itself. But it could be that I simply overlooked that.

Thanks and thanks for playing! I actually wanted the controls to be a little more challenging which made them a a bit unintuitive. But I'm sure you handled it just as well as anyone else who has played this game.

Great game! The lever sound effects had me chuckling. My pc was struggling a bit, which made it a little harder as the sub wouldn't stop "kissing the wall" 4 times in a row. But I made it on the second try. Impressive how the game went from fun and a little silly to a mini nightmare so quickly.

Thank you. You're totally right, I only used the music so that the game is not completely silent. I also considered adding some kind of sprinting mechanic. In the end, however, I was too lazy.

Nice game! As others have mentioned, it was a little hard to figure out at first. For me, it was a bit frustrating that the game would start all over again when you fell off. But after a few tries, I had it down. By all means, a unique and interesting game.

Oh, I must have missed a lot then, I played it again and scored 1800 points, something at least. I guess if I hadn't been spamming around I probably would have noticed when a projectile hit, so I don't think it's necessarily due to lack of communication.

Interesting game idea. I didn't quite understand how to dodge the fish. I guess you have to, since you can't hit them. In my opinion it would have been nice to have the movement constrained to within the viewport, but it's not a big deal.

Nice game, wish i would have thought of implementing deep sea hot springs. A few narrower paths might improve the overall gameplay a bit, but I suspect that would be impossible to navigate at a faster rate of descent.

Thanks! And thank you for the kind words, your game art is outstanding!

Interesting game idea, unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it even after 20 minutes of trying. I really liked the visuals, especially that the fisherman casts the fishing rod at the start of the game.

Thanks for playing my game and providing feedback. Some parts could indeed use a little makeover. 😅

I really enjoyed this game, it only took a few quick minutes and I was completely immersed. The ending was a nice touch. The only thing that could have made it even better in my opinion would have been a few extra threats (eg. fall damage). On the other hand, this would probably have compromised the relaxing gameplay...

Very addicting game with nice visuals, sound and  great level design, they were not too easy and with an evenly increasing level of difficulty,  it took me quite some time to work out  level 9.

Really appreciate your feedback, thank you for playing my game!

A great game with an awesome soundtrack, nice looking start menu and overall visuals. I'm amazed at how much detail this game has.
