Hi! I'm a unity developer, my best skills are game design and programming, however I'm an all rounder and can fill up for any role except music. Check out my itch profile to see my games. Let me know if you are interested in teaming up.

You should have got the 3rd place tbh

Really cool vibe! I love the title, pixel art is great, character design and music are very good too. For one match I accidentally won easily, for another I couldn't do anything against them, but probably skill issue. Good job!

You managed to make a very cosy game. I did not expect a fishing game here. Music was good. I probably suck at this, because all the fish run away from my lure and start zooming around. Controls of the lure are a bit difficult, you can't maintain position or really swim up, and I think the fish run away if you reel in? Good job!

Thanks for the review! There was a plan to make it more interesting, but not enough time. I wanted to introduce mission/bet system, where you would pay to take up a task - and only get the prize if completed in specified time. Unfortunately I had to scrap that during the jam. Maybe a bit of storyline as well.

Thanks for playing! I'm actually glad someone unlocked this way of dying xD. It's relieving that you liked the VA, i thought it did not really work out well.

Sorry for my little guys behavior, I have no idea why they did that. The scope was tailor made for this jam, but I still overdid that a little, so ultimately I barely finished with time extension, absolutely drained. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it, that alone makes me motivated to continue development later on.

Interesting take on alternative history and use of art. The gameplay, however, is a bit of a mess. Hundreds of missiles, touching one deletes you. A bit too hard, at least for me. I think I flew off the screen, and got lost somewhere, I guess you can fly indefinitely far. Increasing the view area, so that you can see more around (and have any space to dodge the missiles) would already improve things a lot. Visual effects (glitches) are a bit too strong. I think it has great potential as a visual novel, or maybe you can just change the gameplay a bit, it's very overwhelming.  Don't take me wrong, I can see some huge effort in drawing all the panels! Great job overall, good marks for visuals and originality from my side.

Sorry, I actually didn't implement the difficulties and forgot to delete them. Lack of time. I know, the fog was a problem in lower parts of the map, I didn't manage to really balance it out. Main navigation in that area was supposed to be a map and scanner, but I suppose it wasn' t really working as intended. As for worm... It's not a glitch, I knew I could not balance it properly, so the worm is basically a scripted event for the first descent, I didn't want to make it too annoying.  Other creatures come in later. Thank you for the review, it really helps!

Awww, you went into detail! Have you seen "info" tab next to map? Maybe it was not visible. Anyway, cloak is a direct counter for the eyes. Makes them go away in like 10s.

Yeah the gameplay loop is described in the intro, but maybe I did not show that clearly or it did not work. I lost an entire day trying to rework the claw, so I left it, definitely not enough time. Thanks for constructive comment tho.

Yeah it's far from balanced, didn't have time for that. I hope you enjoyed death animations at least :)

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! Yeah, voice acting generally did not go as well as I imagined :')

This is beatiful. Very short, but great.

This is super cute. Art is consistent and looks very well, gameplay is fun, but controls of mech 2 jumping were a bit off. Amazing work.

Quite difficult, feels like an old flash game. Cover art is great, I just hope it's not ai

Nice! The gameplay is a bit punishing, but the mech design is very  good. I would help it the player controller was a little bit more responsive (faster acceleration etc)

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for amazing feedback!

Ok

Fun little game! Plays like a classic arcade game.

Hey, I have no way or time to play this, but props to you for creativity!

Seems like a lot of things are missing here, but really good effort on 2D art! Looks like a good start for a classic rpg.

Pretty fun! I love 86, i think you made a quite good model. Crossover with old russian military style is actually quite fitting. Good work!

The vibe, the lore, the gameplay... Feels like and old school table top rpg. Cold war aesthetic is a great idea, I felt like digging deeper into the lore. And so many mechs to that! Good job.

Just... wow. For the first two minutes I just sat in the menu admiring the art and music. The game feel, the entire city, you got everything right. Even the story elements! I got the vibe of early 2000 mecha anime.

Absolutely outstanding art! A bit hard to understand the mechanics at first, but it makes you want to try more. 5/5 all the way.

Suprisingly hard? I beat it only at 3rd try, got rank S! It has some cool retro vibes, like old wii or arcade games. I like the art.

Good walking mechanics, I'm pretty sure I heard a toyota corolla handbrake when space pressed :) . As previously said, could be easily made better by making more enemies.

Very fun idea, good design of the mech (had a chuckle reading the lore). I got up to level 30 :)

Hey there is no game file

Hi, I sent you a a request on discord.

Glad you liked it! Sorry for the ui, it's my first time making a game for browser, and resolution gets messed up on fullscreen. We didn't have too much time for playtesting, so the "zoomies" are still not balanced 😅

Glad you felt the vibe!

Omg thanks! I also cracked up when my brother sent me that duck recording, implementing that was satysfying af.

Thanks for playing! Just to know, was playing with keyboard that hard? What was the most annoying part?

Thanks, glad you like it!

Ducks are the best creatures on earth

Glad you liked it! Actually, it's not a bug, it's a feature 😅. That way you can set one character in one direction, while controling the other (capybara leads, while you follow behind with a duck). You can't pet the dog, but you can stomp over sheep.
