Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! A mini-map to help navigate the world is a great idea!

Thank you for the kind words!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I actually just found it, so I'm make a patch for it right now :)

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback!

While it is true that the leading player will build up more of a combo with access to more notes, our mechanic assumes that players will be much more likely to break as a player needs to start hitting 5 and then 6 notes. On the flip side, it will be much easier for the player behind to build up a steady, albeit smaller, combo.

Because of this, we needed the combos to fully break on each miss in order to create back-and-forth tension between the players by allowing the idea of a “counter attack” once the player ahead misses. This was to help make the multiplayer aspect as interesting and interactive as possible.

The music we ended up making did seem to have a bit of a disconnect with the game, something higher energy might have been better suited for sure.

Thanks for playing and once again thank you very much for the feedback!

Wow what a cool game! We also did a rhythm game albeit much more traditional haha. I really love the music and the rhythm mechanics! The mapping was done exceptionally well and I really felt I was playing to the beat.

Yea the music was quite rushed looking back but we had a lot of fun with it regardless, haha. Glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback!

Rhythm games are quite rare in these jams haha. Glad you liked it!

Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you very much!

Thank you for the kind words and feedback!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Do you mind sharing what browser you were using? And whether or not you have hardware acceleration enabled? Thanks for playing!

Wow I actually really liked this game. The music used when swapping between the worlds fit super well! The art as well, while limited, also fit the theme well. Very well done on the creepy atmosphere!

Really liked this game, you did a great job exploring and expanding the mechanics. I really liked the last few levels, especially the one room with all the scary looking eye things. It was fun getting better at using the mechanics in quick succession, reminds me a lot of Celeste.

I found this game to be super nice and overall very well made and polished! I really love the shader effect used as well as the postprocessing effects. I feel like they play into the one-bit theme really well! The music and sound design was also super clean and I loved the retro aesthetic.

Glad you liked it!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thank you! Definitely wished we had more time to fine tune the camera and show off more of the pixel art. Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you!

Yea, the setting is definitely a little dark once you stop to think about it, but we felt it meshed nicely with this year's theme. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Very cool game! I really like how creative the levels and mechanics were!

What a cool idea! Really liked how the difficulty ramped up in the later levels!

Thank you for playing!

The direction the die faces when on a numbered tile is definitely something we were less than certain about. Although it seems most people understood after some tinkering, our approach may not have been the most intuitive.

We appreciate the time you took to play our game and give feedback and suggestions. :)

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! We figured with the time we had that simple background music might get repetitive, especially with some of the longer puzzles. Glad you liked it!

(1 edit)

Thank you for your feedback! We quickly realized during play-testing after the jam that there was definitely some accessibility issues with the colors we used.

A colorblind mode or just better contrast is definitely something we could have done to improve the game with.

Thank you for the feedback!

Nice game! We had a similar idea for ours and its cool to see different mechanics!

Thank you!

Thank you! :)

Thank you! We really wanted the player to learn the mechanics of the game through experience and experimentation, and I am happy to see someone liked that approach!

Super cool concept! I really like the pixel art and animations.

Interesting game! I think this concept is super cool!

Super cool game! I loved the final boss music!

Overall was a pretty interesting game! I like the music and art style, although I did get a bit confused on where to go and what the different forms did.

Thank you!
