Nice game! Really liked the idea and the music. Gameplay-wise, I think it would be nice to have a "picked-trash" counter, and maybe some more game-feel elements too, like pushing back your character when he gets hit (or particles appear), a higher sound... Just something that tells the player more clearly when hit. Also, since the game is located underwater, maybe more background elements like plants, sea creature or caves would make the scenario feel bigger and full of life!

Great experience, keep it up!

Thanks for the comprehensive feedback! Some of the things you mentioned would have definitely made it into the game if I hadn't gotten lazy in the end.

Good starting point also not bad in terms of sound design!

Developer

Thank you! I really appreciate the positive feedback.

Quite fun little game! I like that there're another objective in the normal mode. The game lacks visual feedback tho, for example, when getting hit there should have some visual and audio que to give it more impact.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on the point that it lacks visual cues, i wanted the player to indicate a hit. But then i discarded the idea, considering that all the players sprites would have had to be hardcoded or iterated. In retrospect, that wasn't the best decision.

Simple and fun. Inertia feels like a nice touch. Bonus points for fish sprites :D

Developer

Thank you! The inertia was totally a feature and not just a result of the approach I took for player movement ;D

Simple cute little game. I love the idea, we should clean our oceans. The controls are a bit hard but maybe I am just noob, anyway well done!!!

Developer

Thanks and thanks for playing! I actually wanted the controls to be a little more challenging which made them a a bit unintuitive. But I'm sure you handled it just as well as anyone else who has played this game.

Great game. The music is a bit repetitive. Would be nice if we had some sort of action like a dash or something!

Developer

Thank you. You're totally right, I only used the music so that the game is not completely silent. I also considered adding some kind of sprinting mechanic. In the end, however, I was too lazy.

Developer

Thanks for playing my game and providing feedback. Some parts could indeed use a little makeover. 😅

Nice game! The art looks great and it is also nice that you have included two game modes.
