Sneaky bugs are never fun, but Dark Forest is! If this info helps any later down the line, I'm using Brave, I did have uBlock on, but it only blocked itch.io's side-ad. If a site data dump would somehow help, let me know. I'll zip it up and drop it in a google drive link. ty for a wonderful game; that ending was a fun surprise!

So I started the fight, got to phase three, threw in the towel. (It caught me off guard without my mouse pad, early in the morning, and I panicked!) Figured I'd try again later. It sent me back to the load screen after I died, and when I loaded, it had picked some WAY older save. Literally after I had finished my first Heart. All my progress is just gone.

You do realize whatever we have to do to survive under capitalism, is fair game- it's not the system we designed. We dismantle it by any means we can. That doesn't mean you starve yourself to death getting there.

I think the point is to keep to the spirit of game jam. They're meant to learn, grow, apply your knowledge, socialize, have fun and come away with a sense of accomplishment. You aren't really doing that if you rely on third party tools to carry the workload. Part of this walk through knowledge also includes being able to readily find what we're looking for in source documentation.
Acerola, it would be nice, given the way this has devolved- if you could give offer an official yes or no. I know what our personal feelings about AI are, but an "I would" answer leaves a bit of ambiguity for anyone who reads this later, and isn't aware where else this conversation spilled over to.
