Great job! I had a lot of fun with this one!

Thanks for playing the game! It's impressive that you got 10 scrolls without jumping and I really appreciate the kind words!

Cool game! Also, it took me a while to find the button for the flashlight, I was able to get 2 of the 4 artifacts. The biggest issue I ran into was not knowing if all doors were meant to be opened. I found 3 that were locked, and only found 1 key. My guess is that the last 2 artifacts were behind the other 2 doors, but I didn't know how to get them opened. Great job overall and I really liked the atmosphere!

Thanks for playing my game and leaving a lot of helpful feedback! We planned the game around the premise of collecting scrolls that are no way required, you have to chose to save media! Also, on the note of collectables, more games need to have museums, I especially like the museum in Paper Mario: The Origami King! Thanks for playing so many games!

Thanks for playing the game!

Really fun game! Was the world randomly generated or was it all planned out? I feel like this also work better in a smaller space. Also, how many stars are there, or is it infinite? Great job overall!

Really great game! My only wish is that the recipes would be dependent on some of the food you currently have out, or else have a way to reset your board to gain better variety. I had a lot of fun with this game!

This game was so much fun and really feels fleshed out! I hope you end up selling this game because there is so much here! Great job!

Cool, I didn't know that! Unity is much worse at handling slopes. However, the stairs to the attic are impossible to jump on, while the ones to the basement work just fine.

Thanks for the feedback! There is a lot going on at once and I totally agree with you, it can get to be a bit much.

Cool game! The fire ball was interesting! My lore is that the enemies are pacifists, and that there are bound to be penalties if you kill them. Great job overall!

The premise feels great, though hopeful law gets passed before 2027 (probably unlikely), though now that you have made this game, this event will likely happen!  Great job and good luck with the jam!

I would recommend using the mouse controls if you can, they really make things easier. We were going to have the jump be alt instead of right shift, but that caused issues for this game as it had its own function in the web. If you get a chance I would recommend giving it another go, you just need to plan your moves, you have time, and make use of walls and the jump action to reposition yourself. It is really hard, but there is no penalty for dying.  Thanks for all the feedback and good luck with the jam!

And now all the humans are dead... This felt a lot like golfing for humans, and I really enjoyed it. It was hard but rewarding, and as mentioned has a lot of speed running potential. I hope you continue this project!

Good point, you have to make a living somehow!

Great job! I had a lot of fun dashing around getting to the green cubes! Speaking of that, a dash mechanic would be a great addition to the game! It was shocking to run into the red cubes, I thought they would be a power up. Also, do the coins contribute to the score? Hope you have a good rest of the jam!

Great game! I got all three endings! If you haven't yet, it would be great to have a button to press to skip the How To screen. Also coding stairs is a killer and loves to make it harder to jump on them.

Looks like a great game! You should post the game in the discord when it is able to be played! I would love to play it!

I beat the game!! Great job making this game, I had a lot of fun crushing the dragon with 600HP!

Very cool! Gets the point across really well! When is the multiplayer server coming out? Great job and good luck with the jam!

Cool designs, I really liked the feel of the game! It was a bit harder than I would have liked, and I feel like the boss needs to spawn in further from you. Especially since its first attack deals half of your health.

Great job overall!

I'm glad you figured out the jumping! I wish I had more time to make a tutorial as it seems many people got confused about it. Thanks for all the feedback and good luck with the game jam!

Great game! The animations are really smooth and kind of unsettling! Also the writing in the book looked very well done!

Thanks for playing the game! Yes we've encountered the bug many times when play testing. Were you able to press "R" twice to fix it? That usually works for us. Hope the jam goes great for you!

I really liked some parts of this, others need just a bit of work. Like others have said, the gravity is a bit too soft. Sometimes it feels like I am waiting to fall. The difficulty felt great, it took me a few tries, but eventually I got it down! A dash would also be a great addition, however I would like to point out that since moving actions cost blood, the player loses their incentive to be fast. To fix this I would suggest two things, that there is an optimal way to move to lose less blood, and that performing combos gives you blood. Or as a mix of these two, performing combos in a row causes you to lose less blood. Either way, I see great potential in this game and hope that you continue it! Great job and good luck with the jam!

I really liked this game! The puzzles felt purposeful and well designed! Using a limited number of steps is also a mechanic that greatly fits the theme but has not been done by many people! Great job over all!

Great job with this game! The combat flowed really nicely and I would love to see this expanded upon with more attacks and enemies!

This game really makes you feel something! But I have so many questions like who was the voice, and where did Polly go? Great job with this game! Loved the art!

I had a lot of fun with this game! The robotic voices and characters made this feel like a Portal horror game, but with a general feeling of wanting to be hugged! Great job overall!

Great game! I had a lot of fun playing it! It's simple but gets the concept along very nicely! Way to go!

Thanks for the feedback, we had a lot of fun designing the levels! Hope the jam goes well for you!

Very cool concept! I had a lot of fun with this and hope that you get the chance to expand it some more! It really got down the feeling of just watching history repeat itself. Great job overall!

(1 edit)

I see, you can use the jump to get out of sticky situations, (right shift). The jump is also really good for repositioning around rooms and avoiding enemies.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing my game! I'm glad you were able to figure it out! If the team ends up continuing the game we will definitively  have to think about more characters! Good luck with the jam!

Great job! I really enjoyed the simplicity of the game and I love how the people gather above you and pressure you to do more!

Thanks for playing the game! Don't worry, the scrolls don't reset if you die, also could you tell me more about getting soft locked? Did it occur by running into wind? Great job with your game!

Great game! The physics are really unique and I really enjoyed it! It was challenging but rightly so, and the movement felt so smooth! Way to go!

Great job with this game! I loved the dynamic lightning and while the game was stressful, it sure was a lot of fun! It was mentioned previously but a restart button would be really nice, often I would fall somewhere and have to wait for 7 seconds!

Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback!

I had to play it again, 24 deaths until victory, I got unlucky and ended up with 1 HP and 7 decay. That did not go well for a couple turns.
