Thanks for playing!  May your reign be long and prosperous :)

That's really funny, Jaspi was named after a cat of mine! Thanks so much for the comments, glad you enjoyed the game :)

Hello,

I'm very proud to release The Princess of Vestria - an interactive, consequence-rich fantasy adventure made using Twine - https://k-paulo.itch.io/the-princess-of-vestria-full-release

"Your brother lies gravely ill, and no one knows how to save him. Until, you have a dream...

Flee the palace. Journey across the kingdom in disguise and see it like never before. Uncover lost truths and hidden secrets. Take on dangers – or avoid them. Be trusting or suspicious. Diplomatic or devious. Kind or ruthless. There are many ways to succeed, and just as many ways to fail...

Shape your character and with it, the destiny of the kingdom you will one day rule."

Playtime: 1-2hrs

Happy princess-ing!

The Princess of Vestria (beta) is ready :)  Hopefully not too many bugs; it's been through a few rounds of playtesting already (and IFComp2022!). But I've updated with some new mechanics so it does need more testing. To anyone interested in giving it a whirl, link's below, happy adventuring!

Sorted it! Turns out you can't just use the same index.html file from the previous version of the game 😂

As opposed to uploading new files to the same project? I only recently noticed you could do that. Is that useful?

I'm finding this really strange.

I've been working on a Twine game and am preparing to release the final version. However, old versions of the game exist on my creator profile - demos, etc, from last year. Whenever I "create a new project" and add the new game file, I start playing and invariably find that it's the old game file.

The new project and the new game file are named differently from the old version.

Help!

My pick of IFComp 2022

5/5 👏🏽

Hi, I've written a murder mystery story that you explore by choosing leads to follow and trying to piece together what happened (in the style of the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective/Detective Modern Crime board games).

Anyone interested in trying it and giving feedback, I'd be very grateful! The main thing I want feedback on: difficulty. Is it too hard? Does the solution seem reasonable/gettable? Also grateful for general feedback/thoughts.

I'm trying to gain collaboration experience and writing credits!

Happy to contribute anything from basic editing/proofreading, to dialogue to lore/worldbuilding/narrative/gameplay design!

Got a couple of Twine games on my dashboard as samples of my work, a fantasy adventure and a "solve the case" detective game: https://inimitablecapybara.itch.io/
