Hey!

I have not been doing nearly as much game development as of late, but I would love to assist in any small and/or low effort projects! Things I am not an expert at and can probably give halfway decent results in include:

Level Design/Concepts

Pixel art

Logos

Writing

Gameplay mechanics design

Overall game design things :)

No payment or anything needed! I would just like to get more experience under my belt and maybe help some people along the way! Have a nice day!

Thank you so much! Yeah it was definitely a challenge for us, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

This was more fun than I thought. The movement kinda hindered me in a way but overall a good experience!

This was a very solid entry. Music, visuals, and the main gameplay mechanic were all well done. The music caught my attention immediately lol. Like others have said already there is a relatively big difficulty spike on the level with 4 corpses, but overall this was super fun to play! Great job!

This is super cool. My favorite thing is definitely the (randomly selected?) music. The visuals are also very well done and appealing. I couldn't tell I was attacking at first but excellent presentation!!

Even though I know you had to rush this out, you were able to execute the concept pretty well. Decently fun with a good aesthetic!

Hey,

I'm Dori. I am a relatively new dev who has been dabbling every so often for maybe 4 years. I haven't made a ton but this year I'm making more of an effort to participate in a lot more jams. I have been focusing on learning Unity for a while so that's been cool, but I've messed around in GameMaker, Godot, and even RPGMaker just a bit. I'm mostly interested in game design but I'm trying to learn more about music, writing, and art as well. Programming is definitely my weakest point and it'll probably stay that way. Most things I'll be making are free small projects or stuff for jams. Hopefully I make something that'll make you smile (or sad, if I go for that too lol)!

Thanks! And yeah I got too busy and couldn't finish. The game was basically going to be the player trying to get to know the NPCs through dialogue choices and exchanges. It would be a made up language so I wanted to have the sprites emote a little and other helpful images.

So the goal for the player would have been to pick as many correct dialogue choices based on the NPCs' reactions to what you're saying, in order to fill up a bar that would've pretty much led to a "win".

Hopefully that makes sense!

Thanks. Sorry about that haha. I fixed it so it should be playable now!

I just jumped in and started drawing (ugly) stuff. I don't know exactly what the "game" is gonna be yet, but I might end up going with essentially a talking simulator lol. I just hope I can make up some cool, funny, nice, and/or interesting dialogue.

THANKS FOR PLAYING!
