Thank you!
The surprise might have a little too high chance (think I set it to 20%), I just wanted it to at least trigger once for the tutorial level (which was the only level I had time for). It was developed on Linux, so that was the default release! :)

Nice game that was easy to pick up (I managed to play in through wine in Linux). Straightforward mechanics and nice pixel graphics. Good job!

Thank you!
The sound effects were on the top of my list to change (I think they're too harsh), but I didn't have time.
Maybe I'll get around to changing them after the jam.

Thank you very much!
The random "tomte" event when you break a block is something I would have liked to improve, since what happens now is the bunny moving and jumping randomly and you can't control anything, but very often the bunny gets stuck running into a wall, which is not that great.
I'm glad you liked it!

Pretty nice little game and within the surprise theme. I did have to remove my headphones in the bathroom, though. Good work!

Pretty surprising game (despite the name). The web version did seem to hide parts of the game, but I still managed to the chest. Nice work!

Not sure what was going on half of the time, but it was interesting. The 3D part on board the spaceship was quite laggy, but thanks for providing a web version! Definitely fits in the surprise theme!

Nice short game, pretty polished and within the theme. Big plus for Linux version. Well done!

There is no Linux or Mac version.

It's easy to miss in Unity, but in the Build Settings window you have to change the "Target Platform" and build each executable separately.

Simple and elegant, nice work.

Thank you!

Very nicely put together deck-based digging game (though quite difficult with the enemies moving in real-time). One improvement could be to add tooltips to the cards when you have them selected, to know what they do within the game. It's very polished and has good potential for replayability.
Good job!

Nice game, I especially like the menu, though I misunderstood it at first and selected the credits every time (where it said to hover the mouse). I liked the music and "voiceover" and though I couldn't get through many levels, I enjoyed it. Also nice that you got the Linux version working.

Very nice collection of minigames! I guess the surprise was which game you get?
It got a little repetitive after getting the same one several times, but that's to be expected with 24 slots to fill. I never understood what to do in the reindeer game, but the others were nice. An ending screen after playing through all of them would have been nice. Good job!

This game doesn't have a Linux or Mac version, but has it specified. Maybe it was specified by mistake?

Nice game, but very difficult. Big plus for Linux version, though the menu was only 1/4 of the screen in the bottom left corner. I could still get into the game, but the terminal showed a number of collision errors such as:

ERROR: body_set_shape_as_one_way_collision: Condition "body->get_space() && flushing_queries" is true.
   At: servers/physics_2d/physics_2d_server_sw.cpp:739.

Following the theme and easy to pickup, good job!

This game doesn't have a Linux version, but is specified as having one (I don't see a Mac version either). Was it specified by mistake?

Cute art, nice music and pretty addictive gameplay. It was fairly easy to pick up the controls and get points and I like the Yogs cameos in the background. Big plus for Linux version! Well done!

Thank you! The "elfs" are tomtar (kind of gnomes) that appeared in the game Röki that Briony played recently.
I definitely would have liked to make some more levels, as the only level there is now is basically a tutorial level.
Glad you liked it!

Nice game with intuitive controls. I got a lot of lag when the crane was moving, unfortunately, but it stopped when it got to a certain part in its animation/movement. Big plus for Linux version!

Thank you very much!
I'd like to extend the game at some point with real levels, as the current level is, as you point out, more of a tutorial and not a challenge at all.
The panic state is meant to be quite random, so it can get quite crazy and there are some movement bugs I didn't have time to fix, but it can make for some fun chaos. :)
I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you! I'm not a graphics artist, so I'm very happy with how it turned out.
The level design was done in a minute near the end, so it's more of a tutorial. With more work I'd like to add real levels that are actually a bit of a challenge.

Thank you very much! That was the pretty much the main goal of the game (and learning how to use Unity). :)

Thank you for the review!
The limited colours is because I was using Gameboy (pocket) colours to give a specific feel to the game.
The sound effects were quite rushed, I would have liked to make them softer, but still with the same retro feel.
Perhaps an extra animation for trying to dig in impassable blocks could help with knowing which blocks to dig through, but there wasn't time during the jam, nor for any kind of menu.
I'm sorry you didn't like the tomte, it was (like other parts of the game) an influence from Briony's streams.
Glad you still enjoyed it!

Unfortunately I couldn't find a Linux version in the download. Maybe Linux support was specified by mistake?

I unfortunately couldn't get it to run (in local web server), I just got some symbols in the top left corner.

Nice little game, fairly simple to pick up, though it took me a moment to understand what I was supposed to do and I didn't last long (probably because I'm not good at shooter games). The different weapons give a bit of variation, though I think it would work better to just give you them instead of having to drop and pick up the present each time. Also big plus for Linux version. Good work!

The apk is for Android. I'm guessing they didn't have time to upload executables for other platforms.

Thank you very much! I haven't really worked much with Unity before and I'm not really an artist, so I'm happy with how it turned out in this limited time. With more time I would like to make actual levels with puzzle elements.

Thank you! I developed it on Linux, so the Linux version was the default for me.
I'm not sure why the controls are bugged for you, they work for me both on Linux (Ubuntu 19.10) and Windows.
What platform did you run it on?

Yes, I played it on Linux (Ubuntu 19.10) and it ran well!

Fun short game! I had some trouble figuring out the controls, as I missed them on the start screen, but that's mostly my own fault. I'm not sure what the second tool was, though I figured out it dealt with chickens. The only real gameplay problem I had was with jumping, as the game didn't always respond well to my space keypresses.
The music was nice and the sound clips gave it a fun extra touch. Big plus for Linux version!
